- Boeing B-52H Stratofortress flying from Barksdale AFB (KBAD) to Diego Garcia NSF (FJDG). Air refueling by McDonnell Douglas KC-10 Extender over the strait of Gibraltar. Flyby of New York, Boston and Dubai.
This video contains only what you can get in FSX (including add-ons). No sound, effect or other artifact not included in FSX (including add-ons) were used to make this video.

Hey! First of all, thanks for the content. Sorry for the super late comment, but I've a question about the refuel. I know the trick with FS Recorder, in fact I use it for refueling the Blackbird with the KC135. But how did you made the tanker's refuel boom moving in position? When I replay as traffic, my KC135 will have it's refuel boom still up, despite the fact I've deployed it correctly during recording.
For you it might have worked out on the first try with no problems, but I'm asking anyways.

i recommend you the b-52 driver from captain sim cause of better grafics and how did you refuel your b-52 in the air? is this an addon too?
tombmaster972 I used FSRecorder. I first recorded the KC-10 flight. Then I recorded the B-52 flight with the KC-10 flight as AI traffic.
Which route to Diego Garcia from Barksdale? over the Atlantic Ocean, or over the Pacific Ocean?
Atlantic. Did you watch the video? There are flybys of New York, Boston, Strait of Gibraltar and Dubai! It's way more longer over the Pacific
@@AeroSid Thanks. I thought maybe that was Manhattan with Central Park. I've never been to NYC, Boston or any of those places. I did recognize Riverside Drive and the Red River.

QuadGamer Thanks! Did you set the navigation mode to GPS? In most aircraft models, NAV is selected by default
Aero Sid Thanks for your reply, no haven't set NAV to GPS.. where is control... on B52 the modes are only TACAN, ILS etc.
QuadGamer In the Alphasim model, Navigation mode button is located at the bottom left under the clock

Aero Sid I checked out the alphasim model... cockpit graphics poor in relation to capt sim but skins really good. Isn't it amazing that payware doesn't include simple nav/gps yet freeware does. According to capt sim the b52 driver is funware and as such doesn't have complex programming. Sheesh I still paid $36 AU for it. I wonder if there is a way to combine the two models together.
Is refuelling part of a multiplayer mission or is it an add on??

Derek Vandyke You should respect this plane. The B-52 can carry a lot of bombs, JDAMs and cruise missiles (i.e. Tomahawk) at long distance. It is old, but its avionics is kept at the top of the edge.
Why the B-52G were destruyed because of the Russians?
I think it was not a loss for the SAC. Nowadays, it's useless to have that many bombers
And the SAC surely saves a lot of money not having to maintain them.
In that case, you should never ever go to a boneyard, especially in Arizona where there's a lot of B-52s
