That pipe is gorgeous! When I had the ST1100 Delkevic was about the only choice for aftermarket exhausts. Is there any reason you didn’t remove the old one as a unit? If you had simply undone the nuts at the head, followed by the muffler mount bolt you could have skipped the step of fighting the muffler. Also, a lot of bikes hide the plug to disconnect the O2 sensor so people simply give it a few turns to twist the wire. Then it unwinds as you install the sensor. Sure looks like you’re happy with the result!
Dan, thanks for rhe kind words. The reason I took the exhaust off first was because it would’ve been very hard to loosen it if the pipe wasn’t held down by something. In this case, the pipe was held down by all the bolts to the frame in the head. I’m sure there are other ways to do it, this is just what worked for me. Maybe my video wasn’t clear, but this was already an aftermarket muffler, that I was reusing
