Yay! I've been waiting for this video. Thanks for the update. I'm thinking about supplementing our language arts with level one of this next year.
So glad it was helpful and thank you for asking me.
This was super helpful!
I'm so glad! Thank you so much for watching.
Tasha's hair is beautiful 😍
Thank you so much.
This is still on my list. I hope to add this as a writing supplement for my kiddos
Yay! Yes we are excited to continue this next year.
This curriculum seems so great. I've been looking into there programs for my son for 1st grade.
😊awesome.
Thanks for sharing! I am looking into this program for my 1st grade in the fall... she is a Zoe too!
Oh, awesome! Thank you so much for watching, I hope you all enjoy it!
Also, does WWE have an Index at the back of the book, so parent can look up "fragment" and see that it's brought up in exercise 17 (as shown in your video)?
Hi Tasha! Thanks so much for this video. I know it's a bit older, hopefully this comment get to you. I've been trying to get a better idea on what to expect from this curriculum, as I'm mid-year with my 3rd grader and I'm looking into formal writing programs outside of his literature and grammar units we do. I see the main learning instrument is via narration and dictation. Is the child ever reading from the passage and then answering or completing a prompt on the paper on their own? Or is everything copied by the student only after it's been narrated to the parent first? I appreciate it!
I apologize for my very late response. With using writing with ease you are reading the passage and then they are responding with exercising Narration and Dictation. Once you spend a significant time using the curriculum and feel the child is capable, I would encourage them to read the passage and then share. Hope this helps.
@@TashaPivots thank you!
Hi, Tasha. Is the discussion on fragments , etc., coming from the WWE book, or are you just bringing them up on your own with Zoe as you see them?
So the part where the parent and student write. Do you write something and they copy what you wrote?
So sorry I didn’t clarify. Your child will give their 2-3 sentence dictation and you will write it down.
Wow this looks fantastic. About how much time do you spend per sitting? I have a soon-to-be second grader.
Thank you for your comment. I would say on average we spend about 10-15mins on each lesson.
Lol "fragment" 🙋♀️
Haha! It gets the best of us.
We love WWE!!!
Love it!
