She's so sweet bless her , what an amazing survivor
Very well-spoken and kind-hearted lady! Truly a gem!
I have watched so many of these interviews, and this woman is the most riveting. Not only did she have an inborn intuitive survival sense, she also seems to have miraculously retained an almost child-like way of delivering this story that makes it all the more heartbreaking.
You are absolutely accurate in your assessment of her testimony. She is a beautiful soul, and it is shameful that any human being had to put up with the atrocities that she experienced and witnessed. God bless her.
Yes, she is truly magnificent, God bless her - her testimony must bless everyone who hears it, thank you Lord for protecting this little girl when she cried to you for help (Psalms 30 & 31) you answered her straight away with "Run!"
Your story is full of miracles. Awesome. Thank you.
Strength, fortitude...dignity
All of these...and more come to my mind when I see this.
wonderful woman.wonderful testimony
Precious lady.
What an amazing woman to survive on her own for many years ,living rough and without her family .
She's beautiful and I've loved listening to her ,I wish I had the pleasure of meeting her ,and she's right Krakow is stunning .
I would love to have gave her the biggest cuddle on the planet .xxxxxx
I listened to what this lady went through as a young child it makes me ill in my gut thè many SS who got away with what they did to so many families during those years of evil.
When your interviewing the holocaust victims, you shouldn't just say,...."Were going t change the tape now". It sounds terrible, and I can see it in there eyes, the shock of the abrupt manner, when thy are talking to you, opening themselves up. Its careless, and I mention it because I hope someday someone reads it, and changes how they talk to victims like this. Try something like,..."Im sorry I have to break in at this time, but we need to change out tape, so we can continue the testimony." Nothing bugs me about these witnesses, as I see it does you Beatrix, other than that you even make such statements, admit the world committed an atrocity and stop looking for any kind of excuse in doing so. If your german, accept your people, did this. If you are Polish accept it. Only in admitting what was done wrong, can we learn from the past and hope for a better future. The constant dance between jew and Gentile is the very thing God hates.
Love they neighbor as thyself. KISS Method. keep it simple stupid.
Agreed!
A lot of these interviewers are rude, abrupt and impatient..why?
Gestapo
they have to be objective towards the Survivors, as there can be no bias, so that we that watch these interviews - know there was no 'interferrance' - etc, no bias - just the Survivor's story
She's actually very good.
How sweet the Catholic Christian lady was 😇lots of love ....🕊
This was wonderful...she has a wounded heart so sad...Only one thing...I never went through what this lady suffered...BUT..I was from a home..where my parents were good caregiver....my mother didn't know how to be compassionate when I was hurt..physically or emotionally..she had no clue...I as a mother remembered what I didn't get from my parents that I longed for...I knew my children needed what I didn't get...They were my treasures in this Life...My parents had 5 children...they were not their treatures in this life..
Your parents may have had too many children. I came from a family of six and it was hard on my parents for sure.
A miracle that message, I can see that 9 year old girl.. Incredible testimony.
You brave brave girl. Bless you for sharing this awful experience.
The sadness is so visible around her eyes. What a world we live in.
GOOD AND EVIL IS RANDOMLY DISTRIBUTED IN THIS LIFE. ALWAYS WE SEARCH A REASON FOR SUFERING. EVEN IF YOU PARY YOU MAY SUFFER
What a delightful testimony. I love you very much Miss Steiglitz.
What a wonderful woman. God bless you
Thank you for your testimony.
Her dead Grandmother was constantly looking out for her.
This beautiful & intelligent lady let’s us know that a holocaust survivor doesn’t have to go to a concentration death camp to be a survivor.
Well the interviewer FINALLY stopped butting in again and again and again BUT then towards the end she went back t o her old irritating habit and thankfully Frieda pretty much put her in her place.
Really INTERVIEW not INTERRUPT !
My eyes teared when she spoke of her grandmother "not making it." I never had grandparents I knew because of my parent's divorce and our broken-apart family. I can only imagine her feelings and desperation and it does not feel good in the slightest to see and hear her speak about the hurt she unjustly experienced. Such a brave little girl and a wonderful woman who relives her past so we can understand the reality of the Holocaust on the Jewish people.
Beautiful Frieda and beautiful.grand mother
I swear my Beloved Auntie was the most beautifull person , woman, and my 2 cousins (girls) also so beautiful thay live in US somewhere.I left in 1977 and my beauty cusins after me.My cusins look like my BELOVED AUNTIE.So beautifull even my father fall for my mother sister so beautyfull.
Rude interviewer. Wish they would just listen and stop interrupting constantly.
I agree! The interviewer is very rude!
don't like how uncompassionate her tone of voice is
True but having watched so many I honestly think they had certain questions to get through in the sequence of events as they happened so they’re trying to steer the interviewee. But for the majority their tones could’ve sounded more compassionate.
She's really good. It also gives some respite to the survivor's hard-to-listen-to voice.
I didn''t think it was possible but this woman is more enamorated with the British monarchy than my mom is...
It wasn’t your brain telling you....God was talking to you! He loves all of his children!!
That interviewer is so abrupt and rude… “ I’m changing the tape “ “ What year was that ? “ with no emotion or compassion.
Not even an excuse me…
Thank you so much!
One more think when I went to Poland I went to Treblika and Auswitz (Oswiecim) its so shocking feeling you have to go there to understand that feeling I swear.
What a beautiful and special woman.
what a great lady, no one can fathom what she had was o go through as little child. I can’t believe her father left them all. Sure he found another woman and did not care much about what was happening in Poland.
For those complaining about this interviewer must not have heard many of these, because this interviewer is actually really good. Her interruptions are valid. I've heard at least 70 of these. There are really bad interviewers, not this one. Also, no disrespect, but this survivor's voice is really hard to listen to.
Right out of the gate the interviewer can't seem to let this lady finish a sentence without interrupting with a completely unrelated question. I hope it changes.
Her interruptions were valid.
@@binkytube And yet they were poorly timed and very disruptive to the flow of this woman's story.
@@doranconroy5107 There are A LOT of worse ones. On a scale of 1 to 10, this interviewer is only a 3.
@@binkytube Ahahahah ! I guess you are RIGHT ! ahahahahha
What an awesome life of survival
Omg why didnt the interviewer Try to direct this a bit???
Brave lady
I don't get how the Jewish woman in semi-hiding who refused to allow her into her home was understandable but the Polish woman who gave her a cross, tried to give her a Catholic name and baptism certificate to help her if she was caught somehow had a bad ulterior motive.
Also a little puzzled on her rejection of a sprinkle of holy water. When Catholic friends come to my home, they respect us and follow our customs. We do the same for them.
She was a traumatized child without family or home living in a war zone with bombing and killing around here....Under fed and little sleep on the run for her life learning her grandmother and sister as a 9yo child were gunned down. I dont think you can compare your reasoning and life as a child to her and what she was thinking. Her state was just fear.
Jozie Molody you try being hunted due to sicko ideologies and see how suspicious and paranoid you’d be and let’s see how your decision making skills and perception skills hold up. Maybe shut up and stop passing judgment when you have no idea how this would be.
THERE IS NO JEWISH ALNGUAGE. BUT THERE IS HEBREW AND YIDDISH. THE POOR LADY IS CONFUSED ABOUT THE OLD OLD MEMORIES. HOSE FRANCIS,
COCHIN, INDIA.
THE MOTIF OF THE SUFFERING JEW/ THE WANDERING JEW OVER THE
LAST WO THOUSAND YEARS
She was 10-12. All she knew was Jewish. It’s a race not just a religion. Strong little girl. She said many times she was in survivor mode. Who was she to trust?
STIGLITZ THE ECONOMIST?

Ezekiel 22:4 "Oholah was the name of the elder and Oholibah the name of her sister. They became mine, and they bore sons and daughters. As for their names, Oholah is Samaria, and Oholibah is Jerusalem."
Samaria and Jerusalem are the harlots Ezekiel is talking about in such colorful way:

Consider this inflammatory passage from the Hebrew English Bible, enough to bring a blush to any maidenly cheek: There she lusted after her lovers whose genitals were like those of donkeys and whose emission was like that of horses. So you longed for the lewdness of your youth when in Egypt your bosom was caressed and your young breasts fondled. (Ezekiel 23: 20-21).
