BEST Hybrid Option? 2024 Toyota RAV4 Limited!!

- The Hybrid powertrain feels "right" in this 2024 Toyota RAV4 Limited... 39MPG feels right, the power delivery is solid, and the comfort is exceptional. This is my first time getting behind the wheel of a Toyota RAV4, and it didn't disappoint. A lot to like about this. I kept a close eye on these during the pandemic, where supply was low and dealers took advantage of that, often charing huge markups over MSRP for these. The Rav4 TRD Off Road and Rav4 Prime were quite popular, and well, dealerships sure licked their chops when they got one into their lot.
Which Toyota RAV4 trim is your favorite? XSE seems nice, this Limited is sleek... perhaps you're a fan of the Prime and TRD Off Road? To me, hybrid technology BELONGS in vehicles like this, crossovers, minivans, etc... Heck, even the Toyota Highlander. Just NOT the Toyota truck and SUV lineup, i.e. 4Runner, Tacoma, Tundra, Sequoia, and Land Cruiser. The new 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser will be sporting the iForce Max just like the New 2024 Tacoma TRD Pro, Trailhunter and 2025 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro. =/
What are your thoughts on that? Do you think the hybrid belongs in the whole Toyota lineup? Thank you for watching as always, I sincerely appreciate the support. If you haven't already, please consider Liking and Subscribing. Thank you!

I'm getting 43.2 all day love it
Great points! Especially about the RAV4 being built in Japan. That's a major selling point for me, along with the fantastic fuel economy. The interior looks really comfortable too. However, the infotainment screen sticking out does look a little awkward. Do you think there's a way to customize that at all?
Cool Review Untamed 🔥👏🏼🔥👏🏼🔥👏🏼🔥
I have prime - the best plug in I have so far - used to have 1st and 2nd generation Prius plug in but since I have rav4 prime there is nothing but only good to say - love and love - they are like a tank and in a worse weather they ride like a champ
Its very nice, love it.
My wife has a 21 Limited for an airport commuter car. Great mileage. Reliable. Slow as can be. A lot of engine noise for little acceleration. They cheaped out on these.
I own the 2022 RAV4 Limited Hybrid.
We ordered it in September of 2021 and took delivery in March of 2022. (6 months)
We could of picked one up sooner but I was Adamant for one with BOTH main packages.
That would be the Advanced Technology Package and the Weather Package.
(the salesman kept trying to get me to take one with ONLY the Weather Package but I held out and I am glad for that)
To me it is NOT a True Limited if it does not have those two packages.
The vehicle should of had the Limited come with those two packages as Standard Equipment.
In the two years that we have owned our RAV4 it has been a very Good and Reliable Vehicle.
What I like about our 2022 over the newer ones is the Infotainment Screen.
Yes, the 'New One' has a higher resolution and is a bit larger however, ours has actual 'Buttons' on it.
Home Button, Audio Button, Map Button, etc. It is easier to 'Tap' then trying to use the screen.
The resolution on our 2022 is Good Enough for us. I can see just as good when compared to the new one.
We plan on keeping our 2022 for 10-15 years. We still own our 2007 Camry XLE (V6).
It is a decent car and has had very little repairs on it. Low mileage as well. (93K)
Our 2022 RAV4 Limited Hybrid only has just over 10K miles in two years.
Not bad. Not bad at all.
I currently have a Mazda but if the day ever comes where I want a hybrid, I want this one or the Camry.
Cool nice RAV4 yes it is
We have a 2022 Lexus RX 450h and it is the perfect sweet spot for hybrid suv
I have trd off road and i love that thing 28mpg combined with a/t somtimes 36 if not windy
We are looking to replace my wife’s vehicle with this or the new body style Honda CRV, your thoughts on that?
I really don't like the lights that stick out like warts on the corners. It looks like they've finally stopped doing that with the headlights but the tailights still look bad. When something smacks into that lens and cracks/breaks it what do they cost to replace? I'd rather have a body panel scratched and not have to replace a $$ lens.
My wife has the non-hybrid XLE Premium. Believe it was supposed to get 31 MPG and she manages to get just 26 MPG. She's not enamored with this vehicle by any means, and when I drive it the suspension feels a little unkempt- it wasn't refined despite having pretty much a Mazda sport suspension (minus double wishbone in the front). Toyota definitely accelerates as slow as possible to achieve that mileage rating. It's also a very engine noisy vehicle and not in a good way.
She also drove the 2010 RAV4 V6 Sport for 9 years (because pretty much had 4Runner capacity in the cargo area)- that car was only rated for 26 MPG and she usually could get 24 mpg- so what does that tell you about the newest RAV4?
I thought the interior was Softex, not leather?
I’m getting 52 MPG with my RAV4 Hybrid , love mine
Imperial gallon of course. I get 60 mpg during the summer months. I'm always in ECO mode & I don't do much highway driving. During the cold winter months I'll get around 35 mpg Imp. Love my XSE.
Were you and your wife at In&out in Colorado Springs today? On powers?Saw a man looked just like you? My husband wanted to ask but got too embarrassed 😂
The premium for a hybrid goes out the door on the monthly payment.
You think you’re saving money at the pump, but really the savings begin after the car is paid off.
The family has a Prius’ and it’s great to see 50 mpg but the monthly payments ain’t that great.
The Camry Hybrid is very good, the ES 300h is better and averages 47 mpg over 9k miles, and sits in rush hour drives in an out as much as an hour each way.
The fuel economy isn't great in winter. 25% increase in fuel consumption. It's normal to get 47+ mpg when driving on back roads between 40 and 50 mph in warm weather.
I own a 2024 Toyota RAV4 Adventure Hybrid.
you should check out the CR-V Hybrid, many sites rate it over the RAV4 Hybrid
The 2024 CRV is a nice vehicle.
Only the PHEV/Prime version is made in Japan. CMIIW
In Canada that's all we get from Japan but in the US they get some hybrids like this one also.
This hybrid rav4 last long i saw rav4 hybrid has more than 500 miles
You mean 500k.
@@johnmartin7158 yes
I'd go for the RAV4 TRD Off-road or the Prime
Base model Subaru is more off road than that RAV4 TRD offroad
We just bought the same vehicle and color love it ! Ours got 44 mph on the drive back from Texas.
XLE premium hybrid 23
I had two Toyota hybrids. IMO, the most reliable vehicles on the market. However, I do not recommend owning them after they reach the 150,000 miles. Every part for that vehicle could cost up to 5x than for a part that is in a regular vehicle. So, all the savings you have had for the first 150k will go down the drain very quickly.
Also, if you drive on highways, the engine noise could be unpleasant. We could not drive the vehicles more than two hours and we were tired. For city driving, it is not an issue, and I am not talking about the Toyota trucks that are hybrids.
44K for that? Looks more like 32K
Even if you don't need all the space, a AWD Sienna is still better for people that have 2 kids or more.
Completely apples and oranges vehicles.
So you don’t love it in a truck cause it makes your American definition of a “man” is threaten if a hybrid gets better power and gas mileage than your V8 driven chest beatin ego!
In America they even call the RAV4 a small SUV, lol.
I don't like the lifespan of the battery, in 3-5 years you'll pay all that money you saved on fuel buying and installing a new battery.
If you're referring to the "hybrid battery" pack.. those last way longer than 3-5 years. Hybrid batteries average around 10 years but I've seen many last even longer than that! Toyota also warranties the hybrid battery for 10 year/150k miles
Toyota warranties their battery for 10 years 150000 miles.
@@deionhughes6867 10 years?...... hybrid rav4 s haven't even been around for 10 years i don't think...... but whatever you say.
@@jeffshank9513 good luck with all the "technicalities"
@@jeffshank9513 ...and i don't want a $3,000 bill at 150k miles wity a Toyota either
Life of the battery is small and the price of the battery is huge. People need to get off this EV/hybrid train. Bring back the V8, give the option to go ev or hybrid if they want. Let everyone have the option. Politics need to stay out of the auto world.
Most boring car
Nah
That's not leather, nice spec though and the fake leather is really good
