Hey everyone, thanks for watching! I’ve listed each piece I wore every day in the description box, including if there is a tutorial for how to make it (for most things I wore, there’s a tutorial so if you liked it, you can make it for yourself!) 💖 have a great day, everyone!
I love that pinafore dress! Yeah you should definitely take a break from novelty and fill out your wardrobe with some staples.....I highly recommend looking through the men's section for some good fabrics....I find that at thrift stores more recently, the women's section is often flooded with a lot of fast fashion in really cheap fabrics. If you can find a thrift store with a good XL+ boring old men's section you can find some excellent fabrics. You just have to ignore your eyes, go to the most boring section and explore only by feel. I always check the button down shirts, jeans and slacks! Men's cotton fabrics, especially pants and jeans, just get softer while women's just fall apart with repeated washing & wearing. Oh and of course, the men's pockets are like 4x larger. Just be careful or the Hawaiian print Grandpa shirts will will pile up. Lol
Annika Victoria hey are you going to make a tutorial or put a pattern up for the pink sweater? I love the look of it and have just started feeling ok enough with my body to wear cropped tops and want to make one myself. I just finished my first skirt, I used your circle skirt pattern from the teacup dress video. It came out so well!!!! Keep up being just an amazing wonderful person and thank you!!
WOAH I’m sure this may not be a big deal for other people but at about 10:00 you said the skirt didn’t fit because you “changed weight” and didn’t say “GAINED weight” or LOST weight” just “changed weight” and that struck me to the core because it doesn’t actually matter which direction it was and I hope more of us learn to use language like that because it’s really helpful in terms of body image and not focusing on weight/size as a good or bad thing just different and constantly changing. Thank you Annika❤️🙏🏽
Such a stupid thing to say when you guys blame body positivity for things like obesity. To be positive on your body image is not about being okay with unhealthy behavior. But being obsessed with the weight you have is unhealthy, too. Along with obesity, millions of people suffer from bulimia, anorexia and other eating disorders.
If any of you know or follow Annika enough, then you know she happens to be losing weight and it isn't due to her choice but as a result from her sickness. People pointing out to her that she had lost weight was just a reminder that she doesn't have the control over her body she wishes she could have due to disability. Many people who are struggling with their weight, be it for health reasons or other, don't need other people pointing it out or reminding them. If someone is obese, slamming them for "poor health choices" isn't going to encourage them to do anything. It's going to discourage them from having pride in themselves and instead hate their bodies and therefore not care for their bodies. If you want someone to take care of their health, then encourage them to love their bodies regardless of weight and ability. The more pride they have in themselves the more it'll be reflected in how they care for themselves.
Like allyssa, that one word, change, made my whole head spin. Such a good use. Changed weight like it's no big deal, which more people need to make less of a deal about. Love it
Already know I'm so lacking in the pants department. There's just so many places things can go wrong :( waistline, crotch fit, does the butt look decent... AAAUGH may we find strength to persevere!!
so... for perfect fit try this... 1. find pants that fit you well 2. measure them in all the directions you need. 3. learn to sew well 4. make a pattern and use the measurement that you took to customize your pattern 5. (I do this with recipes, I cook) alter the shape of the pattern to fit you better... more room. less room in the tushy, and the crotch...
I love seeing someone else with a chronic illness live their life happily. I have a relatively minor chronic illness but its invasive and difficult all the same. It really helps me still feel positive and hopeful for the future. Idk if this came off as condescending but this vid really did make me feel better. :)
Don't be too quick to turn away from statement fabrics if you love them! This wasn't a fair test to see if you would wear them or not. Just because of the challenge, you didn't have many plain layering pieces which you might have chosen to balance the bold patterns with. But sewing really plain "background" clothing like black tights isn't exactly fun. Very useful to have those supporting pieces, but if it's not exciting and fun to sew wouldn't it be just a chore? Anyway, sew what makes you happy. Buy whatever is boring but necessary. Wear what you love! We love you, Annika! Edit: Maybe someday "Sew Happy" could be another type of show where you really revel in making exciting, fun clothing that just brings joy to your heart!
this is kinda a weird thing but like, i wanted to say thank you for saying you "changed weight" rather than lost weight? it was just nice to hear someone mention a weight change without glorifying losing weight or acting like gaining weight would be bad. it was a really refreshing neutrality, especially as someone who struggles a lot with weight and health and who's size fluctuates quite a bit.
Thank you, it was a very intentional choice that I’m trying to be really mindful of, so I’m glad that you appreciate it ~trying to destroy diet culture wherever it appears~
I meant to mention the way you worded your weight loss in my other comment. I also was impressed that you did not gloat about losing weight, especially as it seems you have lost weight because of not being well.
She lost weight. Big deal. You getting offened by a word is dumb and is the problem with this earth. People shouldn't have to walk on glass around easily offended dumbasses because we "hurt your feelings". Im trying to LOSE some pounds get over it 😒😒😒

Every single one of these outfits is fantastic! Your sense of style has really influenced me to think outside of current trends and figure out what I enjoy wearing.
I was literally just thinking '21! That's warm, why does she need to dress warmly if it's already fairly hot outside', then you said 'it's probably warm if you live in England or something'... so yeah lol, I feel called out Edit: just got to the end of the video and I love the idea and that it showed you what you wear practically and what you want to have for the future! Great video Annika!!
21 was de higher temperature, maybe the lower was 15, I can understand her choices! I live in south Spain, less than 18 degrees means jackets or jerseys for me 😂😂😂
I super appreciate your careful choice of language when you said "i changed weight" it makes me feel really welcomed when you didn't take that opportunity to revel in weight loss, i def dont need to tell you how difficult a person's relationship with their weight and their body can be, but i just wanted to say thank you for your conscious choice to use language that challenges the default that thin=good it means a lot
It's so nice to see someone I look up to use a mobility device when they need it. I have EDS and always feel like someone is going to call me out for using a mobility device even though I can TECHNICALLY walk maybe some of the time.
tempestuousGemini it took a while to feel confident using it when I needed it, because of the ridiculous idea that all wheelchair users = can’t walk, but I’m so glad that I do, saving my energy on days I don’t feel the best so I can do ~nice~ things or work is sooo worth it! #babeswithmobilityaids 🙌
I have EDS as well and these videos make me feel so much better too. I still struggle telling people I can’t walk anymore that day or that I need to get a bus or Uber for a short distance, but someday I hope to work up the confidence to be more comfortable and honest with what is best for me!
I was a little confused when I saw little shots of her wheel chair but other shots of her walking and I am glad you cleared this up for me. I had no idea.
OMG I was watching this and thinking “it would be crazy if she has EDS. I have hEDS so my mind tends to go there when I see others with chronic illness. It’s crazy how many others i see with it since I became aware of it!
I've been thinking about doing a whole year of not buying any clothes, just making anything new that I need. This video is inspiring me to give it a try.
I’m trying to learn to sew so I’d be able to make the clothes I need in the way I like and to stop having many clothes (most were handed down to me, though) that fit me, buuuuuuuuuut isn’t something I usually wear..... or something that I like, but doesn’t quite fit me perfectly well so I end up never wearing it. I actually have some clothing in my wardrobe that I kept because « well, if I put on a very patted bra it will fit » but I always wear the same non patted bras.
Consider looking up "Thoughtful Creativity" (Alisa) on YT, to get some ideas about easy capsule wardrobe options (either self-drafted or free patterns) so that you can quickly put together full outfits that will coordinate, and not get stuck like poor Annika did on this video/week. (I ADORE Annika, don't get me wrong! But Alisa is just so good at presenting doable, wearable projects!)
I think a good idea would be to sell the brightly colored patterned things that you're not wearing since they are handmade in your own designs I think you could sell them for a bit of change and you can put it towards your UA-cam channel or you could donate it or do something fun with it. Since you're not wearing them anyway and you can always repeat that same pattern for those items of clothing with a more subtle print or plain fabric.
This may be a dumb thing to comment, but I appreciate how you said "These shorts don't fit since I've *changed* weight" I'll admit my first thought (because of my past and current struggles with body image and my own weight) was perhaps you meant "gained" weight, but since it was belted and too loose the opposite was true, and we're so conditioned to thinking "gaining" weight is a bad thing that seeing someone use such a neutral tone towards _losing_ weight was rather refreshing, honestly, it's how it should be.
This is one of my favorite of your videos. I know that when I am wearing a full outfit of slightly modified clothes I have such a sense of satisfaction and I can only image the sense of pride in wearing an outfit of things you created. It's exciting and seems so empowering in a way. Love this channel :)
Novelty prints for!!: Napkins, pillows or pillow covers, bag lining, head scarves, wallet linings, zip pouches, lunch bags, and handkerchiefs. I think i came to the same conclusion as you about crazy fabrics- i still want to use them and have them in my life even if i don’t ever wear them. i would love to see you incorporate novel prints some other ways! you are amazing and i love you. thanks for being awesome
Rewatching old video to get my Annika time, and just did this challenge for a whole month! I still mixed a few items when I didn't have a full outfit, but it taught me a lot as well to make things I lack in my current wardrobe. Keep healthy! I'll keep watching all the old gems you have posted!
Tbh I’m more of a sweatshirt person, even if I only favour them as loungewear. Hoodies can be so weirdly bulky. That said, I get my kicks from dressing like a witch in maxi dresses and pointed toe boots every damn day (with heattech under it in the winter) so I can’t judge.
This is so cool Annika! You should start your own label! I would buy all your clothes because I know they will be manufactured ethically. Glad to see you looking better and not feeling sick. Big hugs and kisses from the other side of Australia!
You’re sewing skills are my goals 😭 I’ve been binge watching you. My goal is to learn to sew so I can stop buying store bought (minus thrifted) clothes
This is totally me! Whenever I upcycle or make something new I wear it immediately. Last week I upcycled a black sleeveless tank top by adding cute neon green sleeves with a pink ruffle sleeve attached to it to school and everyone wanted to know where I'd gotten it. Making your own stuff makes you feel so good when people express admiration for it, but also when you finish it and step back and know you're proud of what you've just accomplished 😊
Hello can't believe I'm this early but just wanted to say you are so AWESOME!! Spreading fast fashion awareness and kicking health issues' butt! We love you! 😍💕💕
Love seeing people repping bum bags/fanny packs! They're just so useful for us in chairs, and I wish they were a little more accepted in the fashion realm lmao.
I loved this video, and I love when you discussed that laying around in the vlog was actually realistic and ok. I wish I heard this more, the 'hustle' of yt, work, life. Feeds my anxiety. I loved the practicality of the challenge. 10/10
Hey Anikka! This video came in great time, I am absolutely devastated because what happened in my country yesterday, a very bad and discriminative president was elected and I fit in absolutely every group he sends hate to, your videos were always a form of escape for me, and is not different than this one! thank you so much for not only for uploading, but for thinking of your subscribers even when you are not that well, I appreciate you the job that you make so much!
You are such an inspiration 😊 As someone who is disabled and also suffers from anxiety, I find watching your videos to be very relatable and uplifting. All of the outfits were adorable. Well done!
Your grumpy day montage reminds me of when I have a bad stomach day. (frequent stomach issues) I pretty much do the same thing. Listen to "edgy" music and wear dark colors. ^-^
I have the same issue with variegated yarn as you do with bright print fabric. It is so pretty/cute that I want to buy it all but I don't like making things with it lol. Love your video as always :)
I'm so glad I found your channel. I LOVE sewing, and when I heard you say 'change weights' instead of 'lost weight' and saw that you're really rocking your mobility device, it just made me so happy! You look so happy, you're just a ball of sunshine and your videos really make my day.
are those pinkish tortoiseshell glasses for migraines or are they just transitions catching some light? the colors of them go so well with the first outfit that it looks like you coordinated ALL of it and i love that!
I love how your hair turned out. Your channel have made be more aware of where my clothes come from. I have always shopped at the second hand store and altered clothes to look the way I want to. You have also shown me that I need to make more of my clothes. The seq machine and I really don't get along and I have been wanting to take classes so that I could get to know the machine better and maybe it will start to like me. You challenges are makeing me think even more outside of the box. I may not enter them but, just being apart of is and seeing everyone elses and giving my clothes even more of a story, I love it. I liked this video, blogging around sewing. Maybe you should add it to your channel or make another. I'm in.
This was by far my most favorite video of yours that you have made! And I love that you show yourself going out in your wheelchair. Visibility Love it!
Rewatching this vid atm and I just now realized, I appreciate it so incredibly much how you say you “changed weight” instead of using “I gained/lost weight”. Im gonna need to impliment that into my own life asap, thats gonna make the weight of such a sentence so much lighter wow.
I saw your post on instagram some minutes ago & I knew I had to watch the video as soon as possible! I really like the idea of making clothes myself, even if I'm not that skilled I try to re-visit old pieces in my wardrobe to give them another life & add more fun. you're such an amazing inspiration to all of us! thanks a lot, Annika!
Yess you look super cute in all your outfits, its so fantastic and inspiring to see you wear an entire week of handmade items 💕 You are slaying and laying perfectly, don't feel you have to be out and about to make it interesting, you have a great personality and we often forget that remaining chill, calm, and slowing down is one heck of a skill❣
This was such a cute and nice video! I loved how you took us around with you and it definitely wasn’t boring when you were laying around. It’s good to take care of yourself and take a rest when needed (which you know already). And it sets a good example I think :) I also love all the crazy patterns you use on your clothes. Maybe you can incorporate those into fanny packs or sometimes bags as statement pieces? Especially when you want to make some more clothing with subtle or no patterns.
"Its 20 degrees it's pretty cold" Me, a Canadian who wishes I could live in constant 20-30 degree weather: "What do u mean thats cold 20 degrees is like a low summer temperature"
I really want to try that trouser pattern. I have only attempted sewing leggings but it looks easy enough. I have chronic pain and live in leggings (It hurts too much to wear jeans) so this could be a good alternative. Also would love to see you style things for people with chronic pain or disabilities.
It’s quite an easy sew, easier than making leggings I would say! I looove that it has an elasticated waistband and loose-fitting legs, they’re the comfiest thing ever!
One of the things that I have always loved about this channel is that you use sooo many pretty fabrics. I don't hate plain fabrics but I do looooove prints and patterns, and I really don't think that you need to use less of them, only try to see what colors you prefer and make you feel good and you will see that everything goes with everything even with the patterns and prints. My wardrobe is mostly purple, blue, green, black, gray, and white; and with those 6 colors I have enough to combine and play and most importantly: use a whole bunch of prints without looking like too much. I think part of the challenge was to see what your style is and I think that part of the style is to choose what colors make you feel the best while being able to use all of your clothes. I hope this makes sense to you. Of course I understand that the style changes over time and some of this things are 2 years old so that may be the reason why they are not so appealing to you, and if that is the case (not the print itself but the item) you should choose a date to check into your closet and see what did you wear and what you didn't, if something has been 2 years without use you should give it to someone else because your probably are not going to use it again, not just the hand made but all the items, and each year on the same date keep on checking what is older than 2 years, it works just fine for me, and I think it could work for you too
Loved this video 😍 May I suggest something for the future: maybe make this a habit, like a day (or a week) per month (or every other month) wearing just your handmade clothes, so you can figure out what you really wear in different temperatures and seasons. Question is: Do the temperatures chance that much during the seasons? You said 21° are cold for Australia, while me (not british, but german aka close by) would classify this not as hot but really warm 🤣🌡️
I get really excited when I see a new video of yours. Not just because your content is always amazing but because it means you’re feeling better and getting more energy! I’m really proud of you and what you’ve been doing. You’re very inspirational and the only person out there that gives me motivation to craft. We’re all rooting for you girl! Love you :)
Im so proud of you! As someone with chronic illnesses, I know how hard it is to try and film everyday as well as get out of the house most of those days. ❤
I've been meaning to try this but need more pieces that I feel comfortable in. Maybe trying to wear at least me made item aday ? Omg! Your dad! I dont think weve ever seen him before. And of course. I love your mother.
This has helped ring home a truth to me as well: I need to stay away from the more quirky prints and styles when I'm in the second-hand shops, cus I've also realised that unless I'm going somewhere interesting/fancy (which doesn't happen that often these days) I'm really only going to wear cute and comfy clothes that are easy to wear when I'm having a fibromyalgia flare-up. I've got hundreds of fun and quirky items but in reality I only wear them like once a year, so it's just become a bit of a waste
Can I just say how great this video was. Also holy heck you have a great handmade wardrobe. I absolutely loved this whole vlogy style video and would love to see more. That being said, I will absolutely watch anything you post. Thank you for being amazing and sharing that with all of us.
Ohhh your fanny pack thing. I saw this lady at a market selling boho type vests. With pockets in the arm hole things. This idea is super cool. I honestly cant describe it because she said thought of the pattern herself and i cant find an image online. Imagine the underside of the arm holes having pockets like in the underside area. Soz bad description.
the pinafore dress!!! i’m gonna be making my first skirt using your half circle skirt method, and if i like it, making a pinafore dress is immediately after that. thanks for making the world of sewing much less intimidating. the future is accessible and we’re gonna own it 💛
Annika! You are so amazing!! Such a great idea for a video and so many great clothes!! Loved all the outfits and seeing the different sides of your personality. I always wondered how much of what people make on youtube is actually being worn. It's always so good to see you wearing garments you made on instagram. Also, I wish we had something like Reverse Garbage in every city!!
hey! i was wondering if you could give us some tips about keeping your workspace tidy and organized. i’m chronically ill/physically disabled so i get really tired easy and end up just leaving projects wherever they are when i get tired, and i know that you can relate to some of that. if you do thank you!! and even if you dont thank you!!! your videos always make me happy and inspired
I dunno maybe it has to do with humidity/wind. Living in the country where it's cold for most part of the year we're not really "used to it". 20-25°C is perfect range.
Annika Victoria that would be awesome! Maybe you could try everything on and give an approximate cost to make as well. Ps. It made me so happy to see your response to my comment!
I kept going to like the video but realized I already had. I don't think I ever realized how tall you are. You are adorable. I actually followed you before I realized I was becoming disabled. You've really been someone I could look to for strength. Thank you.
I love how like 80s and 90s your style is. Lol my diy outfit week looks allot different *allot more black and allot more skirts* but I love everything you've made. You've also made me realise I am in serious need of a fanny pack so I can carry more snacks lol
Fanny packs are awesome! I've never really liked having to carry a purse cause it's just one more thing on my shoulders (scoliosis) but I recently got a fanny pack and I need more of them! (I would try and make my own but no space for diy supplies in my uni dorm)
@@superhpfan00 funny enough I'm the opposite; I love huge bags because I find it's easier to have everything I might need for any situation. When I have smaller bags I find I forget things or don't have something I need more often.
Marcel Wilson-Lynch I'm in my second year of uni so I usually carry my backpack around, it just gets cumbersome when I have a backpack, one or more instrument cases /and/ a purse I treat it more like an extra pocket than anything else
Don’t listen to your anxiety, Annika. I know all too well that putting on a brave face and over exerting yourself to make your public persona more riveting can only lead to consequence. Live your life how YOU want and need, don’t worry about manufacturing it for us.
Hey everyone, thanks for watching! I’ve listed each piece I wore every day in the description box, including if there is a tutorial for how to make it (for most things I wore, there’s a tutorial so if you liked it, you can make it for yourself!) 💖 have a great day, everyone!

Here in the Netherlands it’s about 7 degrees at this moment haha 20 degrees sounds really good
lmao yes i'm in canada and 21 is when i start to sweat. its currently 2 here
I super appreciate your careful choice of language when you said "i changed weight" it makes me feel really welcomed when you didn't take that opportunity to revel in weight loss, i def dont need to tell you how difficult a person's relationship with their weight and their body can be, but i just wanted to say thank you for your conscious choice to use language that challenges the default that thin=good
it means a lot
Good luck on your project!!
Me too!
Making me tear up a bit.
21 is literallly swimming weather in canada lol
Same in estonia, literally our summer
21 is a warm summer day in finland too
ClaireBeauty 418 hahaha we are a bit wussy here in Australia :P
Same in Germany 😅😅 23 is our average high summer temp. 21 is my preferred!
ClaireBeauty 418 That’s freezing to us in California! Hahaha
I've been thinking about doing a whole year of not buying any clothes, just making anything new that I need. This video is inspiring me to give it a try.
Sarah Hamilton yes! You can do iiiit!
You should record your progress it would be interesting to see a year without shopping.
Go for it!
Ashleigh Sanders that’s a very good idea :)
I would buy something!
PS I call dibs on the banana dress 😍
This may be a dumb thing to comment, but I appreciate how you said "These shorts don't fit since I've *changed* weight" I'll admit my first thought (because of my past and current struggles with body image and my own weight) was perhaps you meant "gained" weight, but since it was belted and too loose the opposite was true, and we're so conditioned to thinking "gaining" weight is a bad thing that seeing someone use such a neutral tone towards _losing_ weight was rather refreshing, honestly, it's how it should be.
I enjoyed this a lot. I feel like I got to see more of your personality.
your dad is hilarious :D cool video!
witchssecret he sure thinks so ;) Hahahaha! Nah he is great. Thank you, I’m glad you enjoyed the video!
Your dad makes my day in this video
Things that stress me out: the fact you didn't have ANY big baggy hoodies in your collection. Hoodies are my entire wardrobe lmao
Tbh I’m more of a sweatshirt person, even if I only favour them as loungewear. Hoodies can be so weirdly bulky. That said, I get my kicks from dressing like a witch in maxi dresses and pointed toe boots every damn day (with heattech under it in the winter) so I can’t judge.
yeah i wear massive hoodies everyday even if it's boiling hot
honestly though same I don't know what I would do without hoodies LOL
nxvxr hoodies are sweatshirts tho?
Please make a tutorial for the pink sweater it’s sooo cute!!!
This is so cool Annika! You should start your own label! I would buy all your clothes because I know they will be manufactured ethically. Glad to see you looking better and not feeling sick. Big hugs and kisses from the other side of Australia!
I was in a bad mood before this. My day has been made better. Thank you and I hope you have a good day Annika 😊
it may be 5AM in america but thats no excuse to not click on a new annika video
sid this is true dedication
sid west coast
Rose Quartz fanny packs forever 🙌 I’m going to do my best to *keep* them in fashion haha
Everything turned out pretty well and you're very good at analyzing and sharing your skills, thoughts and feelings. Thanks
I loved this Annika!! You are so stinkin creative.
I absolutely adore the dress you wore on Sunday, it's so pretty! Very much enjoyed your kind personality and fun stylings.
I loved this video, and I love when you discussed that laying around in the vlog was actually realistic and ok. I wish I heard this more, the 'hustle' of yt, work, life. Feeds my anxiety. I loved the practicality of the challenge. 10/10
Hey Anikka! This video came in great time, I am absolutely devastated because what happened in my country yesterday, a very bad and discriminative president was elected and I fit in absolutely every group he sends hate to, your videos were always a form of escape for me, and is not different than this one! thank you so much for not only for uploading, but for thinking of your subscribers even when you are not that well, I appreciate you the job that you make so much!
wishing you safety and better days!!
seems like we're from the same place. good luck to us with the upcoming years and I hope you and your friends can stay safe.
@@goomee thank you, I bet we'll need it
I’m sending you so much love and strength 💖 I’m glad that my videos can be a happy little escape!
Holy Kim sending you love from the States ❤️
You should totally repeat that challenge! Because I loved it!! That pinafore outfit was adorable.
i am so in love with your tuesday outfit (gingham top, blue shorts, cardigan). so vintage!
The glasses are for her light sensitivity,, she mentions it in a previous video but I can't remember which one 😅
Thank you! They are for migraines, so they’re always a little tinted :) they’ve helped my migraines a LOT so I wear them pretty much always!
Annika Victoria where did they come from and do you like them? I’ve been looking into getting a pair for my migraines.
Alexandria Mount seconded! I didn’t know those were a thing
@@alexandriamount3069
Axon Optics is the brand she uses. I've gotten a pair for outside and they help a lot! Good luck and hope they help you too. ☺️
It was great to get a look at so many things you've made and how you were able to pair them up. And how fun to see your mum & dad!!
I'm in.
Girl I feel you about the anxiety! And I loooooove the white sweater that says "the future is accessible"
Those fork earrings are so heckin cute how'd you make them
This was by far my most favorite video of yours that you have made! And I love that you show yourself going out in your wheelchair. Visibility Love it!
This video made me so homesick. I moved overseas and man do I miss woolies and Australian markets haha.
Rewatching this vid atm and I just now realized, I appreciate it so incredibly much how you say you “changed weight” instead of using “I gained/lost weight”. Im gonna need to impliment that into my own life asap, thats gonna make the weight of such a sentence so much lighter wow.
I'm jealous of your warm weather. yes. warm. I live in Sweden I'm allowed to think 21°C is warm.
This is peaceful to watch while I sew, love ya amiga
This was such a cute and nice video! I loved how you took us around with you and it definitely wasn’t boring when you were laying around. It’s good to take care of yourself and take a rest when needed (which you know already). And it sets a good example I think :)
I also love all the crazy patterns you use on your clothes. Maybe you can incorporate those into fanny packs or sometimes bags as statement pieces? Especially when you want to make some more clothing with subtle or no patterns.
Really loved the style/editing of this video, especially the music choices
Annika, you're aesthetic reminds me of Molly Ringwald in "Pretty in Pink." So gorgeous!
Fantastic idea!! Not only did you get to show off all the wonderful things you’ve made but you got to see what needs to be added to the collection:)
"Its 20 degrees it's pretty cold" Me, a Canadian who wishes I could live in constant 20-30 degree weather: "What do u mean thats cold 20 degrees is like a low summer temperature"
I'm really late to your channel, but you and your mom and your dog are like the cutest people I've ever seen. 💛🌻
This is the best idea, makes me want to make more clothes! Your dad mimixking your pose made me crack up!
@@AnnikaVictoria24 Then I have to try them. Love your videos.
This was fun. I loved your outfits, It's encouraged me to get my handmade wardrobe up to snuff.
“But that’s just my anxiety” honestly I sometimes need to remind myself that when I start getting worried or panicked over nothing.
am i allowed to love a video before even watching it
Love the shorts on Tuesday and Friday ❤️
Giovanni is such a natural at typing! Lol
Of course I understand that the style changes over time and some of this things are 2 years old so that may be the reason why they are not so appealing to you, and if that is the case (not the print itself but the item) you should choose a date to check into your closet and see what did you wear and what you didn't, if something has been 2 years without use you should give it to someone else because your probably are not going to use it again, not just the hand made but all the items, and each year on the same date keep on checking what is older than 2 years, it works just fine for me, and I think it could work for you too
oh my god this such an amazing idea!!! here for it♥️♥️♥️♥️
LOVE that "the future is accessible" sweater! ❤️
Loved this video 😍
May I suggest something for the future: maybe make this a habit, like a day (or a week) per month (or every other month) wearing just your handmade clothes, so you can figure out what you really wear in different temperatures and seasons.
Love you :)
5:12 the pun deserves a like
Im so proud of you!
This was so entertaining to watch and watch you style your handmade pieces!
I dont feel well, but this made it so much better, love u Annika!
I really really looove how you said changed weight instead of lost weight!
Can I just say how great this video was. Also holy heck you have a great handmade wardrobe.
I absolutely loved this whole vlogy style video and would love to see more. That being said, I will absolutely watch anything you post.
Thank you for being amazing and sharing that with all of us.
watching this before school...might be late... but it’s Annika!
super jealous of the "the future is accessible" sweater. the colors are so pretty.
"What's sewing on" I love you.
Ohhhh my gosh. I live in London now and I’m hardly ever homesick but seeing u around the inner west!!! My heart!! 💔
Ciarda MacMahon armpit pockets?
Yea like in the sleeve. But there is no sleeve.
the pinafore dress!!! i’m gonna be making my first skirt using your half circle skirt method, and if i like it, making a pinafore dress is immediately after that. thanks for making the world of sewing much less intimidating. the future is accessible and we’re gonna own it 💛
This video is super inspiring. But you have been super inspiring. I have started making so many of my clothes because of you.
You look soooo tall in the supermarket part... I always assumed you were shorter for some reason
Woke up from a shitty nightmare and watched this to calm down and was enlightened in the process!!! I wanna really start making my own clothes x
Nice video Annika! Your videos always put me in a good mood, thank you ♡
Honestly your sewing videos are the only ones I can follow.
hey! i was wondering if you could give us some tips about keeping your workspace tidy and organized. i’m chronically ill/physically disabled so i get really tired easy and end up just leaving projects wherever they are when i get tired, and i know that you can relate to some of that. if you do thank you!! and even if you dont thank you!!! your videos always make me happy and inspired
I have that same issue. I'm not as sick as I used to be but it still takes me forever to get the energy to clean/organize.
Amber Chicosky yeah!! and i’ve yet to find a good system where it keeps things even remotely tidy
Your Mom is too cute! Thank you for this video, dear! Great DIY look book/vlog!
If it was even 15 degrees Celsius in England people would be out in crop tops and shorts
Lcst Boy I saw a bloke wearing shorts recently in my local patch when it was 8 degrees out. Madness.
I dunno maybe it has to do with humidity/wind. Living in the country where it's cold for most part of the year we're not really "used to it". 20-25°C is perfect range.
OMG I love that food market. I don’t get to go often as I don’t live in Sydney ☹️
I think we need a dedicated handmade wardrobe tour!
marcie frey oh! I should do that! Thanks for the suggestion :D maybe I can go through it and talk about what I really like and what I will keep etc
Marcel Wilson-Lynch I'm in my second year of uni so I usually carry my backpack around, it just gets cumbersome when I have a backpack, one or more instrument cases /and/ a purse
I treat it more like an extra pocket than anything else
@@superhpfan00 I can understand that. Not everyone likes big bags
Don’t listen to your anxiety, Annika. I know all too well that putting on a brave face and over exerting yourself to make your public persona more riveting can only lead to consequence. Live your life how YOU want and need, don’t worry about manufacturing it for us.
