I installed vors tr4 275 35 19 on 19x9.5 35 mm offset for rears. It’s poking. I checked wheel there is stamp inside saying et22-35. I dont think with et35 shouldnt poke
+35 should not poke. My first set of wheels where +35 and I had an 8mm spacer on the rear to get them flush with a 275 tire. If yours says e22 I’d imagine they are actually +22
Hi, I just got the same wheels along with 255/40 R19 Continental Sportcontact 7 tires (square setup). They look a little bit stretched on 9.5, and it is visually more noticable on the rear side than in front, maybe I should have gone staggered just like you did. One question: ¿What is the right tire pressure for this setup (psi)?
I typically run 29psi rear and 32psi front. It was my preference based on the type of driving I used the car for. Tire pressure is something you can play with a bit.
I am planning on putting this exact setup on my Q however my suspension is completely stock at the moment. I know what is shown in the video is on coils but would you expect there to be poke with stock suspension or should it roughly still have the same flush fitment?
So I have anovia elder wheels 10 inch wide 40 offset with stock ride height was thinking 275 x 35 all around. Sounds like they will fit rear fine but will I need a slight fender roll on the fronts or just switch to 255 front? Using the "willtheyfit" site these wheels are close in fitment to your setup. That’s already an aggressive setup why would you think you need spacers? The closer the offset is to 0 the further out it pushes the wheel. If you’re trying to clear big brakes that will come down to design of the wheel. Not every wheel is the same so it makes that a bit more difficult to determine
i have a 2015 q50s and am currently running ESR cr1 19 x 9.5 +22. with michelin pilot sport 4s. they ride good but at high speeds, wheels shake a bit. I think they may be not balanced correctly. Just wondering if my wheels would cause that shakyness
I’m only going 18x8.5 because I want to be low without rolling fenders. I feel like if I were to get 19x8.5 with the drop I want I would have to roll the fenders an I don’t want to touch them, do you agree or should I go with 19s??
I talked about 19x9.5 in this video and never mentioned having to roll fenders. Depending on your offset, you would not need to roll fenders for an 18x8.5. Its a smaller wheel
Hello there. What would be the best optional tires fitment for the 2021 Q50s with OEM wheels? I would like a more flush looking without rubbing issues, I’m also considering lowering suspension for a little more stiffness but nothing crazy. Current OEM size Front 245/40ZR19 and Rear 265/35ZR19. Thank you in advance for your advice.
@@mazzone69 you can go a bit wider than stock generally but I think a 265 is probably the widest you’d won’t to go on stock wheels. Yo get better fitment you’d need to push the wheel out closer to the fender or with a different wheel
I have the same OEM wheels with same sizes in the front and the back? Did you go wider on the back or did you stay with the 265? Also, did you put spacers to push the tires flush with the fenders?
Some do it simply for fitment reasons-can’t fit a 275 in the front. But you have to consider what the car is used for. Drag racers have narrow tires in front for less friction. On a corvette with 325s in the rear, you would never put a 325 up front because it would be wild to steer that thing.

It can be aligned but depending how low you are you probably won’t get back to factory specs-but you wouldn’t want to if you’re lowered anyway. If you need more adjustment, then yes adjustable upper control arms for the front and control arms for the rear. I have videos on them.

I can’t remember off the top of my head. Look up hub bore diameter for Q50 it’s like 66.1 or something and then hub bore for the f14s and that’s your size

Hello just wanted to ask/get your perspective? I have a 2009 370z Touring , 114K miles. I'm going to install the AEM CAI, Fast Intentions RHFC and the Injen True Duel Full Catback Exhaust system. Also I'm having the Mishimoto upgraded radiator, stillen transmission cooler and the 25 Setrab oil engine cooler. With everything stated, is there major concerns I need to be aware of with all these modifications? Also I see you had your q50 tuned, could you feel a difference and was it beneficial and safe for the engine? Thank you
As long as your tuner knows what they are doing it is safe-and if your car is in good health of course. But with those modifications a tune is necessary. It won’t run properly or to it’s fullest potential with being tuned. Oil and trans cooler never hurts. Not totally necessary unless you’re tracking the car but it’s a good proactive step

I'm planning on running a square setup (due to awd) so im leaning towards 19x9.5 + 22 or + 30. around there. Will that clear my big brakes and which one would give me the most flush fitment. I’m not sure how wide the factory wheel is. I’m sure you can get wider than a 225 on there tho. Maybe a 235. The tire itself is more important that a few more mm of width though.

In the video I discuss how to get a flush look, which is 19x9.5 +29. That wheel is 1 inch wider than the one you asked about and the center is concaved 6 inches more than the one you mentioned. If you can visualize that, your wheel would be in from the fender a half inch or more.

@@JM-ku2in yes! I got Aodhan AFF7 19/8.5 +35 all around and put them 255/40/19 Conti DWS and the cars look so wide and mean, and rides so much better. Those rims were just about 20lb a piece and forged

@@bva2321 whomever told you that has zero clue what theyre talking about. dont ever listen to them ever again for anything. widest tire that will fit under the car without poking out is a 325/30/19. you can pair that with a 275/35/19 staggered fitment for AWD models because theyre identical tire diameter, no problems at all.
If the overall diameter is small/larger than your factory wheels, yes. But there is a calculator online that allows you to calculate the difference so you know
I thought I mentioned it in the video, but they are not different in how wide the wheels can be. It is the diameter of the wheel that matters. They can be different widths as long as the diameter is within 1% front to back.
I’m getting esr RF2 aswell for my q50s and pretty sure 19x9.5 +22 will work since theirs a few others running that size. That’s my concern to because of the big brakes.

Hard to know without knowing the wheels-every wheel has a different design, but the size you mention “generally” fits. Just don’t go crazy with tire size

Thanks for the info. Is there anyway, in you opinion, to run an 18" x 9.5" and clear the sport big brakes. I run a 18" x 9.5" +30 with a 14" rotor and Baer 6 piston calipers on my 2004 SVT COBRA. I'd like to run an 18" to reduce rotational mass even further and the tires are cheaper.
cheap 18s wont clear, decent ones will. since youre familiar with mustangs, sn95s at least, this may be of help. most wheels offsets that fit s197 and s550 mustangs will exactly fit Q50s. an enkei RPF1 18x9.5 +45 OR +38 will both fit and theyre both ~17.5lbs.

My stock q50 2018 luxe. Has oEM 18’ rims. Comes with 225/50r18 but what tire would be best for better grip bc I got RWD

I don’t know what you mean by old fitment. These are the only wheels I ran with the big brakes. They cleared without spacers.

@@JM-ku2in yes! I got Aodhan AFF7 19/8.5 +35 all around and put them 255/40/19 Conti DWS and the cars look so wide and mean, and rides so much better. Those rims were just about 20lb a piece and forged
Hi there! Thank you for the Q50 content! I was wondering what difference would it make if i went with a square tire setup on those same wheels. So 255/40/19 all around. Do you think I'd have issues with the tire sticking out? I have the exact same car as your's.

Did you listen to the video? A 255 is a narrower tire than the rear tires I described at 275 so so there will not be any poking out.

Speedculture I see your offset is +29. Is the 3.7 bodystyle a little different from the 3.0? I thought with a 9.5 wheel and a +35 offset it would be flush.
+35 is close to flush, but not quite. That’s what I had before with a 8mm spacer as I mentioned in the video.
I just got a good deal on my first set of wheels+tires 18x9.5 +22 & im starting to regret the offset. Seems like everyone is running +29 to +35. Will I need any adjustment? Will I poke or tuck in too much? Any tips?
Might have slight poke depending on how low you go. Also tire size will play into it. Might need control arms to adjust

Yes-no problem at all. A 275 on a 9.5 is not even pushing it. You saw all the pictures in the video, right? Not even a bulge
@Speed Culture Studios Yes, seen all the pics. Been following for a while. Setup looks slick. Best in the biz. Someone once told me that going bigger than 255 on a 9.5 better have a stiff sidewall. I'm awd on 245 tho. Think the biggest I would go is 255 all around. Unless I could go bigger. Lol
@@bva2321 thanks for following along! But whoever told you that is nonsense. I wouldn’t go wider than a 275, but there is no risk to the sidewall. Indy 500s are known to be a little soft and I still don’t get any tire roll.

widest tire that will fit under the car without poking out is a 325/30/19. you can pair that with a 275/35/19 staggered fitment for AWD models because theyre identical tire diameter, no problems at all.

Listen to what I said about the AWD models lol. Specs are no different, just have to consider tire size if you're doing a staggard setup.

Front no problem. Rear will need some adjustable arms. You can see what a 19x9.5 +29 looks like in the video. There was not much room.

If the overall diameter is small/larger than your factory wheels, yes. But there is a calculator online that allows you to calculate the difference so you know
can you specify whether this information is for RWD or AWD models? they are both totally different as far as how wide a wheel and tire set up can be
I thought I mentioned it in the video, but they are not different in how wide the wheels can be. It is the diameter of the wheel that matters. They can be different widths as long as the diameter is within 1% front to back.

Rear yes, front you’d likely get some rubbing depending on wheel design and stance-but you’ll have a bit more room with an 18 than a 19

I’m getting esr RF2 aswell for my q50s and pretty sure 19x9.5 +22 will work since theirs a few others running that size. That’s my concern to because of the big brakes.

I have a 2018 Q50 Red Sport AWD. What wheel/tire spec would you recommend. I have not modified my suspension, nor plan to at the moment. Would 19x9.5 +29 wheels and Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 tires work on all four wheels by clearing the brakes and not rub on the fenders?
Hard to know without knowing the wheels-every wheel has a different design, but the size you mention “generally” fits. Just don’t go crazy with tire size
I was thinking 255x40R19 for all four tires and getting the Firehawk Indy 500s. Do you see any concerns with FORGESTAR F14 wheels for these tires and my sport breaks? Will spacers be required? Lastly, What is the difference (just offset I suspect) between the FORGESTAR F14 ULTRA DEEP CONCAVE and regular FORGESTAR F14 wheels?@@SpeedCultureStudios
If I’m trying to get nearly flush with 19x10.5 with +30 with 255s should be fine with the sport brakes it seems like.
Might have some wheel poke but tires might tuck. If you have adjustable control arms I’m sure you can make it work

Thanks for the info. Is there anyway, in you opinion, to run an 18" x 9.5" and clear the sport big brakes. I run a 18" x 9.5" +30 with a 14" rotor and Baer 6 piston calipers on my 2004 SVT COBRA. I'd like to run an 18" to reduce rotational mass even further and the tires are cheaper.
Some 18s clear the big brakes and some don’t. I test fitted 18” aodhans on the Q and they would not fit.

cheap 18s wont clear, decent ones will.
since youre familiar with mustangs, sn95s at least, this may be of help. most wheels offsets that fit s197 and s550 mustangs will exactly fit Q50s.
an enkei RPF1 18x9.5 +45 OR +38 will both fit and theyre both ~17.5lbs.

I'm am not against owning a auto Q50, I had an auto G35X, but if it had stick I'd think of it more as an toy than I do now.
