@MrsRealistic ...It wasn't in a cool town like Brighten, U.K. or even a cool big city in the U.S., it was a smaller town barely in the suburbs, almost in the sticks/farmland, about half hour Southwest of the Lou (St. Louis). Hope you are having a wonderful day as well. :) I adore everything about this one and play it often. It's such a boppy vibe. Did you notice how smoothly Gorran sipped a bit of wine timed perfectly before his bass line started. I don't know anything about the original but have read in some comments that Romain is playing a Ukelele (?) and the french has something to do with "I don't love you anymore"... 🤷
Yes! That was totally smooth! 😁 I'm going to have to look it up...I caught a few words here and there, "amore" so I knew it was something about love...🤣👍
This is one of the songs that didn't make it over the pond apparently, because if you ask anyone btw 30 and 50 over here in Europe, they know this song. And that thing is a Ukulele.
If you haven’t already, check out The Big Push’s Oh My Woman. Not many lyrics, but the music is banging (with Ren on bass, I think) and the video is an absolute trip.
Romain is playing a ukulele, a type of lute that usually has 4 unpaired strings. It's definitely not a mandolin, a type of lute with 8 strings, paired in 4 courses. Using pairs of strings makes it easier to sustain notes and chords with tremolo picking.
That's what I was thinking, but the shape was different than what I usually think of when I see a ukulele. I knew that it wasn't a mandolin because of the 4 strings. Thanks for the info!😊👍

One of my Favs!
It's beautiful!!
What a band! Just love this track so much and am really pleased you have done it ( at last :) ) Lovely reaction as well.
Thank you! Yes this one was just lovely!!
This is one of the songs that didn't make it over the pond apparently, because if you ask anyone btw 30 and 50 over here in Europe, they know this song. And that thing is a Ukulele.
But it's made it over the pond now! ;)
🥰
If you haven’t already, check out The Big Push’s Oh My Woman. Not many lyrics, but the music is banging (with Ren on bass, I think) and the video is an absolute trip.
Thanks for the request! I haven't done that one yet...😊👍
I’m not musical but I thought it was a lute. 😀
@@Jacorat I could have thought the same thing!!
Kinda surprised you didn’t do this one already. Glad you got to it. These guys are special. Really hope they get back together to make more great content.
There's so much to listen to! I'm all over the map 🤣👍
A Ren day is always a good day!!!
🙏 Amen!!
I'm still waiting for his collab with Metallica though..@@MrsRealistic
Great reaction love and respect from the UK 👍👍🌟😀😀 amazing channel 👍
Thanks again Dave!!
This is my grAndaughters favourite she loves the boi as she calls Ren 😂 she's only 1 and a half year old 😍
Well she's got impeccable taste for an 18 month old!! Raising her right!! 👏👏👏
@@MrsRealistic 😂😂👍❤️✌️
Romain Axisa is a French from Toulouse 😊
Yes, I had heard that, that's why the French part was perfect for him! I looked it up after and there was a version done with French in it. 😊👍
Please checkout Swan Song by these guys. I do believe the video of them singing was their first.
Thanks! I've got that on the list!! 😊👍
I think Ren gets pretty low in Man’s World. I love the location they chose to do this in.
YES!! That's what I was thinking of! Thank you!!
@@MrsRealistic 👍😁
This is the rooftop that you can access from an apartment the three of them rented during covid lockdowns (Gorran or Romain might have been living there already, not 💯on that, but all three lived there for about a year) so they didn't have to get tested every time they wanted to practice. It's also the same rooftop seen in the beginning of the "Murderer" video, where Ren is hitting the heavy bag.
❤❤
Totally formidably fallen fir ms Realistic,- head of heels 😊
The instrument Romain is playing is a mandolin.
I thought that at first too but a mandolin has 8 strings. I found out it's a ukulele! 😊👍
If you look closely you will notice this is the same location for the start to Murder.
Someone else had mentioned that. What a cool flat to have a place like that to hang out!
Fantastic reaction if you want a laugh check out... Behind the push Icarus.. there are a couple of behind the scenes material 👍👍
Oh that would be a blast, thanks!
You’re 😎
I'm confused...😉
Hey,,,,..o😊
Ukulele 😁🤟🏼
That is a Mandolin that Romain is playing.
I think a mandolin has 8 strings 👍

Thank you!!
🪘🪘♥👌
HAHA! King of the bongos and the percussionist is missing :)
I didn't even think of that!! 🤣🤣🤣🙌
I didn't subscribe, that's how it was with the first Ren reactions.
My subscription is now there. I'll catch up on the Contend.
Thank you 😊
I THINK he is playing a eukalale? (however you spell it)
I think you're right! 👍😊
It's a Ukulele. My wife plays one 😁
I love it! Thanks!
Mandolin
I believe a mandolin has 8 strings tho 😉👍
@@MrsRealistic I believe your right
Ukulele
Ukulele maybe
Yes, I've since discovered that it was a "pineapple ukulele" 😁👍
Oh dear, how sad, no music.
Huh, did you forget to turn your sound on? or did your hearing aids die ?😜
No one else had an issue... perhaps your sound is off?
