✿ Beading starts at 2:20 ✿ Hey beautiful beaders! If you are brand new to even count peyote, or my ring tutorials, you may want to start with this video for a slightly simpler modern striped ring design: ua-cam.com/video/NlQ_IKTpjwk/v-deo.html For the materials list, and other helpful links, please check out the information section below the video. Hey Hey beautiful teacher beader! Looking forward to craft month! I am separating beads. What have I learned? White background with a lamp over the mat! How long did it take for me to learn this? No worries...our education comes at a cost!!! Now, on to your video...and these little, precious, seed beads. :) :) :)
p.s. Tomorrow I will receive my order of Toho Aiko beads. They are at a 70% discount from Bobby Beads, I like that company because they have very personal service. You must speak with them in order to charge to your credit card - does not hurt my feelings at all! And I was able to stock up on 2mm and 3mm (especially) Czech Fire Polish & Czech rounds, and Czech Druks at 25% to 33% discount. I want to learn to substitute these beads...gotta make it original! I have some earrings and rings I want to make as projects! OK then, as I sort these precious little creatures (that I can now tell the difference in ;) ) I will graze upon your teachings! Blessings and Re Jouir -Darlene

Such a cute little flower pattern--thanks for sharing it with us. Making a ring was one of the first peyote stitch items I made-and that went on to be lots and lots of rings because they are easily stitched, relatively quick to stitch, and gives you lots of peyote practice! And, my oh my, the colorways are endless.
Hi Sue! That's wonderful that you've been making lots of rings - they are so addicting to make! Like you said - quick, great practice, and endless colorways and possibilities! So glad you enjoyed! 💜
Yay! I love that ring!

Hi Gina. I love this ring. I'm glad you did this pattern. I'm still having a hard time with doing a pattern. I do better when i can do it with some one. Some day i'll get it. I know its not hard its just me. Thank you again for your help. With out you i think i would be lost. Thank you for sharing. Have a great night.
Aww, thanks so much Fran! It's not just you - it can take a while to catch on to these stitches. So glad I can help. Hope you have a great weekend! 💜

Thank you, Mary!
Hermoso ❤gracias por el video saludos🙋♀️🙏🇲🇽
I love it, it's beautiful. I'm going to make some in alot of different colors. Thank you
Awesome, Julia! So glad you enjoyed!
Gina, LOVE the level of detail and versatility in your designs! You help even noob beaders look brilliant when we complete an O&O project :-) TFS!
Awww, thanks so much, Abby! 💜😊
P.S. Enjoying music to bead by... I'm easily distracted so music helps to get into and stay in the crafting "zone" in any medium-beads, wire, yarn, paint, paper, whatever... :-)
I know exactly what you mean! 💜
And I found it! I was so hoping you had a video on it (I just found your channel from your March Jesse James subscription box review). Thank you for the videos!
So glad you found it!! 💜
Thanks, I just semi-inherited a huge amount of beads and some peyote stuff including some quick start peyote cards so I'm looking for and not really finding patterns I like for rings and things and this is among the clearest and easiest to follow so far.
Oh wow! Thanks so much for your comment, Diane! Being clear in my instruction is so important to me!! 💜💜💜
Thank YOU for not playing some weird techo music!! Beautiful ring!!❤
LOL!!! You're welcome!
I enjoyed the music I usually download video and listen on my commute to work 😊
I love it. I can only follow the video or word pattern and I am doing this today
Hi Zina! Thanks for your feedback. I'm so glad it's helpful! 💜
My brain just kicked in, scary I know lol. I started beading bc my daughter couldn’t find her name on anything so I started making bracelets on a loom with names, designs. I’m gonna make her a ring. Thank Gina
Oh, yay! She's going to love that! That was a great idea with the loom, also!
Pretty ring love the design like to see more. Are Delica beads good quality?
Delica beads are one of the best quality. In a 10 gram tube you may have to cull 3 or 4 beads on average.
thank you for that imformation@@vzburns1
Love it!! I still have to figure out my sizing but I’m determined to do it!! Thank you so much for sharing more of these! I love peyote but I have a hard time following a chart - I remember seeing something on making some kind of screen to cover the beads you’re not doing but I can’t remember where I saw it. Do you know what I mean? If so, maybe you can explain it better, lol. Thank you again for all you do! 💜💕💜
I know you can do it, Sharon! 💜 I remember seeing a tray that separates the colors/beads, and you can keep them in a certain order, but that's probably not what you mean. If you think of it, definitely keep me posted! 💜
Orchid and Opal Jewelry & Beads No, I have the tray you’re talking about. It’s the No More Oops tray and is definitely helpful.
This was like a card that had cut outs along the top to mimic the up and down beads and you put it over your pattern to help you keep your place on a graph paper pattern, as opposed to the ones written out line by line. My problem is that I watch videos when I’m in pain and can’t fall asleep but then I’ll see a great idea and can’t remember what video I saw it on! 🙈🙈🙈
That sounds really, really cool! Don't worry about it - I may do a little investigating and see if I can find it! 😉 💜
Orchid and Opal Jewelry & Beads Awesome! Please let me know if you find anything!! xxx
I can't find the printed image of this pattern on your blog.
I can't find it either. I think it was removed.
Is there another brand of beading thread we chould use other than fireline?
You can use WildFire, which is comparable. Otherwise, any type of beading thread you want, just be aware other threads are more prone to stretching and breaking over time. Hope that helps!
@@ORCHIDandOPAL thank you for your advice!
Do you know how to make a pattern of a wave peyote ring?
Hi there! Like two colors - with a ocean wave type pattern? I am sure I could draw something up. I also have free printable peyote graph paper on my blog. Feel free to print and create any design you like. 💜
How do you make different ring sizes?
Hi there! You make the strip of beads longer, or shorter, depending on the size you need. Then you sew the strip into a loop. :)
@@ORCHIDandOPAL thank you!!
I did the ring and bracelet. I'm wanting to enter a contest with them. Do I have your permission? I changed the color scheme just a tad. Gold border and flower middle. Thank you! My first time. Ring went easy but the bracelet fought me tooth and nail! But I got 'er done.
Hi! As long as it is not a design contest. :) I don't mind if you sell what you create, and if you're able to give credit where possible, it's always appreciated! Thanks for asking 💜😁
Thank you so much, Gina! I really appreciate it! Much love to you and keep on beading!
I have a very shakey right hand. This kept me busy for quite awhile! The ring went well but the bracelet fought me every stitch it seemed.
Hi Gina, I just started watching this video and before I forget I'd like to say that I too, prefer to bead along, step by step. I've watched a bazillion videos that [say] step by step but they show you a couple times, then abandon ship. It's very frustrating! I'm not exactly a fast learner, not to mention that I only have use of one eye, yikes! Thanks for listening, 'preciate it.
Thanks for the feedback!
