You ended up using the pressing hand to both create the fixation AND tip the head, but it was smooth enough to catch the moment and the head tilt ended up being kind of the reinforcement..
Hi Monte D With hypnosis, as with all communication, the art is to get a lot out of a little. These are the kinds of skills I break down in detail on my Hypnosis Skills Bootcamps.
There are different choices... I tend to go with what feels right in the moment. I think in the demos on the Handshake Interrupt I run with a few different choices.
The best answer to this, on reflection, is NO induction method is the best induction method for the unsuspecting - ie leave out the induction and go in under the radar (depending on the outcome you want)
Great job James! Your vids explain me more about do hipnosis then two full days fundamental hipnosis course with masters at Dublin. and long weeks researching yt for useful tips catch together:)
JamesTrippTV Hey man i have a question i'm trying to do the hypnosis with my 12 year old sister and shortly after i go into the induction she drops her head down but after that she seems to be able to open her eyes i just can't seem to do the hypnosis correctly i tried the hand shake a lot of times but i wanted to ask that what induction do you think would be easier and more effective to do for a beginner?
HellTieStudios Hypnosis isn't mind-control, it is the facilitation of experience. She probably just doesn't want to go along with it. Solution? Find people who do!

I don't use 'scripts' as such, but it is a strategic piece. The concept is 'witchdoctoring'... action that communicates meaningfulness where there is none :-) I will pretty much always go with the right hand whatever they say.
Hi James, I'm really curious on your thoughts about what you shared in this video with everything you've discovered in the last 9 years. I think that that would be an awesome video!
Thanks for your reply, James. As someone who's never tried hypnosis, how difficult would you rate the handshake interrupt on a scale from 1-10? Also, considering the suspect would be unsuspecting, I take it that the handshake interrupt wouldn't require any prepping with the subject? (Informing them beforehand what will occur, etc)?
It certainly isn't difficult, but it is worth practising until you have it down smooth. My recommendation is to work on the mechanics with someone, and don't worry about them 'going into hypnosis' (the hypnosis is 80% in the framing, which you will not be worrying about when you practise the mechanics). Hope that helps! J
Sometimes there are customers who are OK to whatever, but don't follow instructions for some internal reason, and open their eyes in Elman's. So would this induction help or what would you recommend for them? k
Hi James! I'm sorry for the dumb question, but I am really confused about the Hand drop induction. It's been a while since I've been trying to master it, but with no luck. I've tried it on friends and family, who are generally positive about the thought of being hypnotised to higher my chances, but I still fail in it for some reason. They seem to bring themsleves out after a sencond or so of dropping their hands. Is there any way to prevent this? When I asked them about what they felt, they mostly said that, they felt a "weird but comfortable feeling coming over them, then leaving."
I just recently stumbled upon your videos while searching the internet for mentalism(just saw the movie Now You See Me) and I was wondering what is possible to be done once I have done the induction to a person? Can I give them commands and make them perform tasks and actions or will they be too in a state of awareness to actually get up and move and do such things?
Oh, and I totally lied, that wasn't my last question! :P Any suggestions on what to say once you do the pattern interrupt? Should you automatically deviate into something like "sleep" (just a simple command), or more of a story line like "the more you stare at your hand, the heavier your eyes get", etc?
I have an interesting question based on my own personal experience. I have "successfully" hypnotised six people of which only one spoke English as a first language. The others were two Icelandic, one Finnish and two Swedish people, needless to say their level of English was very good. Do you have any thoughts on why it seems easier for me to hypnotise people that don't speak English as their first language as opposed to those that do? It's been puzzling me for a while.
hi James I am learning cal bayan 8 words like Wat u did but I tried in class but this gal just would won't go sonammbilsm n Wat shall I do this time pls advice
+careeruwant air I'd love to be able to help you here but unfortunately, without seeing you work, it is impossible for me to give you any meaningful pointers on what you could be doing differently.
Tried this with my partner, she got a massive fright, are shock inductions not suited to jumpy people or was the shock not enough to interrupt her thought pattern? Any tips appreciated!
Connor McCardle Personally, the only time I would use this these days is to set up an ‘affect bridge.’ For ‘regression’. If your wife is jumpy and doesn’t respond well to this style, go for something different!
hi James! im 13 years old and i want to learn how to hypnotize people. this induction looks good for me and i want to learn it. i watched a lot of videos of this induction but i cant get it to work. i tried like 100 times on my sister and a friend but it doesnt work. i have no clue what im doing wrong. So my question is: What beginners often do wrong when they try to hypnotize people? :)

yes!! this is exactly what i was looking for . thanks James

Sir well explained.. Thank you very much... Thanks a lot..... I'm so much happy to listen...

Probably one of my favorite rapid inductions. It gives more room for error than an arm pull, I think.
I guess you just gave me the topic for my next video! I'll get it together over the next couple of days.

Good sound advice thanks James
Hi Rustynails. Probably a handshake interrupt... you can find a video on that via my Channel Page. All the very best, James.
I appreciate it, last question, would you just elaborate on what you mean by the framing?
Thanks John! You're welcome!
I love this video.Thanks.....a big Thanks.
When you ask what hand is their dominate hand, do you do the opposite, or is it just part of the script?

Very informative as usual James.

***** I don't think it is about the 'induction' so much as the framing and client management.
Hey James,
What induction methods would you say are most useful on an unsuspecting individual?

Pickdam Hi Pickham. My best suggestion is to give clear direction do go further in. Get clear about where you want to lead them and lead them there!
Thank you, Hypnotherapylebanon!
Is there a book that you would recommend for this?
Or a good book for NLP? Thanks.
Ok :) thanks for answering my question. And you should know that your videos are very interesting to watch :D

What inductions would u recommend for beginners?
Julie B Hand to face.... any induction really! I started out with a version of the 'Betty Erickson'
At 4.40 the chair disappears
Good catch.

Perhaps it is because they are focusing more intently on your speech, it not being their native language.

Blimey that was a good
I've practiced a lot with my brother but it still hasn't worked
Look up my Practising on Friends and Family video!
I really like your video but I would like to know how to get the person out of there trance?
Noa Schroeder The answer is simple - lead them! Know where you want to take them ('in' or 'out') and use your communication to lead them there.

If person doesnt know English then how to give 'Sleep' command to them?
+Sumit Rajpura I assume most languages have an equivalent word? That said, the sleep command is a choice - it is not necessary.
+JamesTrippTV Ok. Thanks.. Sir..
Do you have any tips on hypnotism? Some people can be hypnotised and others can't.
Pansages Gaming I have MANY tips on hypnotism. Search the channel or, better still, sign up as a free member on the website.
heya... which induction do you prefer?
Generally I prefer no 'induction' ritual at all (which is the approach I teach in the Hypnosis Without Trance Hypnosis Mastery Programme).
H ADepressedwhale. Can I recommend that you watch the How to Hypnotize... Without Trance video series here on my channel? Start with part 1. It will answer many of your questions.
what kind of hypnosis use in enemy
Christon Moreno Self hypnosis... to stop hating on people or being bothered by haters ;)

Great, like I said, I really appreciate your replies; can't wait for your next video!
Why do you have to touch the back of their head?
You don't have to. But in this instance it is a powerful form of non verbal communication. Helps orientate them into the desired physiology.
nice :)
Hypnosis is not sleep
That's right
