None of this is new information. Her book came out in 1985 and the 4 hour mini-series came out in 1988. Anyone can read it. She,also, has talked about their relationship in numerous interviews over the years. Just by looking at the trailers, I feel that they are working overtime to emphasize her age. The actor playing Elvis is much taller Elvis himself. Intentionally make her look childlike throughout the entire movie. The clip of them getting married makes her look like she was 14. She was only a few months from her 22 birthday. I have never had any problem with her leaving Elvis. That whole “sex, drugs, and rock and roll” thing would be a hard marriage to be in. I , personally, would have never married the man. I do have problems with her presenting herself as the widow and making money off of him after being divorced for 40 years. She put herself back into the spotlight when the Elvis movie came out, produced Agent Elvis, and made this movie just a year after the Elvis movie. $$$. Could she not have just given him more than a year before she had to make it all about her? When she contested Lisa Marie’s wish that her daughter, Riley, become executor of her trust upon her death that was the nail in the coffin for me. Come to find out, Priscilla was being paid close to a million dollars to be a co- executor of her daughter’s trust. Riley settled the matter out of court as not to drag it on and incur more legal fees. As part of the settlement, Priscilla got a payout of a million dollars, a yearly salary, her legal cost, AND the right to be buried next to Elvis and his parents after 40 years of being divorced.
