I am writing a review on the first video for people starting the series. I took my EC-6 exam last week and I passed science. I watched these videos days before my exam and they definitely help a lot, especially if you are studying science last minute. I did combine these videos with the REA study guide for a more in-depth explanations, but these videos are really helpful and I highly recommend you watch these videos for EC-6 science. One tip for those studying- study each competency and have a general understanding of each you never know what they will and will not test you on the exam.

I’m back Mr. Hayes! I successfully passed the 291! Your science videos were most helpful, especially for someone who was in a pinch to study all areas with less than 3 weeks to accomplish the task. Thanks to your illustrations and explanations, I was able to rationalize my answers pretty quickly. Thank you for pointing out things like rock cycle, moon phases, famous scientists and their contributions, force, energy.... the list goes on. I seriously cannot thank you enough for taking the time to create this series of videos.

I just want to say thank you so much for these videos. Science was the section I was the most worried about, but I passed with a 265! Your videos were extremely helpful and really helped me understand every concept.
Did the science portion involve knowing any science formulas?
I took my EC-6 on 2/12 & passed ALL subjects & my second highest score was in Science. I watched all of your videos, I studied really hard, but I also prayed a hundred times for God to help me pass my test & know he was with me during the test because I was SO CALM when I took it! Thank you for making these videos and helping us grasp these important concepts and information! I have been sharing your links on our Texes groups on Facebook so people know how helpful they are! Thanks to your videos, I passed my Science of the EC-6 last week (yes, I passed the other sections also :->). I found these videos very helpful for gaining understanding of the concepts I had to know about in a way that just reading study guides could not provide. So sorry for not posting new videos in this series at the moment. We are in the process of packing and moving to another town and things are crazy right now. Once we get a few aspects of moving out of the way, I will be back to producing more content. I am not sure of other videos that "nail" the information, however having the "Big Yellow Book" is a great resource and you are on the right track. Michael, I am getting the question about hydrochloric acid on my practice exam and I am not sure what they're looking for. They were specifically asking where you should store it. All similar answers, so I'm not sure which to choose. Thanks!

I am not sure of your answer choices but in an open ended question I would expect to see an answer that stated something to the effect: In a secure dry acid cabinet away from other chemicals and out of reach of students.

Anyone there can help me answer these science questions for early childhood education, which state of matter activity appropriate for kindergarten class room ice cube maker, water/ freezer or beaker, water heatsource? Another one for safety rules for k-1 class materials are,salt,baking soda, flour, sugar, sand,and sunflower seeds what would be safety for this activity not to taste, latex gloves, ventilators and I don't remember Another option thank you..
