Thank you everyone for your comments and heartfelt support for Arthur and for me. I sincerely appreciate your being here today. Because of the thousands of combined comments I’m getting on my conversations it has become impossible for me to answer all of your kind and heartfelt posts. Please know that I read each and every one and I am grateful for you and your sharing of support and thoughts. Love, Sandra
I sincerely wish all goes as well as possible for you once Arthur is back home with you. I'm sure it won't always be easy, but you are a VERY strong woman. You are a delight to listen to, and boy is red your color, you look amazing!
You are so inspiring even when you are going through challenges in your life.God bless you and stand strong in the storm.PS, you look very beautiful in red.😊💛
We are never alone in our walk through life when we have Jesus as our guide. He said in the Bible that He will never leave us nor forsake us. He guides us through these dark valleys. When we are weak He is strong! He says in Isaiah 41:10 “Fear not, for I am with you. Be not dismayed for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes I will help you. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand! And He does!!!!! All we need to do is ask Him!
This message of acceptance is what I needed to hear first thing this morning. Both of my adult sons are missing from my life again. I don't know if they're alive or dead. It is hard not to live in fear when the worst news may come at any time. I cannot control their choices. If I want to continue to live I must instead focus on the goodness and beauty in my own life.
I am so happy that this conversation may have met something to you. I am saddened that you have lost your relationship with your two sons. I hope you won’t give up because there’s always tomorrow and we never know what that may bring. I’ll be thinking of you and praying that they are safe
Mary Ann my heart tugs for you 💙. I know that pain and I put those relationships on the altar before God every morning praying to bless them & lead them. Nothing is impossible for Him. Keep looking up as you're still here with us walking into tomorrow. Blessings and love 💕🙏.
Sandra our little talk this morning is so healing. My first husband was seven years older than I and he died after 48 years of marriage with health issues. I often thought of the difference of our relationship late in life and what it was in earlier years. The Lord blessed me 13 years ago with a wonderful man. He was 5 years younger than I. He passed December 26, 2021. Another life change that I know I will accept and adjust to. I am 83 as you are and acceptance, faith and perseverance is key to going on. I was very privileged to be caregiver for the closing years of two wonderful men and I don’t regret one minute. It was not a movie ending for sure. But, I’m on this road and where God leads me I will follow. I so enjoyed talking with you this morning. I know I’m not alone with the same thoughts you shared. So love our chats.
Hi Sandra, I know I’m not your target audience - I’ve recently entered my late 40s - but you are such an inspiration to me. You’re so encouraging in growing wiser with maturity and grace. May God give you the strength for the chapter you’re entering with Arthur.
Greetings from NY! We are in the doldrums of Winter now and it is challenging to keep sunshine in our hearts. However, I am grateful to have a wonderful husband who is 13 years my senior. As you said, when we were younger, I never thought much about it. One day at a time. Looking forward to Spring and as always, new content from you. Your smiling face and brave, thoughtful approach to life is very comforting to me and all of your audience. Take good care.
So life doesn’t look as ideal as I thought. Only my husband is just 5 years older than I. I am 61. He is in a study for early onset Alzheimer’s and although things are relatively fine now, our future is tenuous. I can’t help but worry for both of us, but he seems to be able to go with the flow a bit better than I am able. I am trying to give it to G-d and “let it be”, but I can’t help but wonder what is in store for us, and for me. I am sure that sounds selfish, but I have been a caretaker of our parents for most of my adult life and although I don’t regret a moment of it, I thought I would be able to exhale. I am more introverted, so it can be hard for me. I appreciate this channel so much. Thanks for letting me have someone to have coffee with in the morning. Peace. Let it be. ✨🕊✨
I am in the same place as you are Gloria. I feel as though I’ve been a caretaker my whole life. Take a day at a time and live with love and gratitude. You are not selfish
@@lifewithsandrahart You are so kind to take the time to personally respond Sandra. As I walked this morning, I asked the wind to free me of negativity and gave thanks for being able to feel the breeze on my skin. Sending strength to us all. ❤️
I find that trusting God and accepting HIS will for my life is the key to this journey. The pain, the joy, even the mistakes (especially the mistakes), ALL must be accepted knowing that this spiritual journey is a temporary one. I just hope my soul has learned what it needed to learn here when I leave. That I have loved and accepted the other souls that shared this journey with me. For those that I have loved who have transitioned before me, I hope my being with them made their journey easier to cross over and go home! I am accepting it all!! Thank you God!
I am 89 and have been watching you for a long time. I am a widow since four years ago after being married 65 years and four children. I remember Romper Room. I take care of my 50 year old son Jeffrey who is Down Syndrome and the light of my life. My children all help me so I am so fortunate. your visit today was such an inspiration to me. I never know what will happen or when I might loose Jeff but I live each day as happy and fulfilled as I can. Thank you for your message today. I have so enjoyed your videos with Arthur so much. With love for both of you.
Hello Sandra! Thanks for your soothing voice, common sense, and for sharing what’s happening in your beautiful life! Your special demeanor is calming in a world gone mad....🌹
Your statement that Arthur is no longer the man you married really echoes a statement I’ve made many times during the recent years with my husband - who is also 14 years my senior. I’ve come to recognize that he’s the man I’m married to, and I’m also his caretaker. He’s now in hospice and our journey together is nearing its end. I can’t tell how much I appreciate this video. Your healthy love filled approach brings me much comfort and I hope your knowing that there are others out here in similar situations helps you as well. May the times you and Arthur have ahead of you be good and I’ll leave with this…i have a sign in the kitchen reminding me to put the fun in dysfunctional and I’ve come daily to understand that the only part of my life I can control is my attitude towards and acceptance of events as they unfold. At my age I have little time to waste on negative emotions like self pity, recriminations or anger. I’ve used up my measure of those - that bucket is pretty much empty. You’ve helped me so much. Thank you for being here for me. ❤️
I’m 66 now learning from you both, had a bike Accident, use to do Yoga was fitt, now a Brocken Hand much want rung and I have to live and be happy only my left hand is not working, but I see worse people after a Accident in a wheelchair! We have to be thankful for what is!I understand you both my husband dyed in a Bike accident, never thinking I’m some day alone!Bless you both, you wonderful! 🙏💜🙏 🌹😘😘
Thro this life, I've learned to "Let Go & Let God". It makes it so much easier/peaceful/acceptance of what is. My walk in Jesus helps me to ask for his help/unconditional love. I'm so grateful/blessed ! I wish this for all who is reading this. Have a blessed day !
My dear Sandra, this has been a therapy session to your community. Your infectious optimism encourages; Your faith inspires; and your message of acceptance speaks to our hearts at any stage of our life. Today is a new day, possibly a new season for most of us, however, we should be courageously embracing life as it unfolds with faith in God and a determination to live each day to the fullest. You embody what aging gracefully truly looks like. For allowing your gifts and talents to be used in such a rewarding way, thank you. Never lose your hope, your joy and your bigger purpose in life. We really need the ray of sunshine you bring to our lives. Maya Angelou said be a rainbow in someone's sky. Thanks for being that rainbow for us today. God bless you Sandra. ❤️😇🌻
Dearest Sandra, as every evening here I am going through the archives of your videos and I profoundly feel connected with the way you analyzed the changes you are experiencing at this time of your life, definitely a difficult period that as time passes will become more complex. All I could say,is that I do hope you were able to find the way to go through all the changes, ( honesty, all the punches) life throws and remember you are not alone, we all have a story to share, and the support we all give to each other is a gift from the universe. Thank you so much…and I do hope everything just work out for the best… many blessings
Thank you so much Sandra for our talk today. Your strength and courage is such an inspiration to me, as are the tears you cry in secret. My husband is also much older than I. A person who was once tall and strong is now frail and bent. He tries to do all the things he once did, but I can see that we may soon have to leave our country home . He sleeps a lot, and sometimes I just lay beside him, grateful I can hear the soft sound of his breathing. My heart is with you and Arthur.
Thank you so very much for shearing so lovingly these very intimate thoughts. You remind me of that prayer. "God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change..." I hope one day to reach that serenity that you have achieved. Blessings to you.
Wow so many layers to what you have shared today. I needed to hear all of them. I believe that God puts people in our path at exactly the right time and this especially true for me today.Thank you for sharing such a personal walk with us. So many of us need mentoring from a person who is wise and willing to share and be transparent about the struggles of life and you are a treasure Sandra. You’ve given me many things to think about today.Blessings to you and Arthur as you move forward through this life that you share together.
Sara, Thank you so much for being here and appreciating the reality and full disclosure of what life throws many of us. We all have hills and valleys but it’s how we approach them that matters
@@deidreireson9166 you are so kind!Melbourne Australia… Wow I can only imagine what a beautiful place that is! Hello from snowy Michigan as we are getting a foot of snow today!
Glad Author is coming home. My sister is 83 and she is a care give to her husband of 86 . I don’t live close to she now. So I don’t get to see her much . You remind me of her so much . I have been so blessed to have found you here and it is so comforting. To see you .
While watching your channel, I feel healing. The dust particles start to slow down, tranquility is spreading around me and life awakening is taking place.
Sandra you are very important to me. I have always sought out mentors for the next phase of my life, in books, movies or online, and you and Jane Goodall are my mentors now. I am not quite 70, but you and Jane are modeling the 70s and 80s I want. Purposeful, graceful, beautiful, active. Thank you for being a trailblazer for me.
I am blessed that I stumbled across you here today, Easter Sunday, and it’s a chilly, cloudy day on the south east coast of rural Italy, I’ve had the freedom to binge watch lots of your videos! You have unknowingly lifted my 65yr old spirit today! I thank you 🙏 Sandra, you are a very special Lady❤️ I send much love to you and Arthur as you navigate this next phase of your lives …
Welcome Karen and Happy Easter. I’m so touched that you found me here and are enjoying our conversations. Thanks so very much for sharing your thoughts and being here today.
Such a good message Sandra (my name is Sandra too). My husband was 11 almost 12 years older than me, he passed away seven years ago and in the last year of his life he started changing mentally and emotionally. He didn’t have Alzheimer’s or dementia but he was not the same person and he was not happy. I can very much relate to what you’re going to be facing when Arthur comes back. I wish you peace and patience and from following you I know you are very patient person, I was not, and I have regrets about that, but….
Another timely message Sandra! Thank you for opening your heart and sharing your words of wisdom! 🙏 I've made some videos myself, so I know how hard it is to talk into the little camera hole openly and sincerely as though you were talking to a friend. You are a MASTER of that! You visualize all of us here on the other side of the camera so well, that I really do feel as though I was listening to my wonderful aunt over a cup of coffee. 😍 Thanks again for your videos! I love them, please keep them coming.
Sandra tonight was the first time I seen your video. I thank the good Lord he brought you to me. Your insight and compassion shows the beauty of your character and your joy of sharing your life heart soul to us. I partner is younger then me. He has health issues as well as I. Each day the journey changes the paths of life’s good or bad. I try to make the best I can and struggle on hoping for what lies ahead of my journey. Thank you and you are a beautiful angel and beautiful soul.
Sandra Acceptance and gratitude does truly help us get through change... Thank you for the reminder.... Authur and you will navigate your way forward ... It will be good days and not so good days... We all know you are a courageous woman.... Keep up the good work. We love you.x💗💗💗💗💥
The Lord will "carry you" through this time... HE will be your best friend, HE will be your strength, HE will lead you and guide you. day by day. Arthur is Blessed to have you. And you were Bessed by God to have had Arthur in your life for many great years together. You will continue to be Arthur's Light in His day. We know this isn't easy for you, but you will get through this. Remember to take time for yourself in each day and lean on God for your strength and THE LORD WILL BE THERE WITH you, every step of the way. Thank you for your wonderful videos. You are a Blessing to so many who watch your videos and all your video friends will be holding you up in our prayers.
Oh my.. I was afraid you were going to say you were going to stop your channel.. 🥺. Sandra, Thank you for your grace, your attitude and your friendship. Please do stay safe and God bless🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
Sandra, I'm divorced (thankfully), I'm 68, and was the caregiver for my father for the last 5 years of his life. He passed about 6 years ago at the age of 96. He was not the man I remember as a child. In his demented state he was all kinds of odd things, mostly not nice. Dementia removes the filters that most of us use to navigate through life. Dementia leaves the raw nature exposed. My thought has been that if we haven't done the honest work in and for ourselves, the raw part is not so nice. All that to say, whatever happens, try not to take it personal, and try to get some outside caregivers for assistance and much needed respite. It will not be easy. Respite is very important. ❤
Watching you makes my day more thoughtful and focused on the progression of my life. I was widowed at 55 and now turning 60. Time to pay attention to me and the joy I want to feel as I age.
Dear Sandra...What beautiful words for all of us to hear. Change...I remember reading this when I was young...People change with time. Time changes people. I thought the sentences were repetitive...but as I got older, I can understand the difference between the them. Ahhh...The Road Not Taken...that's a standby for me with my 6th graders. It tell them to write down what it means to them now...I have each put the letter to self in an envelope...and I tell them to address it to their future selves...at least 12-15 years from now. I hope they do. Blessings!
As a teacher, Carol, what a wonderful idea and gift to give to your student. I hope the other teachers in our community will take your idea and play it forward to their students.
Morning, I know the feeling. I lost my husband 7months ago and my life has changed so so much. Yes, I miss him but what can I do ? I saw him till death do us part. He was my first love , I cared for him in good health and ill , cancer too him away. The good Lord gave me so much strength I don't know where I got it from , only the Lord. We had 5 children in all professionals , darling with me , but they have their own lives. Yes, iam alone at home. Iam in good health, Praise the lord, but for how long? 71yrs young. Love your videos , keep it up. Blessings to you and Auther.. TUTTI. Please stay beautiful 😍
Thank you for sharing your loss with us. I know how difficult that must’ve been for you. We are all stronger than we believe we are and we are still here for a reason. You still have much life to live ahead of you in this next chapter.
My husband has changed and we are still together although some days are harder than others. He is so angry and unhappy - he misses his career and this is part of the anger. He is aging very poorly and refuses to accept he is 79 and not as handsome and vital as he once was, neither am I! We must forgive and pray. Yes love and gratitude. God is with you both! 😊🙏
My husband is 70 and has given up. Misses teaching and is so unhappy and depressed. Sitting has gotten him in a weakened state. Started PT but it will be a long haul. He can't drive and we live rural so I am his helper. He dried out from drinking 2 weeks ago but so many other issues to solve. I am trying to not be angry because it only hurts me more. One day at a time here and luckily I have 2 sons who support me fully. But 2 hours away. I have to live this and cry alot. Thank you for helping me see acceptance. Hard when you realize after just 24 years together 2 people can be so different. Hoping I can persevere.
@@52janethatcher Prayers are with you. I do understand although my husband does not have substance abuse. I have a man that was fun-loving but not now. What has helped our chocolate lab puppy. He walks her & that activity has been very helpful in training. He needs this interest. 😊💕🙏
Sandra, I just turned 25 last Saturday, and my life has changed drastically in the past 3 months. My boyfriend of two years broke up with me, I had to move back in with my dad, my 15 year old dog passed away, and I quit my job as a Pre-K teacher to begin my dream of being a full time artist. Your videos are so wonderful. Everything you have to say is helping not only me, but I’m sure many other women. Thank you so much for posting these. Love, Hannah
I was 46 when my husband and I realized that our relationship was not the same anymore. We too had a big age difference, but in our case, he was younger. He had been drinking for the previous 3 or 4 years quite heavily and generally was very whiny about his life. Regardless of that, it was extremely difficult for me to accept that we shouldn't be together anymore (that was his desire). Only in the process of our divorce, I started seeing that he really was not the same person I married and loved all these years. I was really struck by the difference and by the fact that I didn't see it earlier! It actually helped me a lot in getting over the divorce when I saw that that was a stranger and that I wouldn't marry that man if I met him now. But it was extremely difficult for me to let go of the man he used to be and that I loved so much and was happy with(((. I'm still not over it completely.
I completely understand your relationship with your ex-husband and you are not unusual. This happens so often in a marriage. I am so glad that you shared this with all of us today that you have moved on in your life
Your community messages are always so heartfelt and down to earth. This one in particular was especially compassionate and one in which I shared with my sister, who is undergoing some challenges of late. Often I don’t have just the right words for her… but you have expressed them perfectly. Thank you so much Sandra. With appreciation from Southern California.
Sandra you doing this lovly talking 5 years !! A find you 2022 January !!!! So lovly wathing you and wishing you many many lovely years 🤗❤️ Very sweet and nice to see, and listening how aging.. So lovely and understanding you how dilling with your loved Arthur with aging…🤗
Thank you for your loving testimonials. It has encouraged me so much as I travel in my 70's. 71 in March. I've accepted my white hair, growing it out now. Another lady, out of the blue, at the wellness center I exercise at, raved to me about how gorgeous it looked blended with the rest which still was dyed blond/brown. It made my day. We all need to encourage others in our walk . I watch the sun rise each morning and thank God for a new day even if it's cloudy.Blessings.
Excellent video. You’re so wise and I admire you immensely. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and personal situation with us. My thoughts are with you and your husband.
Sandra, your recent videos in which you share what’s going on with Arthur have really hit home for me. And that includes the last interview with Arthur. In early December I lost my 95 year old father to Alzheimer’s. To say it wasn’t easy for his wife is an understatement. She is 85. I am very thankful that although her health isn’t perfect she was able to care for him as long as possible. It was hard too to see him cry when he found himself unable to remember things or when he did remember that he had acted in a hurtful way to his wife. It is a terrible disease. Until his decline my father was working on the computer, doing crossword puzzles every morning, writing emails to me and my sister. He had been physically fit with no health problems. You are an inspiration to all of us. And you and Arthur are and have been in my thoughts.
Lynda, thank you so much for sharing the history of your father with us. It is such a journey that is so difficult for those who are around the Alzheimer patient. I took care of Arthur‘s mother and I know how difficult that was even though I was much younger at the time. I know whatever challenges I will be facing I will try to do it with his watch love and gratitude as I can. Thank you very much for sharing again
Sandra sorry to hear about Arthur God will be with you as you approach a new chapter with Arthur and he will guide you an ARTHUR THREW a new chapter in life I know how challenging chapters are I have had to deal with a few I know God helped me with the changes I love all of the videos you have done I have learned from them at the age of 74 God bless you an Arthur from Pennsylvania
I enjoyed your heartfelt message today. I’ve been alone now for over 30 years. Twice married, I never thought I’d be alone in my senior years. Listening to you inspires me to keep on keeping on and don’t lose hope for the future. Happy to hear that Arthur will be returning to Miami, albeit, maybe not the same Arthur who left months ago. Acceptance is the key to staying strong and you inspire me to stay strong.💕
Hello Sandra... I really enjoyed this video. Couldnt help getting a bit emotional. True what u say..lm married for 41 years nd seen the changes taking place... I also feel that my hubby is not the same man l married. But you carry on and life teaches us to accept. May the All Mighty grant you strength to deal with whatever is coming your way. Your a strong lady just love you to bits. Keep smiling nd have a great day.
People change, I am sure that you are not the same person either. Marriage requires compromise, respect and love. I certainly wouldn't want to be the person that I was 40 years ago!
Thank you for sharing your kind heart. I am 75 and neither I or my husband are the same. Life gives you blessings and curve balls but life is a gift to live and learn from. Aging is truly a challenging time and difficult to navigate. I too am doing my best to be grateful and happy. Love your wise talks and love that red top you have on. You are aging beautifully and so much wisdom.
Sandra, thank you for this video. I've been a fan for a while now. Your channel has uplifted so many with the sharing and information all relevant to women in their 60 plus years. I've watched it with great interest. We have enjoyed Arthur and have respect for his privacy in the remaining years. I had a love affair of 52 years with my husband who passed away last August at 82. He died suddenly just short of our 50th anniversary and was 10 years older than me. We went through all the stages of our life together, energetically and with humor. We had the benefit of living in Florida 17 winters and still living in our family house in Massachusetts the rest of the year. We had to work part time jobs in both places to do that so we never retired. That had the benefit of stimulation and interaction. I have supportive sons. I am faced with personal choices and decisions now but I've chosen my attitude and am doing fantastically well considering I move forward alone. I'm a happy woman and still have ideas and dreams to pursue. And I encourage others. I know you will face new circumstances with the same grace that you offer us on a regular basis. Take care of you, too. We cheer you on. xoxo
Hi Sandra. Thank you so much for having me on the journey with you. You don't know how much it has meant. I have learned so much from you and realize no matter how old I get there is room for more knowledge, more help in accepting things. I pray that you stay well and safe. And Arthur still has a fan base here. My husband and I just loved watching his birthday video. Life has changed along the road through the years but somehow I forgot I would keep getting older. But I appreciate so much the help you give. It's so nice to have a friend here that I truly respect. Wishing you all the very best. Hugs Shelley
This is so powerful. Acceptance, faith and perseverance. To accept the things we cannot change, courage to change the things we can and wisdom to know the difference. Bless you both Sandra. Much love from across the pond 🇬🇧😘
Sandra, as usual, my heart goes out to you and I admire you so much. I have written before, but my Bill was 11 years older than I. He was so wonderful, always cheerful and funny and loved life. We shared everything including 22 trips to Switzerland to hike. He had Alzheimer’s for the last 10 years of his life and died in 2019. The first and most difficult thing I faced was acceptance of his disease, which increased over the years. As I worked through that, I began to learn gratitude for all the good things we still had, and new things that we could look at with humor and thankfulness. It wasn’t easy, and I jus looked back on a journal of mine and was amazed to see how difficult it was. Bur gratitude and faith helped me through it and now the best things remain. Our little 14 year old toy poodle died 3 weeks before Bill did, and I had to know they were romping together at the Rainbow Bridge with Mindy well and happy to be with him, and Bill remembered who she was and was delighted! I loved your talk this morning and it helps me to know I am building a positive life, remembering the happiness we had which enriches my life daily, and treasuring my new little (challenging!) toy poodle - the light of my life. I hope this helps you in some way but I am praying for you and send lots of love! Nancy Decker
Dear Sandra, thank you so much for your wisdom and sharing with us. Of course sending good thoughts to your husband too. I always look forward to watching your videos. 💝
Once again thank you so much Sandra for your Wisdom your kindness and your Love. If I feel sad because life can be so challenging and difficult at times and I stop to watch your videos .. they lift me up and I feel hopeful again and I can see that even when life is so difficult I still have beauty and harmony around me through blessed Nature and music and books and the kind smile of a stranger passing by .. thank you again again for caring, for your kindness and for sharing your Wisdom with all of us. I wish you and Arthur the best always Much Love and Blessings 🙏❤️🌸
Acceptance of choices...thank you! I'm touched by your honestly about your husband. I'm 70 and about to move into my new home only own. I appreciate your food for thought.
I will be thinking of you and Arthur as you navigate through this new challenging life path. Bless you for having the wisdom to accept this new caregiver roll with grace and love. 🙏🏻❤️
Oh my. Gratitude and acceptance. So important and so difficult at times. I have been married for 50 years this coming May. We married in our very early 20s. So we have basically grown up together. We are the extreme opposite personalities. And in the beginning, that was exciting. But over the years, it has created many many challenges, to say the least. And now in my 70s, I have stopped struggling with the many differences and try daily to accept and be grateful that we are still here!
Sandra, I am 29 years old and currently going through a divorce - our hearing is set for May 11th and I have been dying inside. I was crying just now while listening to your talk about acceptance and new chapters. What a timely message this was for me! It was just what I needed to hear today. Change is scary, but acceptance allows us to cope and to grow gracefully as we navigate the various chapters of our lives. I am slowly beginning to accept that this chapter must close before a new chapter can begin. Thanks for blessing my soul once again with your words of wisdom, sweet lady. You are such an asset to our society and an inspiration to so many - what a gem! You are a queen and more. Blessings to you and yours. 💛
I’m so sorry to hear what you’re going through, but trust me, there are wonderful chapters in your life still ahead of you. This is just the end of one. Remember that you are so worthy of all good things in life and be open to except the best that is yet to come your way. Close the door and don’t look back, but walk forward into your new life. Best of luck to you
Sandra I loved your message today. I’m married for 55 years and known my husband about 60 years. So we already walked a lifetime together. I must say, like everyone, we had our up and downs I never thought that we will be so blessed and happy as we have been after so many years then. 12 years ago he had opened heart surgery for a bypassed for 4 veins I really thought he would not make it. We all went through a tuff time. Thanking God he made it. He became fit and well again. Last year he was diagnosed with Dementia! I’m still fighting to accept it is true and it can’t be stopped. My hope is in God that He will carry us Through and be with us. You must have a lovely day and Thankyou for being on UA-cam and that I can listening to your messages✨🕊🙌
You are handling these changes with fierce grace and you are amazing.Arthur is lucky to have your love-even if it is a different love than you imagined. I have been with my husband who is mentally ill (borderline personality disorder) for 20 years and we just built me a little cottage down the hill from his cabin as he is impossible and toxic for me to live with.I was getting physically ill-stroke high blood pressure from living with someone who was always screaming and angry. My nervous system is going to take a long time to recover. Practice a lot of self care and get respite care for yourself in these days or months ahead Sandra.
Sandra life changes so quickly. You are a strong woman and know you are never alone with all of us listening. Arthur coming back to Florida will bring challenges but the warmth of the sunshine should help his spirit to lift. He may be able to walk his little dog but know that you may need to call in some assistance otherwise you will could become sick trying to take care of him yourself. This is not selfish but instead a reality of life. My thoughts are with you Sandra. 😎❤️💄Kathy
O, Sandra, your refreshing honesty helps so much in these days of unprecedented stress and confusion. So many are experiencing unexpected challenges and issues that we feel unprepared for and can be quite overwhelmed as we step into uncharted territory. It helps so much to listen to your views, to hear your voice and have you open your heart to us. Somehow it seems most of us were thinking life would become easier and more pleasant as we became older. I didn’t t even give getting older much thought, to be honest. It is quite revealing to discover that older age truly, “isn’t for sissies “ as the saying goes. Thank you, darling person, for being your very real and precious self. I think that watching several of your past videos will be of great help on these cold snowy days.
Dear Sandra:) After ur beautiful chat with us today I read all the comments and was so happy to know that with all the precious advice and wisdom you have shared with us ~so many of ur subscribers are truly concerned and send much support and love to you. Your on a new path and treat it like a new adventure ~keep being the lovely woman you are~and get help and take time for you as well. Love you bunches 😊💕♥️💙💜💛💖💗💚
Thank you for your transparency and for sharing your life. I'm 53 and love your content. I pray to be blessed to reach a riper old age. Praying that you and Arthur will still be able to enjoy each other.
Hard times for you and Arthur, I realize. I have no words for you that you most likely haven’t heard before. We will always remain Arthur’s fans. The main reason for me is the pride he showed when talking with and about you. I have been caregiving for my Dad the last seven years. He is 92. My patience level with him is alright some days and exhausted on other days. He considers himself independent, by the way. I guess my unsolicited advice would be to leave the house daily, even for half an hour. I think that helps. Accept help when genuinely offered by friends and acquaintances. You can always “complain” to us if it will help. No one can be a saint every day under these circumstances. All best wishes.
Dear always graceful and elegant Sandra ,what a special lady you are .Gratitude is key for sure and you don’t have to like things to accept them I know from experience It’s good hearing how you are doing and Arthur . Sending you lots of love from here in France as I know many of your friends Worldwide are doing the same Always be kind to yourself Sandra Mel xx
Dear Sandra, what a brave woman you are, wise and modest, no doubt both you and Arthur have chosen the right path. Thank you for what you are, you make me and all of us here remember what is important, really important, Sending love to you all
Yes, we are taking this journey together. In my marriage if 50 years, to my husband he is not the same man I married, I too am dealing with acceptance. I pray that God, continues to bless us with strength, gratitude, and love 💕 May God continue to bless your husband Arthur, in all he does. Thank you, Sandra, for your empowering words of wisdom.
So glad that Arthur will be coming back soon. Even in your 80's my husband says "she's still beautiful." Thanks for letting us watch a part of your life.
You are an beautiful soul! Aging and changes in our lives are a difficult season. God bless you both as you travel this road! May you keep the Lord close, the peace and love will follow. ❤
Thank you, Sandra. So good to be reminded we are not alone. I'm grateful for the gift of poetry, which I'd not been giving to myself lately, even thought it is so easy to take a moment and read a beloved poem...feeds the spirit! The Road Less Traveled is a favorite.
Sandra, I’m glad we had this conversation today. Life has a way of blindsiding us with the unexpected. Situations pop up from around a corner that we could never have imagined, let alone are left to live with. Your subscribers/friends are walking with you.
Sandra I jus t love you and I am a new fan you give me courage and positivity hope and not alone God put you here for all of us to enjoy prayers sending the angles of strength to you and happiness. Thank you
Sandra, thank you so, so much for sharing your insight and experience during stage of life. It is incredibly valuable! Until I discovered your channel, I hadn’t found this type of forthright discussion on these critical issues for aging women, and I am so grateful to you and your willingness to be candid! Sending you much love through the ethers, my dear sage. 🥰
Thank you so much for your encouraging words. My situation is very much like what you describe .I am 83 and my husband is 85.We have been married 51 yeas.I had my 3children when we married .One year later we had one child together. We have traveled over a lot of roads some good and some pretty bad.Because of our love for our Lord GOD Almghty we have survived. At this point we are in a very stressful situation. My husband was diagnosed with dementia.and has moved into a private world of self serving his own desires. He fights with everyone who tries to help us with chores and improvements around the house. We have reached a point of no return and I am at a place where I’m not sure where.Thank you for your time.Blessings on you my sister
Mary, I understand. My mother-in-law had the same thing and I took care of her. She became aggressive and paranoid. We finally had to put her in a place where she could get better care than we could give her. I struggled with the decision to do it, but it was the best thing for her. Now Arthur is not good either. His short term memory is going and is temperamental. I’m hoping he doesn’t get any worse because I’m able to care for him now. My prayers for strength are coming your way. .
Sandra, this little talk we had today was so “on time”. Acceptance! You are such an example! My husband has an early dementia diagnosis and yes our life has completely changed. With this and a pandemic, it is tough accepting and staying positive. You have been a help with your encouragement! Thanks for sharing uplifting thoughts and honesty about the things you have to accept! Attitude! Attitude! Attitude! Gets us through the tough time! 😉
Sandra: You and Arthur are Very Good People. I am glad that you found each other. Thank You and Love from Jan
You and Arthur are in all our Prayers Sandra. Hoping for the best for y'all.🙏🙏🙏
Hi Sandra I understand what you are saying, it is hard and I wish you and Arthur the best God bless you both.♥️
You are so inspiring even when you are going through challenges in your life.God bless you and stand strong in the storm.PS, you look very beautiful in red.😊💛
It is a privilege that you include us in your journey. May there be joy for all us as we walk together.
Hello how're you doing today hope you and your family are safe due to the covid 19 pandemic?
I have been watching you everyday for 4 days, thank you for helping me thru my depression that I'm going thru right now. Thank you.
Your messages are powerful. Very thankful for each one!
Mary I know exactly how you feel my daughter has done the same to me and broke my heart. Live your life honey as I try and do as life is so short x
Sending big hugs & love to you dear Mary..i am so sorry to hear about your son's, but please take care of yourself..xx❤
You are absolutely Beautiful!!!!!!!!! Blessings!
Thank you so much for your very poignant and powerful comment about your two husbands and your life with them. It has helped me very much
Beautifully said. ❤
You a special woman with great strength and love, thank you for sharing.
A lovely letter Joyce......xx
Thank you so much for sharing your story ❤️
Oooo gratitude is everything ! Thank you !
Hello 👋how're you doing today hope you're safe over there?
Hi Sandra, I know I’m not your target audience - I’ve recently entered my late 40s - but you are such an inspiration to me. You’re so encouraging in growing wiser with maturity and grace. May God give you the strength for the chapter you’re entering with Arthur.
Thank you so very much Marnie. I really appreciate your being here in support of what I and probably others are going through right now
I'm 50... I totally look forward to her videos too... helps me...
I am in my late forties and look forward to these chats.
I'm also in my late 40's, and I want to soak up all of the wonderful wisdom she freely gives out. I can only pray that I'm like her in my 80's!
Today is my 30’s birthday . I always love listening to Sandra.
Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts about this topic today Gina Marie. I appreciate your interesting and kind comments
Hello how're you doing today hope you're safe due to the covid 19 pandemic?
Thank you so much for your wonderful spiritual thoughts and your journey with God by your side
🙏🙏💪Bless you!
Hello Sandra! Thanks for your soothing voice, common sense, and for sharing what’s happening in your beautiful life! Your special demeanor is calming in a world gone mad....🌹
Thanks Tyra. It certainly is the world I don’t recognize.
Thank you so much for today. Ours is not an unusual story
Great adviceSherry
I like how you said her infectious optimism; yes and it multiplies into our lives. 💕
Thank you so very much for your kind comment. I sincerely appreciate it
Dearest Sandra, as every evening here I am going through the archives of your videos and I profoundly feel connected with the way you analyzed the changes you are experiencing at this time of your life, definitely a difficult period that as time passes will become more complex.
You are so beautiful and graceful Sandra! Thank you for sharing 💕
Hello 👋how're you doing today hope you're safe over there?
Thank you so very much for shearing so lovingly these very intimate thoughts. You remind me of that prayer. "God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change..."
I hope one day to reach that serenity that you have achieved. Blessings to you.
Thank you Sandra, for your life and your work and for your wisdom. ☺️🙏🕊️🙏💕

Glad Author is coming home. My sister is 83 and she is a care give to her husband of 86 . I don’t live close to she now. So I don’t get to see her much . You remind me of her so much . I have been so blessed to have found you here and it is so comforting. To see you .
I am happy to have you here and I am grateful for your comment
While watching your channel, I feel healing. The dust particles start to slow down, tranquility is spreading around me and life awakening is taking place.
I am so happy my message resonated with you.
I thank you 🙏
Sandra, you are a very special Lady❤️ I send much love to you and Arthur as you navigate this next phase of your lives …
I'm 41 years old and I love your videos. Thank you for sharing with us all your experience and knowledge.
We are here for you, you are not alone. God Bless you both! 🌻
Thank you for sharing your thoughts today. I appreciate your kindness and support

Your insight and compassion shows the beauty of your character and your joy of sharing your life heart soul to us. I partner is younger then me. He has health issues as well as I. I am privileged to walk the journey with you. You are so wise!
Thank you for sharing your journey sweetheart. You are absolutely authentic . Thank you for sharing ☺️
Thank you for all of your good advice
Hello how're you doing today hope you're safe due to the covid 19 pandemic?
Hello how're you doing hope you're safe due to the covid 19 pandemic?
Sandra, you're such a joy to listen to. Thanks 🙏😍for sharing your stories! God bless!
Love and gratitude and faith
Sandra,
I just turned 25 last Saturday, and my life has changed drastically in the past 3 months.

Thank you very much for saying that. I think we have such wonderful comments and I try to answer as many as I can. We have a wonderful community here

Thank you so much for your interesting and encouraging post Karen. I really appreciate it
Your openness and honesty are incredibly therapeutic. Thank you. May God bless you always. ❤💕

Hello how're you doing today hope you're safe due to the covid 19 pandemic?

Your soothing voice and wise words are priceless, dear Sandra. Thank you.
I love this message Sandra. It truly is all about acceptance. I needed this reminder today and that I'm not alone
Thank you Betty
I enjoyed your heartfelt message today. I’ve been alone now for over 30 years. Twice married, I never thought I’d be alone in my senior years. Listening to you inspires me to keep on keeping on and don’t lose hope for the future. Happy to hear that Arthur will be returning to Miami, albeit, maybe not the same Arthur who left months ago. Acceptance is the key to staying strong and you inspire me to stay strong.💕
Wow! Blessings for you and your husband...in this journey. God will
Iluminate your path...the learning
will give you gifts from heaven.
Amen
Thank you
Hello Sandra...
Forgot to say that l also enjoyed your interviews with Arthur. Keeping you both in my prayers. God bless you Sandra.
Wonderfully said I agree been married 44 yrs ❤
People change, I am sure that you are not the same person either. Marriage requires compromise, respect and love. I certainly wouldn't want to be the person that I was 40 years ago!
Married 47 years. Sandra, a wonderful reminder to all of us. Long relationships evolve. With love we adapt. ❤️
You are special, Sandra. Thanks for the inspiration. Going towards the "sunset" makes us a little bit lonely.
We cheer you on. xoxo
Oh I am so glad to have found you Sandra! You are a beautiful and wise woman.
Thank you so much
This is so powerful. Acceptance, faith and perseverance. To accept the things we cannot change, courage to change the things we can and wisdom to know the difference. Bless you both Sandra. Much love from across the pond 🇬🇧😘
Thank you
Hello how're you doing today hope you're safe due to the covid 19 pandemic?
Hello 👋how're you doing today hope you're safe over there?
Acceptance of choices...thank you! I'm touched by your honestly about your husband. I'm 70 and about to move into my new home only own. I appreciate your food for thought.

Hello how're you doing today hope you're safe due to the covid 19 pandemic?
That’s exactly what we have to do. Acceptance
Best of luck to you
Much love to you and Arthur. You both are such an inspiration and thank you for sharing your journey.
Hello how're you doing hope you're safe due to the covid 19 pandemic?
Hello how're you doing today hope you and your family are safe due to the covid 19 pandemic?
🙏🏻💜 We are here for you and Arthur. Be well and stay positive.
As always, your words are inspiring and lead to self-reflection. Thank you for sharing yourself with us. 💞
You are such a beautiful human being! Thank you for sharing! We will all learn from your amazing heart! Bless you! ❤
😎❤️💄Kathy
Thank you for your confidence in me and your support
Thank you so very much

Dear always graceful and elegant Sandra ,what a special lady you are .Gratitude is key for sure and you don’t have to like things to accept them I know from experience
It’s good hearing how you are doing and Arthur . Sending you lots of love from here in France as I know many of your friends Worldwide are doing the same
Always be kind to yourself Sandra
Mel xx

Thank you
Yes, we are taking this journey together.

Thank you, Sandra. So good to be reminded we are not alone. I'm grateful for the gift of poetry, which I'd not been giving to myself lately, even thought it is so easy to take a moment and read a beloved poem...feeds the spirit! The Road Less Traveled is a favorite.
Hello how're you doing today hope you and your family are safe due to the covid 19 pandemic?
I live your sensitivity, Sandra....God bless us all as we journey through this life 😀
Hello how're you doing hope you're safe due to the covid 19 pandemic?
Sandra, I’m glad we had this conversation today. Life has a way of blindsiding us with the unexpected. Situations pop up from around a corner that we could never have imagined, let alone are left to live with.
Your subscribers/friends are walking with you.
Hello 👋how're you doing today hope you're safe over there?
Sandra I jus t love you and I am a new fan you give me courage and positivity hope and not alone God put you here for all of us to enjoy prayers sending the angles of strength to you and happiness. Thank you
Sandra, thank you so, so much for sharing your insight and experience during stage of life. It is incredibly valuable! Until I discovered your channel, I hadn’t found this type of forthright discussion on these critical issues for aging women, and I am so grateful to you and your willingness to be candid! Sending you much love through the ethers, my dear sage. 🥰
Hello how're you doing today hope you and your family are safe due to the covid 19 pandemic?
Love gratitude and attitude! Thanks for sharing
