No true. Raza here in TX had no respect for macho, we don’t like big mouths
Both fighters are amazing....!! The macho mans legacy will never die....!!!! He is awesome to watch when he is on he is unstoppable.... Julio Cesar Chavez is obviously one of the greatest ever also and it would have been a treat to see both fight each other in the prime years of time but i still see julio winning because this is a stylistic matchup.... neither guy can beat the clock it is always ticking and these guys should be looked at as all time greats... both are totally amazing fighters
Thumbnail got me dying😭
That’s Juan Nazario in the green trunks
I was a huge Hector fan in the 80's early 90's. When I would see him on the news getting into trouble 2 years before his death I always yelled at the TV, get the hell out of Puerto Rico Hector. My wife would always come in the living room and say,who are you talking to? I would answer, Hector got in trouble again. She would laugh and say,you really like that guy don't ya. Yes if you saw he's fights you would to..
Chavez was great and the better fighter, but we still love the Macho Man.
DUDE THAT THUMBNAIL IS THE BEST OF ALL BOXING THUMBNAILS 😂😂😂 GOAT THUMBNAIL 😂😂😂
81-0, why did the make such a big deal of Floyd going to 50-0? (mostly fighting bums and washed up greats) 81-0 was insane
I remember watching this fight live and was impressed with how Chavez dominated Camacho. Chavez was relentless and hit Camacho with hard punches from different angles. I’m surprised Camacho survived the 12 rounds. Chavez is the 🐐
Chavez looked fresh all the way through the fight! He had tough skin
Respect for both great legends. I came across Macho Camacho in Boston and he was casual and funny with me.
That thumbnail is crazy 💀💀
I didn't think anyone would handle Camacho like Chavez did, I never gave Camacho marks for courage, but he fought it out and hung in there like a true warrior.
81-0 and fakewather claiming he’s the only and first 50-0. Here it is
Respeto para Camacho. De un Mexicano que le gusta ver boxear a Guerreros de verdad. Nacho se fajó contra uno de los más grandes y aunque perdió, perdió de pie 🫡
Gah damn Chavez was relentless constant pressure.
That Don King was a smooth chiseling gangster! $3 million for each boxer, $100 million for King. The player of players. 😂
And to think that Camacho stopped Ray Leonard……can anyone imagine Camacho stopping MMH
Leonard was 41 years old and far past his prime. Leonard did that for the money so don't consider that a huge achievement for Camacho.
@@jacktorrance2633 I don’t,I see it as Leonard getting paid back for waiting years until Hagler had gone through punishing battles and was past his prime. The ignominy of getting stopped by a feather fisted Camacho..Karma
Who is MMH
@@BotchedInvestigation Marvelous Marvin Hagler
What a wonderfully worded and respectful story is. Thank u for sharing.
The Mexican beat the hell out of Macho Camacho and dropped Mayweather Floyd Jr father that quit on Chavez SR! 89 wins NO losses! Incredible record by Chavez SR! Camacho backed away from Chavez SR ALL night 🌃🌉! ✅✅✅✅✅
He was one of the greatest but he was lucky to have got a draw v Whitaker and extend his unbeaten record a little.
@@mizofan Chavez SR and PACQUIAO ad Duran had a far better record than Mayweather Floyd Jr who should be in the Hall of Shame.... GGG alone had 38 KOS,. Duran had over 101 fights!! Mayweather Floyd Jr has a POOR record! ....✅✅✅✅
The one the only true pound for pound Boxer Julio Cesar Chavez!!
How I miss the time when boxers really boxed before Floyd Mayweather came into the scene and ruined boxing forever with his dancing.😢
#blackdiamondpresscomix🇺🇸bk23 looking back! This was a great feature that lived Up to the hype!!
That was dope. RIP Macho Man! Thanks for the entertaining fights and all you did for boxing. Chavez, well, I'm proud to wear that as my last name.
Chaves had stamina for days
Buenos boxeadores los puerto riqueños.me alegra que tengan. Como rivales a los mexicanos de otra manera hubiera sido muy fácil para ellos.viva Puerto Rico y que viva México cabrones...
you know Puerto Rico is part of the United States right?
Who asked ?
I remember Chavez saying before the fight that he wasn't going to knock him out, because he wanted to give him a beating lol
81fights & 67 KO's yet Mayweather says he is the best ever with 50 wins , no comparison
He did spend most of his fights fighting people from the crowd
Mayrunner could outrun any boxer he ever fought. He should have been matched with Usain Bolt. I bet Mayrunner could beat Usain, that's how much and how fast he ran. He's not even in the top 30 of all time good fighters not to mention great fighters.
At least Mayweather fought real fighters. Chavez fought bums his whole career, foh. Overrated can crusher. Sanchez the goat of Mexican boxing
@@guyphoto9437That’s why you are talking about him instead of literally anyone else.
@@Jlastinger88 Chavez knocked the snot out of Mayrunners Dad. He would have done the same thing to Mayrunner Jr. if they were both in their prime. No comparison. Chavez was a warrior, Mayrunner is a track star, who bought off judges.
Chavez style was so hard to stop. He just comes towards with body head movement throwing punches. The goat
Camacho didn't beat Mancini
That thumbnail😂😂😂😂😂😂Chavez looked like Tito Santana coming off the ropes with the flying elbow
Camacho never had that ko power
12:51 Not a year prior. A week or so prior.
Mexico over Puerto Rico all day long!
Great fight,im from mexico but shout out to PR boxers !
Camacho was a great talented fighter that lack discipline. The ring was the smallest possible also to help Chavez cut it faster. Camacho said he was going to stand with him and he did. Chavez gave him credit for doing it. I saw this fight live. Camacho was living a crazy lifestyle. Chavez is the greatest Mexican fighter ever.
There was and is no one like the king of Boxing Julio Cesar Chavez, the Cesar.
I watched this fight as a kid. I was a Chavez fan. That night, it was amazing. Now watching Camacho years later, I have a new found respect for him. He was a great fighter.
To go undefeated as long as Chavez did tells it all what a great champion he was. He beat good fighters too, Camacho, Rosario, Castillo and Taylor.
I think the De La Hoya vs Trinidad fight that took place seven years later reminded me of this fight so much, both fighters were the same nationalities and both fights were huge
Oscar De La Hoya is an American not a Mexican, And don't you forget that.
@jamesnorton7601 the Mexicans in Mexico also believe this
Good, that's their country. Oscar's ID says state of California, USA. Born and breed in the USA. So if you were born and breed in the USA. You are an American too. @@357_SWAGNUM_MAGA_X
The macho man his impressive attitude brought millions of fans out every time …. Rip to the macho man
This was an outstanding fight between two outstanding fighters. Neither fighter disappointed, and both fought valiantly to the end. I believe that both fighters deserve a win, but Chavez ultimately prevailed. Chavez demonstrated great endurance and the ability to evade Hector's punches. Camacho's performance was nothing short of spectacular, and he deserves recognition for his efforts.
Chavez held it down, a true warrior and boxing legend 💯💪🏾🔥
He was an exciting boxer and had hella personality! I really enjoyed this guy. 🥊
