You may joke and interact with your friends a certain way and perhaps they do as well and hence you guys are friends but even among friends, not everyone in it jokes the same way or operate on the same wavelength and have the same way of thinking of certain things or more. We are collectively a species created by God with similarities yet also are deep down unique individuals with many specific, distinctive and unique differences. No one is exactly right or wrong. Maybe that lady hwayoung had a different sense of humor or perspective about certain aspects of things and perceived what she had with them wasn't pleasant and she didn't like it, and felt hurt and read it as being bullied and even said it out as so. Maybe they did bullied her, who knows. I don't and neither do anyone of you, except themselves. It is not always so straightforward. Perhaps they didn't bullied her after all, they were playing around, their perspective were this is how they engage people and especially when they get to know you better and see you as a friend, or at least among themselves, its all fun and games or playful banter but she took things seriously and or as explained had a different outlook or perspective. Things are not always so black and white. And its best to not take things at face value all the time and or assume and jump the gun and judge people.
Soyeon is a good leader,she always take care of her members very well.During performance she always correct the members position and also discuss with staff about t ara stage direction,she also good in talking and know how to mood up the crowd.She's also very smart and have good common sense.That is why many people love her so much.

This is my interpretation of what is happening here. It involves some speculation about people's thoughts and feelings, but I think it is credible and consistent with everything that I know about T-ara and this case. Soyeon's friend has just been sacked by the management after an argument among the group. That in itself is enough to make her feel sad, but there other things on her mind too. She and the other remaining members have been accused of bullying their friend; their reputation has been ruined and she says they were “really shocked and upset.” Soyeon is the leader of the group and may feel that she has let Hwayoung down by not establishing a good enough relationship with her. I don't mean that it was a bad relationship, just that it wasn't robust enough to keep communication going when things became difficult. When Hwayoung went to the hospital and then returned to the hotel it was the lack of communication, or Soyeon's failure to persuade Hwayoung to attend the rehearsal, that led to the serious problems. In addition, Soyeon feels guilty about the tweets, which she admits were wrong. She makes no excuses for them, and at no stage does she give even a hint of anything negative about Hwayoung, because she doesn't want to hurt her again. At the time of the tweets she was disappointed with Hwayoung's behaviour, and Hwayoung was upset because she thought the others were not taking her injury seriously enough. Each side felt let down by the other, and it was all a result of poor communication and misunderstandings rather than any malice. Soyeon is deeply saddened because she has lost a member of her T-ara family. She is distressed because she been wrongly accused of bullying. Darn, let's just say the rumor start at 2012 but I become their fan like 2014 or 2015. I become their fan because of Ri-An (the character which Jiyeon act in). I thought it was just a little rumor when I search up T-ara and what it pop was T-ara Jiyeon slapping member or something like that. I thought it was impossible since Jiyeon does not look like that kind of person. To this day. I remain a fan. I feel so bad for their popularity, but over all their mental heath. I know I say things to friends that would be interpreted as bullying if someone else heard or saw it but that's just the way that we work. i think it's possible that different people get different impressions of the exact same thing they watch. some people are just more sensitive to emotional cues - not saying which side is correct, but obviously one side is going to be more correct than the other. in front of camera is when im sure they were all on their best behavior. hwayoung too had reasons to act natural with the members when they showed her more attention in front of cam. image is so important for these groups.

She's going to put things in the best light possible to reflect on her and the other members. Several things are obvious and have always been obvious. They never wanted additions to T-ara. That is plain as day... Hwayoung was never really accepted. Now the reason given is that she didn't work hard enough and took it for granted. That could be true or it could just be biased observation of someone they never wanted in the group because the members had made T-ara what it is/was.

Gonna watch the interviews to know more. The problem is that there are still some people who think that they "bullied" Hwayoung... I also think the characters just didn't quite fit together. But netizens faked evidence and let out facts in order to make T-ara seem like bad people with bad intentions... Besides most Korean Idols when they cry or laugh tend to cover their face b/c they are bashful. I think it's part of their culture, no clue, but just a trend I noticed. Hwayoung like any other idol can be forced out for any reason. These kids often sign very strict contracts that list an exorbitant amount of behaviors as breach of contract. The president might have kicked her out merely for making the group, him, or the company look bad. People take insults how they want it. If it seemed hurtful to hwayoung, it was hurtful. They might say they didn't bully her cause they were just teasing but to another person, from their point of view, simple things they could've said may have been taken seriously and hurt hwayoung a lot. U don't really know till u actually TALK to the person face to face how they really feel no cameras no nothing. I had a friend who bullied me in 5th-6th grade she used to do all these stuff friends do joke around and play but sometimes it went too far for me so I took the joking seriously. The video of "bullying" may not have seemed like they went too far but to hwayoung she was personally offended and u don't know what happens behind camera. I felt hurt by the things my friend said and did she said she wasnt bullying me but that's how I saw it, which was probably how hwayoung saw it, idk if bullying is seen differently in Korea than in the U.S but you never really know.The problem was that they posted it all over the Internet if u need help and need to talk speak face to face don't say it to the world where u can ruin ur reputation. But it's all based on perspective if she felt left out and it seemed like they didn't like her it's the way she took it to them it was playing around but to hwayoung she could've felt horrible about it. Usually bullying isn't the only problem, family problems, insecurities, childhood trauma, U never really know. Then as that builds up simple things make u feel really angry. By the way, I do feel bad for Hwayoung being dismissed since she's such a good rapper, but I also am starting to get a bit angry and frustrated that she's hiding in the shadows in all this controversy. If her statement's "apology for her attitude" was sincere, she would come out and publicly speak about it. The dismissal came just as the twitter messages were being circulated. So the dismissal made T-ara look bad. She actually said as much. Perhaps if the dismissal had come about when it wouldn't have made T-ara look bad she wouldn't have minded. Look, i'm not demonizing the girls necessarily. I'm glad Soyeon did this interview, but I think it's sad that the remaining T-ara members have to suffer because of irrational netizens ( both international and korean) and their terrible CEO. This is my interpretation of what is happening here. It involves some speculation about people's thoughts and feelings, but I think it is credible and consistent with everything that I know about T-ara and this case.
Soyeon's friend has just been sacked by the management after an argument among the group. That in itself is enough to make her feel sad, but there other things on her mind too. She and the other remaining members have been accused of bullying their friend; their reputation has been ruined and she says they were “really shocked and upset.” Soyeon is the leader of the group and may feel that she has let Hwayoung down by not establishing a good enough relationship with her. I don't mean that it was a bad relationship, just that it wasn't robust enough to keep communication going when things became difficult. When Hwayoung went to the hospital and then returned to the hotel it was the lack of communication, or Soyeon's failure to persuade Hwayoung to attend the rehearsal, that led to the serious problems.
In addition, Soyeon feels guilty about the tweets, which she admits were wrong. She makes no excuses for them, and at no stage does she give even a hint of anything negative about Hwayoung, because she doesn't want to hurt her again. At the time of the tweets she was disappointed with Hwayoung's behaviour, and Hwayoung was upset because she thought the others were not taking her injury seriously enough. Each side felt let down by the other, and it was all a result of poor communication and misunderstandings rather than any malice.
Soyeon is deeply saddened because she has lost a member of her T-ara family.
She is distressed because she been wrongly accused of bullying.
She feels she has failed Hwayoung and failed in her role as leader.
She is sorry for the pain caused by the twitter incident and wants to alleviate it; she will not do anything that might add to it.
With all this weighing on her mind, she has to appear on television and talk about it. She's not there to gain sympathy through a display of emotion, she's there to express her regret for what she has done wrong and to explain that the video evidence was edited to give a false impression, and that Hwayoung was like a sister to her and the other members. She has a job to do so she does not want to let her emotions take hold of her too much, and she just about makes it through that section of the interview.

I don't know a lot about other K-pop groups so I briefly looked up the Kara incident. Seems like the MCs were mean to them but I think Kara also reacted a bit weird. Gonna watch the interviews to know more.
The problem is that there are still some people who think that they "bullied" Hwayoung... I also think the characters just didn't quite fit together. But netizens faked evidence and let out facts in order to make T-ara seem like bad people with bad intentions... I don't get the hate and don't get why so many people believe it without researching further.
Emmy Fey Yeah the video is edited...they all are, what show isn't. Sometimes you don't need to do a lot of research to judge an expression. Besides most Korean Idols when they cry or laugh tend to cover their face b/c they are bashful. I think it's part of their culture, no clue, but just a trend I noticed. This girl is different (3:29) start from there. Anyways why is it so easy to believe that there was no bullying? There's bullying 24/7 honestly. No one saying those girl's are bad...reserve that for T-ara "haters''...no one up above is doing that.
none of us know what really happened and i don't think we ever will so seeing all these comments bashing on T-ara is really anoying me...im not trying to defend them but i don't think its fair for them that we make our own assumptions based on what we see online without really knowing their side of the story....
Hwayoung like any other idol can be forced out for any reason. These kids often sign very strict contracts that list an exorbitant amount of behaviors as breach of contract. The president might have kicked her out merely for making the group, him, or the company look bad. Doesn't really matter since there was no bullying and Hwayoung shouldn't have been forced out for something arbitrary
People take insults how they want it. If it seemed hurtful to hwayoung, it was hurtful. They might say they didn't bully her cause they were just teasing but to another person, from their point of view, simple things they could've said may have been taken seriously and hurt hwayoung a lot. U don't really know till u actually TALK to the person face to face how they really feel no cameras no nothing. I had a friend who bullied me in 5th-6th grade she used to do all these stuff friends do joke around and play but sometimes it went too far for me so I took the joking seriously. The video of "bullying" may not have seemed like they went too far but to hwayoung she was personally offended and u don't know what happens behind camera. I felt hurt by the things my friend said and did she said she wasnt bullying me but that's how I saw it, which was probably how hwayoung saw it, idk if bullying is seen differently in Korea than in the U.S but you never really know.The problem was that they posted it all over the Internet if u need help and need to talk speak face to face don't say it to the world where u can ruin ur reputation. But it's all based on perspective if she felt left out and it seemed like they didn't like her it's the way she took it to them it was playing around but to hwayoung she could've felt horrible about it. Usually bullying isn't the only problem, family problems, insecurities, childhood trauma, U never really know. Then as that builds up simple things make u feel really angry. Maybe she was depressed and felt lonely that's why she posted about it online maybe social media helped her get it out, Communication is really key. If you don't work things out and talk things out nothing will get solved. Just talk it out let them know what's bothering you. Put others feelings in consideration something may not look or feel the same way for someone else. Ik this is a dead scandal but all they needed was right communication

ive followed T-ARA for a long time and ive watched all their videos and theres really no sign of bullying ...remember those videos were of them in variety shows but if you see their fancams and other videos they are like sisters
By the way, I do feel bad for Hwayoung being dismissed since she's such a good rapper, but I also am starting to get a bit angry and frustrated that she's hiding in the shadows in all this controversy. If her statement's "apology for her attitude" was sincere, she would come out and publicly speak about it. People are dissing T-ara for not speaking of the matter (which was on the orders from the company), but shoudn't they also be dissing Hwayoung for the skirting the issue too?

The dismissal came just as the twitter messages were being circulated. So the dismissal made T-ara look bad. She actually said as much. Perhaps if the dismissal had come about when it wouldn't have made T-ara look bad she wouldn't have minded.
Look, i'm not demonizing the girls necessarily. Sometimes circumstances and personality clashes can make us ostracize one person - we have to all stay vigilant against such bullying.

i assume that this comment of yours remained 3 months ago..there was not a sufficient evidence for the bullying (since everything was misinterpreted by the angry anti's..manipulating pictures and videos) to the point that sbs and mbc have to apologize to t'ara for taking hwayoung's side promising her and the antis that t'ara will never be broadcast in their station...for some reason t'ara these days are doing so well.

They never admitted that there was bullying involved, nor it was ever proven and the evidence that jump out of nowhere everyday are being proven fake the day after. There is lack of evidence therefore I'm not picking sides and so should you. They are humans after all.

Whether they bullied her or not, they obviously didnt like her. They made snide remarks about her on SNS (which is a fact because they later apologized for it). Have you ever heard of a group where members do that to each other? They alienated HY, that's for sure.
shes skirting the issue because shes under CCMs watchful eye. just because shes no loner a t-ara member doesnt mean shes free to say whatever she wants. her future is still very much in the hands of CCM. especially if she has any intention of wanting to be part of t-ara again. shes keeping her mouth closed for good reason. let her focus on reflecting on her actions and making things right with those she hurt. spelling things out for the confused kids isnt something she needs to worry about.
not sure about "no good reason" but i do sympathize with them - if they hadn't been famous, bullying wouldn't have become a juicy piece of international news. and regular school kids who are not necessarily monsters engage in bullying all the time.
which also makes you realize that there's always a price for fame. being famous and "idolized' is great, but the public scrutiny will always be greater on your than for a regular person.

hwayoung tries really hard to be cheerful, but my impression didn't change after i watched the entire videos.

I think T-Ara is divided into two the unni and the dongsaeng. at the beginning of their debut the dongsaeng go to show and drama to get their name known then Soyeon go into variety as well. Well the other two is just..

Yes I have. Yonghwa admitted to beating up CN Blue's maknae. SNSD admitted to fighting and there are many other examples. This might shock you but it is a human to have conflicts. Those tweets would not have seemed malicious had Hyoyoung never implied that they cause Hwayoung to be sad. It's all about perception
I'm glad Soyeon did this interview, but I think it's sad that the remaining T-ara members have to suffer because of irrational netizens ( both international and korean) and their terrible CEO. Their sexy love promotions are doing well despite of the issue, I just hope this is a lesson for them to learn how to handle issues within the group better than posting their business online.

Maybe Hwayoung was intentionally bullied. Sometimes the more outgoing people make the more shy people awkward or uncomfortable. I've seen this happen plenty of times and the person that is considered the "bully" didn't realize they were hurting someone's feelings :(

Soyeon is pretty and talented but I don't think she was being sincere. I usually give people the benefit of the doubt but with her I'm not feeling it all.
