@@PNPRetro Hello friend, congratulations on the project! In the files available at the link, there is a missing part. The gray part, as shown on the right side in the video (4:30), is not among the files.
That Raptor game looks... Oddly familiar. This tells me that I've played that game way back in my humble gaming beginnings on a 486. Thanks for digging that game out, it's bringing me way back!
Thank you! I'm having a lot of fun with it. Let me know if your experience is different than mine. So far, I'm the only one I've seen with charging issues.
@@PNPRetro will do! In watching Rasteri's video, I think he hooked it up to a bench power supply of some sort! Looks like he has the battery unplugged and a capacitor between power leads. Maybe a setup like that will help with "desktop" mode for these!
I'm quite surprised you've never played Raptor. Fantastic shoot-em-up game. The creator is actually working on a modern remake with better graphics that stays true to the original!
HUZZAH! Found It, They are heavily discounted today as of 4/14 $100us off... This is Sweet, I wasn't a Ps/2 person, but that's about as PC as it gets lol
I found the ribbon cable, it was lying on the floor of my bedroom. I guess I just blanked on it having one with the adapter, I don't know how, but I did.

My apologies. I have added the missing file.
Pretty cool video. I like how you just whip up a 3D printed enhancements for your projects.
Glad you liked it! Definitely bring able to customize things is one of my favorite perks of 3D printing
Neat device for some retro fun! Great they even add ymf262 for adlib compatibility.
I do appreciate legacy pc sound.
I would have loved to have one of these in the early 2000s. Great video! I’m glad my suggestion helped. Also nice keyboard.

I really like the stand you made for it!
Very cool, I just bought one of these. Love the 3D print you did there!

Thanks for the heads up! I'll have to give his video a watch.
I’ll have to order some more colours of pla to print that hand stand!
I was able to order one. Can't wait to get it and put Star Fleet II and F-19 on there.
Sounds like you've got some fun planned!
@@PNPRetro Yeah I am super excited!
I can recommend Heretic for DOS.
But did you film this localized entirely within your kitchen?
Love the nostalgia threaded through this one ❤
Someone reads the descriptions! 🤣

I look forward to that! I like games that update graphics but keep the core the same.

Where did you get the ribbon cable? What type do I need to look for?
It came with the cable and break out board. Did you buy one and it was missing it?
@@PNPRetro yes.
I would definitely contact the seller and let them know. The missing part let's you connect a keyboard, mouse, and an external monitor to the Hand386.
@@PNPRetro I will, thanks.

WOW!!!!!!
How did you move the cursor in windows without a mouse?
I had a mouse connected.
@@PNPRetro what kind did you use?
It's a beige Microsoft ps2 mouse connected to the little breakout board the hand386 came with
@TimeTrekTech ok thanks!
It says that you can't use it while charging, is that right?
I haven't seen that myself. I've used it while it was plugged in. It doesn't charge as fast as it uses power, but it does last longer plugged in
I'd get it if it had a better keyboard but maybe it can be modded.
Should be possible. The PS2 port is exposed via the header pins, so pretty easy to get to!
Is it only me or does this devies look a lot like a SonyEricsson M600 phone
Yeah, I can see that
