Here's what is coming. Julius Africanus argues the it was all written in Greek to begin with and that will lend weight to Homer and Vergil being all over the Gospels and Acts.
Hi Gary. Wondering if you can help me. Any idea from where this passage quoted by Justin Martyr is from? Have not been able to find it anywhere in the Bible. He is referring to the passages removed by the Jews because they point to Jesus being the Messiah. Its from Justin Martyr' "Dialogue with Trypho" Chapter 72 { ...which Esdras made in reference to the law of the passover, they have taken away the following: 'And Esdras said to the people, This passover is our Saviour and our refuge. And if you have understood, and your heart has taken it in, that we shall humble Him on a standard, and thereafter hope in Him, then this place shall not be forsaken for ever, says the God of hosts. But if you will not believe Him, and will not listen to His declaration, you shall be a laughing-stock to the nations.' ... } Thks.
Scholars are not sure. It appears that there were copies of the Septuagint that had these interpolations. We don't have any manuscript to confirm this, but different early fathers reference some of the things Justin brought up, so apparently they also had copies that had these verses. Justin did believe that these and others were removed by the Jews because they were embarrassing regarding the Messiah. Justin is inferring this from the fact that the Jews didn't have these verses, yet they were in the Septuagint. Hope this helps
Book of Wisdom utilized in New Testament. Amen William. Pauls Epistle to the Romans is an example of that utilization. Great video.
Very interesting, I definitely learned from this. Thanks. Mark Loftus
🕊Thank you, brother William.❤✝️🙏🥖🍷❤
There is zero doubt that Wisdom of Solomon & the rest of the Deuterocannon are all utilized in the New Testament.
A MasterClass as always!
Amazing job William! Keep up the good work!
Excellent!!

@@ApocryphaApocalypse Thks Gary. Appreciate the help.
Recently read wisdom, seen no purgatory anywhere.
Apparently you didn't watch the video.
What is your definition/idea of what purgatory is?
Literally one of the first things you see in the video says Wisdom 3:1-9
@doinic09
I read it, it's not purgatory.
Did Jesus pay for your sins on the cross?
@@GodSoLoved.Yeshua Made me chuckle..." Read it, nope."...😂
purgatory does not exist
