Andrei and Dominika!! You guys are awesome! Thank you so much for this beautiful reaction, It honestly means the world to us that channels like yours are spreading the word
I want to echo whats already said, now you guys are blowing up alongside Ren and Chinchilla you are basically a super group. You guys need to tour. PLEASE! ❤
You guys are so good, honestly one of the best bands I've heard. I hope you reform when Ren gets home, and I hope one day you'll play Glastonbury, I think you'd be a hugely popular.
Absolutely agree with the rest, your time will come now, because a lot more people will hear you and realise how great you are and get the energy and the passion that we can feel through your music and performances 🙌🙌🙌
“We’ve said so much about him & I feel we haven’t said enough.” The best compliment an artist can receive! It makes me happy to see so many people exposed to great music out of pure chance. (Myself included!) 💜
Great reaction yet again folks. The Big Push is another extensive rabbit hole to dig into. But the other members also have their own channels. Gorran Kendall on bass guitar and Romain, (who happens to be French and Ren's housemate). Please react to the guy playing the ukulele in this one, (Romain Axisa) and his most recent release 'Love Without Feelings (live)'. He plays piano on this and there are strings and a choir. It is a beautiful song!!
With all my appreciation to Manu Chao's talent this song was never on my favourites list, but for some reason this version from Big Push made me fell in love with it.
Romain Axisa is French and such a wonderful guitarist. He's playing a ukulele. Check out his Georgia On My Mind. Gorran Kendall on base also so good. They did this justice and sound so good together 😁🙏 Love your reactions guys as always 👍👍👍👍
She is so right, they just are doing what they love and just makes you happy. Keep reacting to Big Push, from Black Sabbath and War Pigs to Praise Him, it just is music the way it's supposed to be.
Many other viewers have probably said this many times before.... but you are such an adorable couple. I'm sure that you bring smiles to many people's faces. Your positivity and love for Ren and his compatriots in the field of music touches my heart. Keep doing what you are doing because we need people like you in this world. Much love from the UK
Guys, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE listen to one of Romain Axisa's(mandolin player) own songs. It's called "Love Without Feelings(Live)"; in this version Romain plays piano and is accompanied by a ladies choir. It's really beautiful. I just know you will absolutely LOVE it!!😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
I honestly love you two. You know that “thing” that Ren has, you both have that too. The vibe is palpable when I watch your reactions. If it’s not a melancholia with one of his deep songs it’s a pure unadulterated joy with one of his upbeat songs which always resonates - whatever it is I always feel something when watching you both.
As always, a very enjoyable reaction. You two always manage to make me smile. I would recommend you discover their performance of "Swan Song," a song that for some inexplicable reason has not really garnered any attention. Matter of fact, I have not come across a single reaction to this beautiful song. You would also enjoy their Sting cover of "An Englishman in New York," and the song "Dignity;" it is beautiful, and the accompanying video really makes it special because it offers an intimate view into the personal on and off stage interactions between the bandmembers. Also, “These Boots Are Made For Walking,” “Praise You” (Fatboy Slim Cover), “What Kind Of Woman Is This,” are great as all three take a turn singing. I am looking forward to more reactions from you. God bless.
Yes! I have to peel my brain off the wall every time I enjoy The Big Push or the solo work these guys do! I hope the have a reunion tour soon! I would cross the pond for them any day! I especially love Romain Axisa’s French verses in this piece! He has been doing some live shows around the U.K. this summer! The footage I see fans posting is amazing! I hope you react to some of Romain’s solo work soon!
I knew you would love this performance. ❤ Aside from the excellent musical talent, I loved their venue of friends getting together outside to play music together. It reminds me of the good times I had with the rest of my band members, The Saturday Morning Cowboys, and how we got together 3x each week to jam and have fun. At 70 years old now and the youngest member, I’m the last survivor of our group and it makes me happy to see young people enjoying music together for the sake of enjoyment.😊❤😊
Absolutely adored your reaction! couldn't stop smiling through it! You are full of light and love and happiness, your energy is so beautiful! You were enjoying it together the same that the boys in the band were enjoying it playing the song and recording it, first for them to enjoy themselves, and then for all of us as in a reaction chain 😍🤩 this is just amazing!
A sweet and beautiful smile for Ren and his merry band of misfits. I don't know why, but this is one of my favourites of his. The energy is very pure. When you're ready for something heavier by him, there is a video titled "Patience | Ren Gill | M.E " from 8 years ago that is very good, filmed while he was very sick. It's not on his channel for some reason, but is still very good. Also his other song with Chinchilla - How To Be Me - is very strong as well.
When i was young i heard so many time this song of Manu Chao (French/Cubano) , really famous in our country (France). This song mix good vibes and sad vibes (when he speak french he talked about break up). So good cover and like you said, they put their own flavor in. Thanks for your reaction. (Go check the original version for yourself if you want).
I laughed out loud at the "bouncy bouncy" this song has the same effect on me too (and probably countless others). Great reaction, not to be weird but I love you two ❤
Absolutely love this song ❤️ Ren and the Big Push are all amazing musicians and artists! Not to mention the collaborations with other amazing artists! So happy I,you, and the rest of the world is finding them as well! Great reaction! Much love!❤️
This is the third time i watch this video and i loved it every single time ! I love the way you enjoy music, i think you are the only people whom i watched multiple times videos reactions. You seems so genuine with eachother and the music you listen to. Andrei i loved watching you react to this song (song of my childhood by the way), you looked like a kid in a candy store and when you looked at Dominika your joy it seems like it was multiplied by the way she was enjoying it. I love your channel ! And sorry for the way i talk, english is not my first language
They are on the roof outside of their apartment. You can see some windows behind Ren with a hallway that leads into their apartment. They're about 3 blocks from Brighton Beach, where the intersection that Ren crossed in Genesis was. It's also the same rooftop he was sitting on around the 1:00 minute mark of Losing It. The Big Push was just a project that Ren and his busking friends came together to make an album for to showcase and promote each of their members talents, but they're not currently an active band and may not continue to be one. Ren said that he would love to make more music with them if there's an interest from everyone, but with the way he's blown up it's likely he'll be busy with his solo career. The Big Push has a whole lot of cover songs and those are the ones that most reactors pay attention to with very few reactors watching their original songs, which are all damn good.
All three musicians shone in this one and each instrument was vital to the whole. Loved your enjoyment of this. What a feel good performance. I happened on the Big Push cover first and then had to check out Manu Chao. Had not heard of him and greatly enjoyed discovering his channel.
As always, loved sitting with the two of you and dancing in my seat to this song. I think you'd really enjoy "It's alright" or their cover of "Praise You", by the Big Push also. It's one of those songs (It's alright) that starts your day on the right note, or turns one around that's gone awry. Sending love.
Aww.... lovely to see your faces full of joy. Their interpretation/cover is just phenomenal! And I just get so happy & bouncy when listen to them. Great reaction guys! There's so much great music to listen to from The Big Push. I love an original song from them called "Watch out" (live busking) Would be great to see you reacting to that one Saludos desde Valencia España ✌️
I suspect Manu Chao will approve. I know what you mean about them using their time. Working. The Big Push and Ren have been dedicated to their music for years and now they are being recognised, adored. I was always listening to Manu Chao for a few years, too. Still do.
You guys are so sweet! Really enjoy your reactions and positive energy! Another good ones by the Big Push are Englishman in NY, Praise you, Wade in the Water/Trouble so Hard.
That's a great cover but as I've grown up with the original version, I prefer it. You should listen to it btw, Manu Chao is a wonderful solo artist as well with La Mano Negra 😉. Really enjoy your videos, blessings from France 🇫🇷
Hello *Andrei* & *Domenica,* *Manu Chao* was the leader of the French group *La Mano Négra* (Reference to the secret and violent anarchist organization acting in Andalusia at the end of the 19th century, but also to the first mafia - La Mano Neira - having raged in the USA before Cosa Nostra, or even in the network of young French resistance fighters - La Main Noire - created in September 1940 when Alsace was forcibly annexed by the Third Reich) before starting a solo career. You have to listen to *"Mala Vida"* (probably their biggest international hit), *"King Kong Five," "El Senor Matanza,"* and, of course, the original version of this title covered by *The Big Push.* For *Manu Chao* only: *"Clandestino (Live),"* *"Me gustas tu."* Peace, Folks. ☮😉
Well, this was great fun... now please react to "Depression", one of Ren's most hurting songs. Completely different to this happy upbeat song! Subscribed!
I always feel a bit happier after watching one of your videos, thank you for that! Please react to Ren and Sam performing their song Blind Eyed live (the one with the angry car park attendant). I'm sure you will love it!!!
If you want to watch Ren and The Big Push in concert check out the channel Tour_Royale The Big Push 9th September 2022 Brighton Dome. Obviously this was done last year and it was their first and last concert before Ren had to go to Canada for treatment and the band split up. Somebody recorded it and it's just a front view but the sound quality is excellent and the picture is also great. Either watch in your own time or react to it. Unfortunately Bongo Bong isn't on there but alot of other stuff they play busking or have recorded as video is. They are great and it kinda shows how simple and raw they are. Most people don't find this as it's on an obscure channel but it's an awesome performance. You should definitely watch it!!!
you should do Freckled Angeles make sure it's the live version where he is wearing a black tShirt "Ren - Freckled Angels - Live At The Regal Room" must watch must watch

I wrote to Romain about what instrument he plays...he replied Ukulele c ...concert

I'm thinking it's a lute, not a ukulele?
@@andytaylor9892 nah, this small, only 4 strings and a straight neck, it's definitive a ukulele.

Of all the people I watched react to this song, you're the first who knew who Manu Chao is. Congrats for that and your great reaction.
The world needs Ren.
At least I know he came at the right time for me. Him and his buddies bring me so much joy

I think this was recorded during lock down, as the band did many videos to entertain us during that time.
