- How do you find the right movie to watch? Tommy Block has a unique method of categorizing films that allows you to learn a little about yourself.
Tommy has been a movie fanatic from day one. Every day he looks to consolidate his experiences and ideas through the concepts, techniques, and structures of cinema. He maintains Block Review, his Facebook page in which he critiques movies, old and new, and shares what makes them important for readers as movie lovers and as people.

I used to watch movies once a week and its just pure escapism. Somehow I learn but I just do it to escape this reality.
Tell me what is the point of escaping reality, if reality comes back as soon as you are done with the movie.
It's like taking a break for a while not escaping permanently.
@@nati8065 what is the point of living like if we are going to die one day
Life have ups and downs so movie some time useful then meditation exercises some times not everytime
@@maryaileencresino7347 I agree with you
I dont fully understand the point of the presentation, and I feel he needs more practice. However, I'm sure he will become a great speaker, and I appreciate him puting the movies into groups.
Watched this so that I dont feel bad about myself watching tv shows all day. For a year now.
Intresting speech! Keep on improving and I'm sure that you can get far.
love this speech brother keep it up
Great♥♥
even though, you have grouped them, the movies into categories. but I still can find difficult to understand the content all and the explanation given by the presenter is too short. I think the language used in this presentation is a bit informal and hard to take an example to such as us, foreigner, especially Chinese people, it is really hard to demonstrate to us.
besides, some of the viewpoints given by the presenter are acceptable instead of reasonably acceptable. it is because when I arguably wonder by myself the presenter's talks, I think we really are hazy with some negative or some remarkable commentaries.
for example, presenter advises us to watch some movies because of the peers among us talk some phrase which appears on a screen of the cinema. From my perspective, this kind of movies is only entertaining movies and some of these movies are innutrition movies. I will continue next time.....
What's the deeper point of this?
1:30 "because I'm nice" he should not have broken the 4th wall like that. now he brings into question his entire character and motives.
