There is an advantage to using your cactus farm for bonemeal over the moss farms... Moss farms are way faster but they're prone to breaking if you unload the chunks while they're running. This one you can just leave going all the time and it'll gradually accumulate a ridiculous amount. Use an auto crafter to condense it down to bone blocks, maybe throw the results in a shulker loader, and you'll have far more bonemeal than you could ever use. Heck, maybe split the output - take a couple slices of the farm and convert the cactus into green dye, and use the rest for bonemeal...
It’s weirdly therapeutic to watch content where the goal is something else than being the most effective and aesthetic. My inner perfectionist is frustrated, and though it might sound strange it’s really helpful in my attempts in being okay with being average. Love what you do - keep doing you and play in ways that you enjoy ❤
this is absolute madness lol. one part i really enjoyed about the underground series was you figuring out you really like to make things look cool, too. Would be cool if you made the cactus farm look good in the future
15:50 you couldve started by placing the cactus first and by the time ur done most of the cactus is already grown so you can place the fences between the cactus using the cactus itself as the blocks to place it on if that makes sense, wouldve made the final layer a lot easier for you lol
First Melons, then Cactus, what's next? BEET ROOT?? (RekRap has done Melon seeds, Technoblade did Potato's (Rest in piece legend) and everyone does Carrots and a gold farm) Beet roots (As far as I know) are left out, we're almost out of biggest farms for the literal farm foods.
If you dont have an auto storage system, use a hopper on a chest put your shulker on it and go to the next. Instead of by hand putting down shulkers opening them getting stuff out and putting it in chests again 🥲 same for filling your shulkers btw 😇
the parts of the video where you edit all the block placements together with faster and faster cuts are really impressive and satisfying. you must have a lot of patience.
I think it's time to take out the hopper at the bottom and replace with water streams to dozens of shulker loaders for the collection system. OMG! 2,000 days (666 hours IRL for those none Minecraft players), i almost choked on my sandwich
You are the hero because i feel like u r not using client mods for for example auto switching tools or placing blocks in only one line etc. There is a mod for that and i think it would make ur life sigificantly easier...u r the man!
This 100% needs a shulkerbox loader for each outpost hopper, unless you don't mind it filling up in an hour and then never collecting anything again. Atleast that is what I would do. Preferably with a dropper spitting them out into a waterstream to collect the shulker boxes in a single chest.
I'm not sure if it's just me but wasn't notified about video, second time this has happened for your channel, and I have notifications on it. Fair enough only subscribed about 7 weeks so I'm a "new" subscriber so not sure how the algorithm sees me in regards to your content which I really enjoyed. Don't belive there is anything you can do about it but letting you know just in case.
not sure how long you spent using buckets to place the water, I suppose now it's too late but you could have used ice instead of water buckets. They can stack and they'd melt on their own from the heat of the glowstone and auto fill the quadrants with water.
So there's 100 cactus farms all with 30 layers, that's 3000 cactus farms but each farm has 16 cactus. so 3000 times 16 equals 48000 individual cactus and if a cactus in mine craft grows about every 18 minutes that means you,ll get about 2666 cactus every minute from this farm.
must be pretty horrible to build all that, then read in the comments on how many items are going to despawn and how water buckets was such a slow method of placing water! But that’s part of the charm that makes this series so fun to watch.
is there an infinitely recursive shulkers mod? i know it wouldnt be as practical for normal survival but it would be hilarious to screw around with in creative
14 double chests of sand plus spare. Quick calculation says that's over 48k sand not including the spare. One would have to be crazy to have mined so much. I *like* that :)
If you build... something... that can produce a given resource, but do not build any proper collection system to actually get the resource, does your built really count as a "farm"?
Easy use for your green dye
Decorate the facade as a giant cactus
That's genius!
I like the suggestion

How many items can a hopper transfer per second?
@@mcnuggets8921/3 of what the farm makes
@@mcnuggets892 2.5 items per second, 150 items per minute. Less with lag, which this farm will be very high in at full efficiency

true! maybe even splice it into 3 parts! bonemeal, greandye/xp and cactus itself
Amazing content. No notes.
the fact you didnt use ice to do the water shows the dedication you have to this world
I think it shows that he forgot you can use ice to place water sources
@@Maou3Oh boy someone's gonna be mad after reading comments if that's really the case
@@Maou3 I'd bet on that as well. Ice would have been so much easier...
I wasn't even the one that built it but I feel the relief of seeing this project finished after all these episodes.
juice you can pick up ice using silk touch and then break it again and it turns into water and it stacks to 64

Exactly. I'm just trying to play the game how I want to play it, without aiming to be the best player in the world.

Definitely on my list, but feel I need to give people a break from cactus for a bit 😅
Not using ice for the water is crazy
I'm glad this long lasting cactus farm arc is finally over. I'm sure this will get cut out in the filler-less version of the series in the future.
Watching the way you play minecraft hurts my brain but I can't stop. Love you

Madness! But very impressive. Well done!
What is a professional minecrafter? Juice you're the best! Miss the melon season.
The cactus farm kinda looks like a ghast now with all the chests in arranged like that
I can see what you mean. Just one with a crazy amount of legs
the parts of the video where you edit all the block placements together with faster and faster cuts are really impressive and satisfying. you must have a lot of patience.
if you plan on composting the cactus (or at least some of it), be aware that a stack of cactus provides between 4 and 5 bonemeal.
Thats exactly why he build such as massive farm
It's not much, but I've got so much cactus now it will help. Probably use most of it for green dye 😅
What are you going to use green dye for? Like green glass?

Storage tech is obviously this mans Passion
How did you know.....
Bro finnished his project and took a month long nap
Easy fix: change your textures so all of your undesirable blocks are chiseled stone bricks
Ah, you're a step ahead
Ideal method would be cure villagers, sell 1 stone for emerald and buy 4 chisel stone back
I keep meaning to do this, but keep putting it off because of how many villagers I have
You could encase the cactus farm In a massive cactus? If you want ideas for using the green dye
That's a good suggestion

theres a fish farm for bonemeal too thats pretty good

Definitely should've done this. Next time - if there is one - for sure.
Please make a single chest for the storage, you already spent so much time on the farm, a simple storage system is nothing. Great video.
I think I'm going to, just after a few episodes away from the cactus farm. I don't know if people could cope with another at the moment 😂
hell yeah, cactus

It's expensive

I mean, great job! This massive farm is absolutely amazing. But that storage system is getting on my nerves
PLEASE I BEG YOU, MAKE AN AFK TREE FARM
Tree farm is definitely on the list 💪🏻
I have seen cactus farms 10 times the size of this
you should make a 1536 furnace super smeler so you can smelt snand and your cactus fast. 6 lanes of 256.
That sounds like a large super smelter
You should use all the green die to decorate and make the cactus farm look like a giant cactus ( in case you forget what it is)
That's a good suggestion
you shouldve put the cactus before the fences because you can place the fences on the cactus faster than the roof
If another chance arises to build another cactus farm, I'll give it a trt
Juice i love you
