I am caregiver to my mum with Alzheimer's for 4.5 years now. There is not a day that goes by that I do not put some makeup on. Its for me,to make me feel good. My job was in the fashion world so I always dressed well and tried to look great. That hasn't changed now and it won't in the future no matter how hard it is knowing I have given up a lot for my mum.

I am an artistic person by nature and I love makeup for the artistry of it. As far as vanity goes, I would go anywhere without make up no problem but every morning, no matter what's on the schedule for the day, I do a nice job on my makeup before I leave my bedroom/bathroom area. This is my "me" time everyday. It starts my day off with doing something that feels creative and personal and leaves me feeling put together and ready for the day. I may never look in the mirror for the whole rest of the day but for that time in the morning, I'm loving the process, just for me.

NIKOL, this is the first video of yours for applying makeup I have watched, and I loved it! That Channel palette really looks awesome on you. I also love deep greens. Whether it be matte or shimmery. Your video has given me the confidence to just try new colors on myself. When I was younger, makeup was a breeze to put on, I always loved the shimmering colors the best. Didn't think about anything while applying, just 1,2,3 and out the door looking flawless. I agree that now that I am 62, I have to make sure I'm putting the right things and why and where, right? But I have a few pallets to play with, and I will. It's so fun to just throw caution to the wind, and put on whatever colors you really like, and just put them on. Why are we "maturer" women so hard on ourselves, and hold back on applying color in general. I agree with you 100%, and your face came out so beautiful (as usual).

Nikol I love this look on you. Your face is so striking it works well. The outfit you’re wearing carries it even more. I love the just peachy and bought some for my daughter who is your age. I wore this look (put it on in the car after traveling 10 hours) at Christmas to meet the kids for dinner. I often thought it was too much. But hey it was Christmas and it made me feel so festive. I threw on a red shawl, some great Chanel earrings and it worked. My 7 year old grandson took the picture. The lip color looks like a true soft peach!

My mother and grandmother taught me that no matter how rough things are, you have to make an effort to pull yourself together. When I went through my health struggles, I forced myself to do my hair and makeup every day. It absolutely improved my outlook and helped me get through so many really rough days. I love this eye look! I have never put such a dark color under my eye but I really like that! I never put mascara on my bottom lashes but the way you applied the bottom lash mascara only to the outside that worked and looks great. I wear sunscreen everyday and I also apply makeup everyday so this was fun to see what you can get with just playing! Thanks

I know you mentioned that you prefer black mascara … but … I recently purchased your mascara, and it is fantastic! The wand in the formula are just brilliant for my short lashes. What would make it 1 million times better is if I could get the exact same thing in a dark brown color! I hope someday you’ll reconsider an add this to your line. I’ve purchased three tubes of the BB cream because it’s absolutely fantastic for my almost 50-year old skin. So natural! I’m loving the eyeliner and color corrector too. I like you. I don’t really like traditional make-up, nor do I like to wear anything I can’t run in… but you look good in all of your outfits. I doubt I’ll ever like makeup but I enjoy painting my face like a tribal member… Thanks for showing people and helping them look like a magazine model.

I love this eye look! I have never put such a dark color under my eye but I really like that! I never put mascara on my bottom lashes but the way you applied the bottom lash mascara only to the outside that worked and looks great. I wear sunscreen everyday and I also apply makeup everyday so this was fun to see what you can get with just playing! Thanks

The eye shadow on my computer looked to be a deeper gray color, pretty on you. The brown eye liner with it was good looking . I haven’t tried your BB cream, feeling I need more coverage, but it looks really good on you.

I know you mentioned that you prefer black mascara … but … I recently purchased your mascara, and it is fantastic! The wand in the formula are just brilliant for my short lashes. What would make it 1 million times better is if I could get the exact same thing in a dark brown color! I hope someday you’ll reconsider an add this to your line. I’ve purchased three tubes of the BB cream because it’s absolutely fantastic for my almost 50-year old skin. So natural! I’m loving the eyeliner and color corrector too. Everything I’ve tried has been phenomenal! ❤ A brown mascara would be chefs kiss!!!
