Yoshi in Chief Chilly Challenge (Super Mario 64 DS)

This is an old trick that was spread by people such as yodelerty and Swordless Link in early Super Mario 64 DS glitching.

In Super Mario 64 DS, there is a way to make it on the other side of the mirror room where the Snowman's Land painting and Chief Chilly Battle paintings are found without Luigi.
The usual way is for Luigi to use a Power Flower from on top of one of the small display pillars to make him partially invisible and able to move through the mirror, but with good movement and the right angle it is possible (although difficult) for a character other than Luigi including Yoshi, Mario and Wario to long jump or slide higher than usual against the tall right-most pillar directly next to the mirror and clip through it.
It may be a good idea to run while doing this, and I decided to try tapping X to adjust the camera angle while long jumping. I do not know whether this affects how Yoshi moves through the mirror or not though.
When Yoshi fights Chief Chilly, Yoshi may not be able to use his tongue to attack him but can push him by ground pounding against him.
When Yoshi fights Chief Chilly, the game uses two unused messages for his speech (because it is normally impossible to fight Chief Chilly as Yoshi; you can play as the other characters with caps, but there is no way to transform temporarily into Yoshi):
Confrontation message:
"Hmm? I see you have no
mustache. Poor, bald, little
creature.
It's not a fair fight for
you, but luckily, I'm not a
fair fighter. Let's go!"
Defeat message:
I simply cannot believe
that I lost to a hairless
pip-squeak like you!
My mustache was my only
joy. Now what am I
going to do?
