I remember something like this years ago where a grandpa was rushed to the hospital and died that night. After the EMS and other officers left to take him to the hospital, another officer who had not responded to the call showed up. He heard what happened over his radio and waited for everyone to leave before going into the house and rummaging thru it taking prescription meds, cash, and jewelry. He was caught by security cameras the family had installed in the house to watch over the grandfather in case of emergency.

When a person passes away you see where their family and friends hearts truly are by their actions. Once the person is gone their family and friends start competing with one another to see who can get there the fastest and get away with the most. When a dear friend of mine passed away her granddaughter immediately picked her hand up and started taking her rings off of her fingers and when she didn't have any room left on her fingers she turned to my friends cousin and asked her to put a few on her fingers. The cousin quickly said I don't want those and the granddaughter said oh no no no I'm not giving them to you I just need you to walk out of the hospital with them and as soon as we get out you are to take them off an hand them to me. The cousin didn't do this and was shocked at the granddaughter for doing it. I mean as soon as she took her last breathe she started taking her rings off of her fingers. When she left the hospital she immediately went to the house took the computer and any and all paperwork that had any information on the Will she had left so she ended up with everything the house, new car, and all the money in the bank. Greed will get you nowhere in the next life. God doesn't like ugly. It's like once the person is gone they are forgotten about and the living just take all they can. I find it so disrespectful to the person that has passed away. 😢💔 But you see where people's hearts were all along.

This happened to my father. After his uncle (and godfather) died, they, a neighbor who had the key, because she was a friend with him, took almost everything in the house, even his war medals. When my father eventually got the keys, a few days after, not much were left and he contacted the notary in charge but quickly realized the notary HELPED them and actually modified the will so they would get the house (a cheap house) and he would get the surrounding vineyards. My father got an lawyer and won the case but the house was already sold to another couple, same for the lands. He never found back all of his uncle's stuff. He got some money back but he just wanted some pictures albums, his medals and his uncle's journal.... he only got the medals back...

I can't believe how many people live in their own personal fairytale to escape reality. The main purpose of acquiring power is to use it to your own advantage. Basically noone grabs for power to help the average citizen. In this regard, the system Is like a sweater, pull on one loose string and you unravel the whole thing. That's why most crimes go unpunished, and when arrest is unavoidable, they just cut off the loose string.

They tried to rush things up before the family could get there. They tried to get the body moved to a coroner in a different county and were working to get Joyce put in a nursing home. It is pure greed and evil!

This happened to me. Before my grandmother died, she and my uncle had left everything to me. The problem was nothing was in writing. It was common knowledge with our family that everything was going to be left to me. However, on the painful day she passed away, instead of coming to her funeral, they went to her house, which sat alone. They took everything. Even the a/c out of the wall. That's how much love they had for her. Shows the type of people they really were. I haven't spoken to them since that day. Hope I never do.
