To the people saying Jared's line should have been Laurens and not Burr. The lines don't fit Laurens at all.

It fits Burr a lot because of Hamilton's strive to be better than his political enemies, and Burr is one of them

It actually makes more sense with Laurens. Burr actually wanted this to happen, or he was at least a part of it. He's not related or involved with anybody who was badly effected by the Reynolds pamphlet so he wouldn't do this. Laurens' ghost would've made more sense to be honest.

been watching this on repeat for the past few days and had an idea.
First verse could be Laurens talking about Alexander and Eliza, second verse is Eliza addressing the Reynolds Pamphlet, and third verse is Lafayette talking about Alexander convincing Washington to not aid France in their fight for freedom.
and it works well because I believe that's in chronological order of how those events occur in the musical as well. Also all events occur thanks to Alexander's skill with speech and writing [letters to Eliza, writing Reynolds Pamphlet, and writing the statement of neutrality]

I love the fact that there is Burr too: in my opinion, if we don't count the "work's problems" Burr really cared about Alex, but he's calm by nature so he doesn't show it; so Burr felt really bad about Alex ruining his own life and the lifes of Eliza, Angelica and Philip, the ones who didn't deserve it (sorry my bad english)

But overall the song actually really fits the Reynold's Pamphlet + Congratulations sequence really well, and you did an amazing job capturing the whole 'betrayed' feeling of the fiasco ^^

The pamphlet was published on 1797, Washington died in 1799, so he was alive.
Fun fact, after the pamphlet Washington wrote a letter of pure friendship to Hamilton, and his wife sent the Hamiltons a wine chiller as a gift, which then became Eliza and Alex's most prized possession.

Okay, I really like how you put Aaron Burr as Jared because the line, "... and if somebody's in your way, crush them and leave them behind." can refer to Aaron Burr since Hamilton made Jefferson win in the Election of 1800. I know Eliza and Angelica were somewhat chill with Hamilton during the Election of 1800, but I find that really cool. Maybe I just looked way too deep into this.

I love this animatic, but my only critique is that this dog doesn't go well with Hamilton. I mean the basic theme does, but I honestly think that this song just doesn't fit right. And this wasn't a long time coming; Alex stopped the affair by the time Eliza had come back. So, I wouldn't say that Eliza would say she was "dragged along". And Burr didn't necessarily care about Alex's affair; he was quite happy, because it gave him a better chance of becoming president. Other than that, this animatic was absolutely amazing, and I really enjoyed it! Keep up the good work!

To all you guys confused about Burr I think I understand why he is in this. If you remember the room where it happens it should make a lot of sense since in that song he is constantly envious of Hamilton. You also have to remember your obedient servant in that song Burr is enraged at Hamilton for a lot of reasons. So it really does make a lot of sense when you look into it.
