I am in Canada now. When I was in India, I used to get 7 bands from most of my teachers in the speaking section. But when I appeared for my speaking exam and when I encountered an examiner in front of eyes 👀 for the first time, I was pretty much confident that I will definitely get 9 bands. Also, I was completely satisfied with my performance which i had given at that time.
And, when I got my result, i scored 6.5 bands in speaking section. I cried literally when i got home. Tears were rolling down from my eyes. Then, I tried to make me understand by thinking that its not a bad score.
I really spoke very well during an exam and I had not spoken that much when I was giving my interviews to my tutors.
If I had got even 6 bands, then this thing would have really disturbed me.
Well, all the students really have to do a smartwork in order to get a band score of 7 or above in all the modules.
To be very honest, when I appeared for my GT speaking exam in Canada for my PR, I got 7 in speaking.
