- The road to EICMA 2023 wasn't what I wanted but it was I could manage, instead of riding due to budget constraints I had to fly, so flying to the show instead of riding to the show, how bad can it be?

You are absolutely right, Alex. Еxcept for the in town city commuting, scooters and motorcycles are a passion thing. We do it because we are a bit crazy and we love it. Since I was a little boy, I was always thinking.. What is behind that hill or on the other side of the mountain etc. It can not be explained to someone that wants only to go somewhere to get the job done and back. That is why we as motorcyclists wave to each another, we understand the person that we are waving to.
I ride my scooter all yearr round. I have riden with high winds and rain. I have also ridden with close-to-freezing weather and I am loving it!
Hi from Hungary. Even though the cold is here (around zero C temp) I continue to use my Burgman 200 to commute. As you sad 15-20 min is not enough to really get cold. Get some wind deflectors for your hands, good quality tires and a winter mask. That’s about all you need - and people just start to realize it here. Slowly 😂
Yep, I do the same thing, and also here people are starting to realize it and more and more are riding all year long 😁

What a treat, plus eye-opening experience seeing all the scooters in Milan. I was shocked when I saw all the scooters in Monaco ( other channel)
I was wondering if in the country of scooters there would be a scooter rental service, so I just took a peek on scooter renting in Milan (bikesbooking) and considering the guarantee fee for a 3 days rental as they have standard (800 Euro for a Vespa Primavera 125) + 160 Euro for the period of 3 days with unlimited km. travel... well, if you don't crash it and have later your guarantee fee back, it would be around 53 Euro a day for a nice little cute scooter. Well, having nearly 1000 Euro aside just for this service sounds a bit painful but maybe it would've been nicer to experience it without walking and busing that much 😊. For the same period, the renting fee for a Peugeot Tweet 125 would be (126 Euro - 42 Euro a day 😁) with a guarantee fee of 400 Euro. Just as an idea and I'm sure maybe there are better offers. I'm sure you've also thought of renting a scoot there, but considering doing the full trip on a budget, I got the idea and is a nice experience to consider how much it would cost all in all. Greetings from our hometown Bucharest! I also enjoy as much as I can my PCX, not forgiving it, but only when it's not raining hard 😄.

Stayed in many a student housing or Pension that was must like that on my trips through Europe in my college days.

4:20 Well, quite a difference to good old Germany. Where you would have to get your scooter out of storage afterwards. And have to pay €250 for the towing, storage and fine, …as it was parked illegally.. 😂

I feel you. Just flew in to check out the new Voge 900DSX. The ~1.5km walk from train station to EICMA is crazy stupid. Also Milan public transport is not for tourists...
Really interesting video fully detailed of your trip to eicma & back, although it is more than one hour, but really not boring at all I enjoyed every single minute, & one of the best parts was the cheap long term parking 🤣 in Bucharest Airport.

I am surprised you didn't cover some of the interesting electric maxi scooters (Vmoto, Evteker, Horwin, Scorpio, Sunra, Tailg, Keeway, Zeeho, Yadea). A lot of them copied the BMW CE04 styling. Some of the ADV e-scooters look quite interesting as well.
Tbh I didn't have time to see all the show in just one day
thanks for another good video dude. At least next year, you can decide what is best to get to EICMA but I think road trip would always be a more pleasant way to do it.
Road trip at least for me is always the better option, I just need time and money 😂
Αλεξ έχω πάει τρεις φορές Ιταλία και την μια από αυτές ήταν ο μεγάλος γύρος της από βορρά προς νότο σχεδόν σ όλες τις μεγάλες πόλεις και παραθαλάσσια θέρετρα αυτό που έχω να πω είναι πως όλη αυτή η ομορφιά της Ιταλίας μετριάζεται από την κακή ποιότητας παροχών τουρισμού , σίγουρα από τα χειρότερα καταλύματα και ξενοδοχεία , μέτρια έως κακή συμπεριφορά στους χώρους εστίασης , οι τιμές είναι εκτός πραγματικότητας ότι να ναι από τον βορρά έως τον νότο της χώρας , πχ στο Μιλάνο οι τιμές είναι εξωπραγματικές χρεώνουν την κουταλιά παρμεζάνας στο σπαγγέτι πέντε έως δέκα ευρώ κτλ κτλ , μπουκαλάκι νερό από δύο έως πέντε ευρώ μέχρι και σε μικρά μάρκετ ....Μόνο ο καφές με το κέρμα είναι φθηνός.....Επίσης σε όλες τις πόλεις της Ιταλίας αν πας με τουριστικό λεωφορείο πρέπει να πληρώσεις φόρο για να μπεις αλλιώς πρέπει να παρκάρει το λεωφορείο εκτός πόλης και να πας με τα πόδια η το τρένο κτλ κτλ .....Από την Ρώμη και κάτω τα πράγματα είναι καλύτερα και φθηνότερα ο Βορράς της Ιταλίας είναι εκτός πραγματικότητας....Άλεξ με τα λεφτά που έδωσες στο Μιλάνο για να φας αυτό το λίγο φαγητό , στην Θεσσαλονίκη την πόλη μου στην Ελλάδα θα έτρωγες δύο γύρους τεράστιους δύο μερίδες πατάτες μια σαλάτα δύο μπύρες και δεν θα μπορούσες να χωνέψεις για δύο μέρες.....Η τρίτη φορά ήταν και η τελευταία που πήγα Ιταλία ξανά δεν έχει.
If you are thinking to have an open list of people to take with you next year at this moment I would say to put me on, even though it is in the beggining of november and the weather can be messy. Good luck anyway! You are doing very good what you do!
I curently have no plan for next year, depends on a lot of things but we'll see.

Orice ar spune carcotasii, si anul asta ai plecat la EICMA tot cu scuterul .... si te-ai intor acasa tot pe scuter. Restul, drumului.... detalii si atat. Foarte frumos, la mai multe!

I second the motion. All these civilizational goodies come at the price of unbearable tediousness and hassle. I rather travel on donkey than by plane.
