I’m a week late, lol- but I needed to pop in and leave a comment! You’re nearing the end! I’m so happy that you got some answers about the way you’re feeling.. anemia is so rough, but hopefully by taking iron, your levels will rise and you’ll start to feel more like yourself again! Little update for me- all insemination attempts have failed so far, currently on cycle 10 and my doctor asked that we pause on trying because he wants to do an endometriosis excision surgery. That is scheduled for 4/23. We will start trying again once I’m healed :) bummer to have to wait so many cycles to try again, but we are hoping it will give us that boost and chance we have been praying for🙏🏼🩵

I have so much confidence that this surgery is going to help tremendously 🙏🏼 For now, I will live vicariously through you and your pregnancy updates😍❤️ I adore you and your videos! I stopped following other TTC channels because recently things have changed for me and there is 0% chance of me getting pregnant without ivf. But your channel brings me a lot of comfort. @ryanmichelle I kept getting larger than normal ovarian cysts. Had one removed last summer and had another one form that was 19.9 cm. Had a surgery date scheduled to remove the cyst and before I could make it to the surgery date the cyst wrapped around my left ovary cutting off all blood flow resulting in emergency surgery and they removed my left ovary and tube. I have no right tube due to an ectopic pregnancy in the fall of 2022. Thank you for your prayers. Means so much to me. Have a blessed day and keep the prayers coming and ALWAYS praying for you!

I’m so sorry you’re struggling with the fatigue and iron deficiency, that’s rough 😕 I hope the supplements help! How sweet to see baby’s face on ultrasound!!! Last month didn’t happen for me but I’m trying hard not to be discouraged. It was only our second month. I’m bleeding mid cycle now though so I’m afraid this isn’t going to be the month either. Praying for contentment as I wait!
Something to do that I learned a while ago that is helpful to improve iron levels, heard by experts on the topic. Never drink water or liquids during meals because this dilutes stomach acid so it’s harder to digest food which makes it harder to absorb iron! So we must drink our water n liquid only between meals on empty stomachs.

Hey Ryan. Just wanted to update you that my baby Cora was born 39+3 on 7th April at 2.35am by emergency c section. My 1st c section ever experienced. We both shown signs of infection so we are currently still in hospital. Hope your doing okay. Take care x
Oh my goodness Kirsty that’s so scary! And u were nervous about the delivery wow. I’m so glad you’re both okay. What are they doing for the infection? Is it all under control? Sending prayers your way. Congrats on your baby girl🙏🙏🙏♥️♥️
They thought I maybe had a UTI. I had been having contractions from early hours (1am) Saturday morning right up until 10ish am when they suddenly stopped. They weren't like braxton hicks I'd had before, these were cramps and in my back etc. I phoned up my emergency number after an hour to see if it was normal for it to just stop. They asked me to go in so could monitor us both. They discovered both our heart rates were high and so decided was best to see if could get labour kick started being as I was full term. After lots of monitoring and working out what to do, my waters were broken by drs whilst only 1cm, contractions started coming but not as quick as they would have liked, I was given oxytocin drip to try and speed up the contractions, just because of mine and babies heart rate and infection risk. Well it started to feel like things were really happening after 12hrs of first getting there. Contractions v painful and 1min apart. My midwife examined me just for me to be 3cm! After about an hour, my midwife left and all of a sudden drs coming in with consent forms telling me baby needs to come now, ASAP, need a section. First time ive ever had one. Turns out babies heart rate shot to 217 whilst mine shot to 137. Im just grateful we r both doing well now after antibiotics etc. She weighed 7lb 9oz and has took to breastfeeding amazingly. My other 2 girls never did so its been a nice experience with her. 😊

I’m also low in ferritin and my midwife’s didn’t run bloods for it as my haemoglobin is normal. It’s strange how some practices don’t do this. All my other pregnancy’s they’ve drawn my ferritin and got me straight on iron when it was low. 8 is very very low, no wonder you’ve been feeling unwell. My iron has dropped this pregnancy from 34 to 22 and that’s with me taking iron twice a day throughout. I have upped my iron intake to 3 times a day now. (Was on iron before this pregnancy due to low iron) managed to get it from 12 to 34 in 3 months but it’s falling now. Currently 32 weeks x
Yes it wud be nice if all the drs did the same thing. It wud make things easier. I have to basically request them to draw labs on me. They don’t ever seem too concerned. I’m sure they see this stuff too much to worry. You’re so close!!!🙏🙏♥️♥️♥️
How annoying with the low iron/haemoglobin, I also just got told this when previously they said the levels were really good! I have to take the super strength 100mg iron tablets now and I’m already so constipated 😭 Sleeping also terrible here so can relate to that too I’ve been waking up every hour almost on the dot, then at the around 2-3am wake up I just can’t get back to sleep. Hopefully we both start getting more sleep soon as we don’t need lack of sleep compounding the tiredness of low iron! I really think your baby is a girl, your pregnancy sounds so similar to mine in so many ways (my baby is also measuring small compared to my others she’s at 27th percentile right now) so I will be super interested to see what your baby is when they arrive! 💕
Hi Ryan, sorry about all the exhaustion and shortness of breath, must make it so difficult for you! Are you taking vitamin C with your iron? Vitamin C helps iron to be absorbed by the body. The other thing is that iron by tablet form in general is not absorbed by the body very well and sometimes people have an iron infusion by drip. Maybe worthwhile asking your doctor if you qualify for that. Take care!
No I’m not taking the vitamin c. I’ll have to look into that for sure. Thank you for the tip! I’ve had a couple people mention the drip so I’m gonna check on that my next appt. How many weeks are u now?
Girl please promise me you will ask for a iron infusion them pills will not bring that up in time and there is severe bleeding when you have low iron while giving birth I almost hemorrhage to death with Malachi, because of mine being low and I had been given 2 infusions I will be getting them again this pregnancy to make sure I can keep up my iron levels so I don’t have that bleeding problem this time

You may need an iron infusion. My daughter’s iron was a 9 and when she got an infusion she did feel better.
