Hi Greg, is it possible to have 2 monitors running at the same time? Im trying to have it that one monitor output has sonarworks on it (in my studio), while a second monitor output going to a clarity M. (I'm trying to avoid using Clarity M's vst plugin connection because I want it to receive a summed signal from other machines). Am hoping there's a way to get this working in control room, rather than having to sort out additional sends in all my projects!
Hi Greg, I wish you would of included a segment on setting up the Monitors via any random interface to show the application when running more than one set of speakers even for those of us which have one Mono speaker such as a avantone speaker. But glad we have someone like you to educate us. Thanks Cheers Bruce :-)
It took me some years to finally switch on control room and get acquainted with it, but now I wouldn’t want to miss it. There are some pitfalls though, especially the metronome listen switch in the CR can be really confusing when you don’t know about it (i think Greg already did a video about that topic).
Hi Greg, or anyone else reading this that can help?? The tutorial is great from a software point of view but the physical hardware connections got me stumped. Do you need multiple audio interfaces? How can I connect several speakers to the same audio interface?
Hi Greg. I was always thinking of use Cubase monitor select as I use my Presonus Central Station. But they in Steinberg have never made possible to have number of monitors alternating(as it is) plus possibilitie to engage one sub monitor separately to use with any pair of monitors. I can only connect combination of one pair of monitors as satellites with sub. But that way I can use sub only with one pair of speakers. Or is there some other way to enable sub independently of alternating A B C D monitors? If you have an idea please let me know. I think I am not the only one interested to use Cubase control room that way. Thanks for all your videos.
Still got to engage a separate a/b switch on my hardware as sound coming out both sets of speakers ? When I click A spkr, great, ( control room stereo 1/2 ) when I click B/speakers ( control room stereo output 3/4 ) no output . will be out put if I use physical switch on my hardware ? looks like Greg only connected speaker to one set of monitors as far as I could see, what did I miss ?
Control Room is the single most useful feature in Cubase Pro. But variaudio is also awesome!

Thank you Greg. I can now see how powerful the control room is. Now to save for a multi out soundcard.

Very helpful - thanks, Greg.
Your SOFTWARE demo is nice however, i and I am sure others would like to see your HARDWARE connection for your software application.

Does the CONTROL ROOM, has a higher (other) latency then when using 'Outputs'?
How do we change the font size of menus? It's hard for me to read stuff on this laptop.

Check out a couple of cool controllers for your control room here ua-cam.com/video/E5Th0jrEDbQ/v-deo.html
This looks like Cubase 9, not 9.5. 'Devices' has been renamed to 'Studio' in 9.5.
Hi, yes this video was recorded with Cubase Pro 9.
