Hum, I'll have to do the Mark Mod on mine too. Funny I was thinking of drilling holes, but this looks easier and won't allow the dirt to accumulate under the cover. Thanks Mark. GREAT IDEA! Best Wishes & Blessings. Keith Noneya
Thanks! My F350 7.3 could have been diagnosed as being possessed. things turn on and off without the key in the ignition. And I did have a Window seal leaking profusely on down to the saturation of my fuse box. Going to do what you said tomorrow. Hope it fixes it but I am pretty sure it will. Thanks again.
Just wondering if this could be the fix for the engine bay fuse box as well. Without taking it out. My truck's fuel pump power shorted, the fuse keeps blowing. One solution is to replace the whole box but rewiring all the wires would be a pain. PS: talking about 2000 F250 7.3 diesel.
Could this be why im getting stuck in park and now my wipers/sprayer wont work? My windshield frame is kinda rusty... also shifting kinda funny. But my alternator was overcharging probably for a while too. God knows what all it fried. My dome lamp is melted! Lol
Something like that is happening with my 2000 expedition and I just went to a junkyard and got a couple of these from an Eddie bower expedition and another 2wd expedition but now I'm having a problem with it starting and then shutting off and I'm not sure if it's the fuel pump or what but I can start it up and then shortly after that the car dies.
My fuse box became inundated with water over last winter, my mechanic says I need a new fuse box and it needs to be reprogrammed, would you say this is true? 1999 F350 Super Duty powerstroke.
My 2000 F350 fuse box is starting to click internally and I have to wiggle some fuses now to get them to work. Is my problem caused by what you are describing?
Hey Jerry I know you asked that question 5 months ago but that's the Central Junction Box for the 99-01 F250-F450's and possibly for the 550-650's. The Central Junction Box is under the Steering Wheel behind the Kick Panel. The GEM (General Electronics Module) mounts to the back of it as well. You won't find this style in your 2011 as it's to new. If you're still having those problems just look up Central Junction Box or GEM for the 2006. Best Wishes & Blessings. Keith Noneya
I’ve changed the Module & my problem went away ( no dash power) Today it came back, I did the markfix with no luck, mine was clean as marks in video, might be the rest of the fuse panel with the plates IDK

After spraying with rust inhibitor, do you remove the inhibitor with electric cleaner or do you leave with inhibitor in fuse box ???
@@AlexSanchez-pw6ls it's so little I just left
Bro same exact thing happened to me ! Good idea though you did here I’m going to do the same

Definitely possible cause. The moisture and corrosion cause all kinds of havoc in there
Which box is this? I’ve located a problem with no power to the start/run fuse under my hood and wondering if this could be the fix

Do u know what can be draining battery we already checked all usual problems
The GEM module that attaches to the back of the fuse box controls something with the battery. Several videos on UA-cam about it.
@@atemplin843it’s the fuse box under dash getting wet. I had the exact same problem. Had built up corrosion
