Did you say this hair was all one layer when you started? Will this work on 2C hair? Could you please show the back of your creations?? You leave that part out a lot on your videos.

Ex hairdresser since 1987. So glad to see someone maintaining the bulk at the bottom. Drives me crazy when the bottom is over layered removing the weight. To cut my own hair I would place mirror on floor, flip head over, cut straight across.

Amanda, I would recommend going to get a consultation with a hairdresser and see what they recommend, It's difficult to determine as ive never seen your hair or the way it moves. But there are a couple of ideas, internal layers to keep the exterior long and dense, another one would be scaffolding layers, this will create volume inside your hair.

Could you do this on bob cut to create some texture for fine hair? Thank you for sharing this looks beautiful.

I would love if you did a short men's wolfcut or two block haircut video, to see how the sectioning would look for those shorter haircuts

Let's just brush this as I would in the salon.... proceeds to rip the hair out from root to end ha ha ha. Had me rolling!

Isn't this the Farrah (Fawcett) cut? When I first started to cut my own hair (at 15, in the 70's), this is basicslly what I did. 😅
Women's magazines used to show haircut breakdowns and I remember a diagram of a ponytail in the middle of the top of the head!

The way he tears through the mannequin’s hair at 5:30 is exactly why I stopped going to a salon five years ago. No one was ever gentle with my hair or brushed from the bottom up.

I think this haircut is not really representive because you already styled her hair before cutting. I would like to see a video when her hair is straight and wet, and after you cut it then style
That gives a more realistic image

Would this cut be best utilized in conjunction with a butterfly cut to add volume to the top of the head and avoid flatness on the crown? I'm thinking yes particularly with wavy hair. Your thoughts?

You never show the back. The front is lovely but what I don't want is a V in back. Does this cut do that? If it does, what can be done to correct it.
