Hi there, I highly suggest you do not use the phone holder shelf as it exposes the live plug of the adapter which obviously can expose you to mains voltage and perhaps short circuits that would cause a house fire.
Hey man what you can do is go into your channel settings and blacklist common words they use like prize and such so comments using those words will be automatically held for review. If you do it right you should be able to just about eliminate all of them.
I've actually bought the candle lighter previously. One use for it that you neglected to mention where it is perfectly suited is lighting fireworks. Higher winds won't matter and quick lighting is very important.
Didn't think the transparent sticky pad would be too useful but they are very useful. Especially with highlighting words in books. Something like that would've been really helpful when I was in college.
I had always avoided highlighting and taking notes in my textbooks because I wanted to recoup the any cost I could be selling them. Those sticky notes are amazing. Too bad I’m not in school to enjoy them haha.
A suggestion for stationery products such as the sticky notes - would be great to see these tested with ballpoint, rollerball and gel ink pens in the future, as these all act quite differently! Fountain pens are more niche, but at least covering those three would be very useful. Thanks for showcasing those interesting translucent notes!
All in the inks baby, really big on my diamine imperial purple but it has a bit more of a smudge issue than others I've tried. Would be interesting to see how quickly it writes and dries on plastic like that.
in addition to that, after you made notes on the sticky notes, try CLOSING THE BOOK and leave it that way for a while. when the pages gets compressed, usually the opposite page can get ink blots.
Asking a general product reviewer to test stationary to its full extent is unreasonable. Should we have him take apart all the electronics to make sure they don't have faulty wiring too? Measure how much power they take out of an outlet? It's an 8 dollar sticky note!
I love those post-it notes! I’d send those to my to my nephews who are in college. Those would have been fabulous for selling books back to the bookstore. If you forget one or two, the next person can just peel them off and it’s as good as new. I do have one of those rechargeable arc candle lighters and I love it! It’s a pain trying to light a candle with a butane lighter only to realize it’s empty and you forgot to replace it the last time you realized it was empty.
I have a version of the candle lighter with a built-in light that points toward the sparking arch. It is something I have used regularly to light multi things over the last three years. From candles to campfires to burners to pilot lights. With the built-in flashlight, it is great for many things like overnight camping, hiking, and travel trips.
I have expensive textbooks for college and I don't really want to mark them up, especially if I make a mistake in my markings. The transparent sticky notes are an awesome idea. This will be the first time I actually buy a product after seeing the review! Thanks! I will have to self experiment with the kind of pens I use, incase they smudge with the different ink types. Changing to a different pen won't be an issue if just for note taking. Thanks again! I never knew I needed something that I never knew existed in the first place.👍
I 100% agree. I’ve been using sticky notes for note taking for a long time, this will actually be quite beneficial to me since I’ll actually be able to read what’s underneath now
With the smeary pens, they are probably using gel pens. They smear badly, but are recommended for writing checks (they are very hard to erase from check paper). But I use regular pens when just writing notes, etc - so those new sticky notes will be a great thing for me to use. I'm also going to look for the candle lighter and maybe the microwave stacker. When I'm visiting my dad (about to turn 92), he likes to microwave food for us but he does it one at a time. I'm sure he would love to have one of those. Thank you!! 😊
I had to have my furnace repaired last winter and the repairman used one of those lighters to relight the pilot light. So if a professional uses one, they must be a good product. Those sticky notes were a good item. I use gel pens so that may be what smears, couldn't really tell if any pen you used was a gel pen.
Okay, my mind is blown with those sticky-pads for highlighting! I'm not even in school anymore and can see how useful those would be! I hope the libraries and book stores at schools/colleges keep them on hand for sale so studentd have quick access to them (though this also being said, these places also often sell them above regular price, but if you need them in a pinch and don't want to damage your books, they'll do. Maybe sell the pads individually for 50 cents each or something). Hope this can help with getting more value back if the texbooks are sold off, considering they already cost an arm and a leg to buy them.
@@Freakinreviews I work in a library. This is such a great idea. Unfortunately, we're not allowed to sell anything - just replace the books people ruin by writing in them. 😥
Hi love the channel.been a fan for ages now.before u even demonstrated the candle lighter I went on amazon and ordered 1 for a friend who loves candles.she has been looking after me while recovering from a heart attack and then covid that I got in hospital.all the best from Scotland
Normal BBQ lighters tend to stop working if not used over the winter for me. So I thought it was because they were cheap. I bought an expensive one, same problem. I reverted to using matches for BBQs but this might be worth it.
the sticky notes seemed so bland at the start but seeing how how they work when you use them as bookmarkers/highlighters in combination with the freedom to write or scratch through whatever was really impressive for such a simple item, kinda gives yoou the ability to give a second layer to anything you put it on
I usually keep my car keys upstairs rather than downstairs. I know of a few people who was burgled whilst they slept and they took off with valuables and cars because they left the car keys downstairs.
If you decide you need to take the adhesive attached cloud from your wall, try using a hair dryer. It usually will release adhesive from the wall (or stickers from a glass or plastice surface, etc., etc.). You may have to buy your own adhesive to reattach it, though.
I would like more tets on the microwave stacker please. Usually these technically work, but because the foods spread around so much it requires much more time to properly heat, so much so that just heating the individual dishes is faster. Can you do some time vs temp tests? Does it create excessive cold pockets in the food? Otherwise it seems like a great idea! Thanks!!!
For the first product; did you notice any smearing on the opposite page after closing the book? That would by my main concern as the sticky notes looked like plastic. In my mind I image the smooth plastic would easily rub off on the more rough paper when the pressure of a closed book is applied (especially if moved around). But again, thanks for taking the time to share all these innovative products with us!
I have a propane lighter similar to the one used here, but it is flexible just like the RONXS. I can also light things like campfires, charcoal grills, deep candle lanterns, and many other things with it, unlike a lighter that is only designed to light candles and the occasional gas stove. Take that RONXS.
I had the insert for my zippo that was rechargeable and worked like the candle lighter. It sucked though and I couldn’t do crap with it. I now have the butane insert for it and it works like a charm.
I found that the plate stacker actually made cooking times longer than prior. While doing two at once over all still speeds it up, things that would have taken say 3 minutes now took 4-4:30 to reach the same temp if not even 5 minutes.
The ink from whatever you're writing with on the transparent sticky notes gets on the opposite pages when you close the book. It's like you have to double stack them and write in the middle of the two notes. (best with either two clear, one colored on bottom and one clear on top, or maybe even put a black paper over it to use as a divider)
Oh I remember that picture of the Russian kids standing around the sunlight in that psychology book, circa 1980something....great video as always James 👍
That lighter made it so that I can light scented candles and birthday candles again! Having no more strength in my fingers I couldn’t use the regular lighters anymore.
The phone holder: I always have mine laying on the desk, dresser or bedside table. I've never put my phone on the floor to recharge. The microwave stacker is a neat idea, although, it might be better with a larger oven with a larger turntable. Just meassured my turntable and it's 12 3/4" diameter.
those sticky notes are great to keep books clean. many times i find books that were used in school like novels, and personal text books. i even find people writing stuff in the middle margin in a bible. these would keep the books clean for the next reader or user
All of the products seem pretty cool, hours. Pretty impressed with the first product. The highlighter paper stuff. I'm not a book guy but I could see that will be real useful for kids or even adults who's going to college or even whatever kind of desk work you do with books. It doesn't damage the book and great on top of the sticky note. So that's pretty useful. I was surprised how expensive the phone charger holder thing is. The lighter was cheaper than that lol. And that seems like a basic piece of plastic with a hinge lol. Yeah if they make maybe two or three different sizes of the stack microwave thing that'll be pretty good. Lot of microwaves got different size, rotating dishes. And the phone holder again. Not too sure if I trust how it might wear and tear the sockets or outlets for having that weight. Looks like it might be better with those different shape of bricks or chargers. The ones you have to put the phone holder on the wall first then plug it in so it's secured just a little bit.
Well, you just cost me $11.33 CAN because I had to order the transparent sticky notes. LOL Cost a little more in Canada, but I think they will be well worth it. I plan on using them in cookbooks to add notes to recipes, this way, I won't have to mark up the pages themselves. Great idea! I would have ordered the cloud keyholder, but that is $18.60 here on Amazon Canada and that is just more than I am willing to spend on something like that. The phone holder is a nice idea, but my phone has wireless charging, like my 2 phones before it, and my PC has a wireless charging pad built into the case, so I have no use for it. I really like these cheap gadget videos, I can usually find something that is really useful. Keep them coming! 👍
I'm probably going to get that lighter. Rechargeable is a great selling point when you've had to buy multiple of the other ones. Guess it comes down to how good the battery in it is and how many recharges it gets.
I have a portable one with a telescoping head/neck. It's really handy in many situations, but you really need to get the angle right when compared with a regular lighter.
Really would love to see a Magnetic Key Holder update in the upcoming weeks to see if it's holding up instead of waiting a year for the usual monthly update videos lol
I own one of those candle lighters and LOVE it. It lasts a LONG time on one charge and is able to get down into tall jars/vases to light the wicks. I find the BIC ones too hard to use because you have to hold it and push and pull and light all at the same time. Not with this one...just push and light.
My originally gas powered lighter has been working for about ten years now, for lighting my gas oven. It doesn't need to have any gas and it doesn't need to be recharged. Just igniting a spark is enough ;)
Definitely going to get those highlighter stickers for my daughter! How come I never saw these?! It's a blessing. I wish we had something like that when I was a kid, most I could do is carefully using very soft and erasible pencil, but It did not work for library books.
if possible please review indoor heaters (small rooms) space heaters, fireplace looking & I know you've done the bedjet but did you do the version with heating and cooling? does the cooling actually work?
I'm not an electrician or anything, but when you put the plug shelf on the metal prongs and plugged it in, my brain said "Now who am I gonna watch for product reviews?". Not advised to ever risk electrocution lol.
That is definitely a risk. But bigger risk is probably prongs heating up and making plastic catch fire. Pretty sure he is careful about how he pulls out the plug
The Bobino is a nope-a-rino from me. I am deftly paranoid about NEMA connectors having exposed prongs, this especially makes my brain itchy thinking about it. I am sure with GB plugs it would be _great_ though, since the squared-off prongs allow for better fitment so long the socket isn't clapped out.
Can you review ice blocks? I need ice for my coolers often and it’s getting costly. I ran across ice blocks online but I’m skeptical if they work as advertised. Thanks
I'm not a big fan of adhesive things either but I do use command strips in certain places (it's how I hang my keys in my apartment since we can't drill without permission). That transparent sticky pad thing was pretty awesome. I would've loved that in HS/College. Also the plate stacker seems a little gimmicky as I can't think of any times I've had to microwave multiple things after each other. When my wife and I reheat leftovers, we just combine it and then split it up lol.
Someone explain to me please why is the lighter so great? I get that it works great WHEN CHARGED. My lighters stay in storage until I need to light a candle usually if electric is off. This won’t help if I don’t remember to keep the other charged. Right?
I've noticed the bigger wall charger you get you can actually set the phone on top of the whole charger sometimes and it works without having to buy this product that you showed
by any chance, is the RONXS lighter effective on gas stoves? because the traditional lighters that i use have flexible necks noww, just wanna know if it works for gas stoves, i might not have to refill those old lighters anymore!
I seen on some stationery channels highlighter pens that you can flip over and erase the highlight with the other end in the same hand motion as highlighting. Maybe you could review? Loved the idea but some of the pages had a bit of a "wet" look to it. Thank you!
Phone holder is perfect as long as you have 3 pins. 2 pins if round have better holding than flat pins but I still personally didnt keep mine. Passed it on to family as i just didnt get on with it myself.
If you could get in the right position to light a cigarette with the electronic lighter , it would certainly light a cigarette. (although they do make smaller versions of that device for cigarettes.)
I don't like the plug/phone holder thing... Mainly because it does weigh down the plug and after a while your outlet will probably be screwed up and your plugs will be falling out without the holder there. I would think that would speed up the process of ruining your 2 pronge outlets for sure lol
I have a plasma arc light and I believe it's the same one. I charged it once when I first got it and never charged it again for almost a year, It's great for candles and some fireplace fire starting,
With regards to the transparent note pads… I wonder if the negative reviews used a gel ink pen? I could be wrong, but it didn’t look like you tested one of those.
Enjoyed your new video. I'm convinced about some of the products featured in this video and will be looking for them. I first thought that you looked like the guy on bonehead truckers. He's bald with a goatee also. Don't worry, he's no bonehead and neither are you. Thank you for your time and efforts.
They do have long candle or barbecue lighters that have a flexible extension on them but it still doesn't help if you're putting it down inside of a candle in a jar that doesn't have enough oxygen in it for you to like the wick when you have an electric Arc lighter you don't have to worry about oxygen until the wick is lit.
I have the electronic lighter. I really like it cuz I run out of lighters and fuel for those lighters. You are correct in that they are not great for cigarette lighting. Stays cHarged a long time. Great for stocking stuffers & they come in several colors, designs etc. give or take a few bucks. They😊 reminded me of something from Star Wars or Frankenstein
Bobino seems dangerous to use. On an older outlet it could easily partially pull the power adaptor out exposing the prongs. If its that big of a deal get a cardboard box to put your phone on.
The arc lighter will light a cigarette without any problem - there are arc cigarette lighters ;) I bought an arc fireplace and oven lighter a few years ago - something akin to your candle lighter minus the flexible neck (but looks better with it's imitation wood design) - and it has worked like charm. One charge is enough for at least a month, it has never failed on me. One of my best buys of the past few year I must say. After years of daily use it hasn't even got charred or discolored... looks like it was bought yesterday.
Had met cloud for two years adhesive as strong as the day I installed it I use all the time but my wife still walks past it and is still forever searching for her keys I guess it's as good as the users and I bought it for her on well life goes on all good reviews keep up the good work Colin from Manchester ,United kingdom
I absolutely love my electric candle lighter, it's so durable, saves you refills, doesn't explode on you, lights so many candles before you recharge. Good ones even stay charged long in the drawer. Just too narrow for lighting cigarettes etc. But you shouldn't smoke anyway. 😄♥️ The stacker should fit on the rotating tray perfectly being the simple plastic tray it is. 😕
I'm impressed at how much weight the cloud-shaped key-magnet trinket can hold, but I'm positive it wouldn't be able to hold _my_ set of keys; I have three four sets of keys, plus utilities, all connected to a single large keyring.
The cloud key holder would probably wreck the paint on ur wall were the keys hang cuz it's against the paint when hanging...it will b intaresting to see what happens in a mnth

I can agree, I'm in a situation where I'm taking notes lately. Some ball points are fantastic and some are garbage, same goes with gel pens.
All in the inks baby, really big on my diamine imperial purple but it has a bit more of a smudge issue than others I've tried. Would be interesting to see how quickly it writes and dries on plastic like that.

2:30 - in a few years time, James will open this book, see the scribbled notes and think, 'What does this MEAN???'
And you have just summed up my note taking in any class ever😀
🤣🤣🤣🤣
I've been using those charging lighters for a while now and I'll never go back to the Bics. Love em
I have had that exact electric lighter for a couple of years and love it. Light candles every day with it.
That is wonderful!

I hope it went well!
The little clouds I've had them for 5 years now and still holding strong.
We have one of those electric candle lighters. We were very surprised by how well it worked. We use it a lot and the charge screens to hold.
So far I like it!
I've been curious about those sticky notes for a while, thanks for reviewing them
I have that arc lighter and it's still going strong after 2 years. Nice product.
For the charger sliding situation you can wrap a rubber band around the charging brick to create a lip so the stand doesn't slide

My concern about the cloud key holder is it’s so close to the wall, you’re gonna get scratch marks where the keys rest after a while
Right off the bat, those are amazing at being a lazy way to highlight very large sections of text. I am loving these so far.
The plate stacker is interesting but one needs to measure their mw turnplate first.
Really would love to see a Magnetic Key Holder update in the upcoming weeks to see if it's holding up instead of waiting a year for the usual monthly update videos lol

I wonder if those colored gel pens smudge or the popular felt pens?
Those sticky pads are a great idea - $10 for 400. Wish I had them in college, book prices were outrageous.
Thanks
I love the sticky notes and I use my lighter all the time. Have one for home and trailer.
Im still rocking my 10sMax too! Works just fine for what i need it for
I'm in school studying for my electrician journeyman test and have lots of texts books , those sticky notes look useful 🤔 thanks 👍👍
The cloud key thing is cute. I'll be excited to see how long it holds up. Good video James! 😊
Thank you, Julie!
I have used Command hooks to hang keys on the wall for years. They work well and you can put up as many as necessary to accommodate all of your keys.
On the transparent notes you could have tried a gel pen to see if it smudges.
Thank you!
that magnetic key holder is definitely taking some paint off with it when you finally remove it, maybe some of the plaster too.
Phone holder is perfect as long as you have 3 pins. 2 pins if round have better holding than flat pins but I still personally didnt keep mine. Passed it on to family as i just didnt get on with it myself.
8:42... That wall socket needs replacing. I have not seen a loose socket like this since the 70s
Do you have any reviews of the lightbulb security
cameras?
If you could get in the right position to light a cigarette with the electronic lighter , it would certainly light a cigarette. (although they do make smaller versions of that device for cigarettes.)
You can even buy lined transparent sticky notes. 🙂
The lighter would be great for lighting fireworks, since it's wind resistant.
I don't like the plug/phone holder thing... Mainly because it does weigh down the plug and after a while your outlet will probably be screwed up and your plugs will be falling out without the holder there. I would think that would speed up the process of ruining your 2 pronge outlets for sure lol
I love the sticky notes but I can't think of any reason that I would purchase them.
Thanks again James for another enjoyable video. 😁😁
Stick notes I’d suggest give gel pens a try. That might be where the smears come from.
Bobino might not slip if the wall outlets were newer.
I've already ordered a pack of those transparent sticky notes. Would have loved those when I was in school
I have a plasma arc light and I believe it's the same one. I charged it once when I first got it and never charged it again for almost a year, It's great for candles and some fireplace fire starting,
That's EXACTLY the dialogue I used whenever I marked my college textbooks. 😆 awesome reviews as always!
With regards to the transparent note pads… I wonder if the negative reviews used a gel ink pen? I could be wrong, but it didn’t look like you tested one of those.
Awesome video! I actually like all the products. Nice prices too. I really enjoy your video's!
I have a similar lighter and I like it a lot. It is basically a mini stun gun. It can give you quite a shock if you touch the arc.
On the transparent stickies ? If they are left in a book over time can you peel them away with no damage to the book?
Again a 10/10 video! Maybe a interesting idea, maybe you can write actual revieuws under the products and show it in the video?
I wonder how long the phone holder will stay on the charger adapter before falling off?
What a coincidence; I'm about to order that same lighter...to remove static from my vinyl records! Good thing to know it works on candles as well.😆
I’ve had mine about 2 years and it’s still like new, the charge lasts a long time, and recharges quickly. I’m very happy with it!
Haha that is a coincidence, Eradicator!
Had met cloud for two years adhesive as strong as the day I installed it I use all the time but my wife still walks past it and is still forever searching for her keys I guess it's as good as the users and I bought it for her on well life goes on all good reviews keep up the good work Colin from Manchester ,United kingdom
the candle thing is cool because it's very easy to burn your fingers or hands holding that candle lighter upside down. done it multiple times lol
Thanks for the product testing, very helpful!
I absolutely love my electric candle lighter, it's so durable, saves you refills, doesn't explode on you, lights so many candles before you recharge. Good ones even stay charged long in the drawer. Just too narrow for lighting cigarettes etc. But you shouldn't smoke anyway. 😄♥️
The stacker should fit on the rotating tray perfectly being the simple plastic tray it is.
