i believe oli said in an interview he suffered and maybe still suffers from sleep paralysis, and that him and his best friend would stay up as long as possible so oli wouldn't have to go to sleep. i think this song is about what he went through and what he saw when he had an episode, and maybe he turned to drugs just to keep from sleeping. i could be wrong but that's what i got out of the video

I think this song is about how olis ex wife treated him bad and he was a ketamine addict that ghostly naked lady is olis ex wife haunting him and he's drowning in his addiction until at the end the other band members saved him from his addiction

From my personal view, I see this song about depression. And that monster is actually his demon hanging around. Because the lyrics are really deep and from personal experience, taking painkillers to feel high really hits home.

There’s a song on the ep out next friday called Kingslayer. Maybe it links to the crown at the end? Also, heard a leak from it. Kingslayer has lows on. Real lows and screams and it’s godly. Also as well, BMTH are the absolute bomb. Unpopular opinion but I love every one of their albums equally with TTS and SS being my favs. Each one is so special to me, it’s like they have an album for every mood for me. New BMTH is absolutely amazing as well. Each single is as good if not better than the last and they just keep on delivering. The sound imo is the best combination of all their sounds through the years. I’m all for people having an opinion but if you don’t like this, you’re wrong lmao.

People who hate on new BMTH because they aren't as heavy are just wrong imo. Count your blessings is one of my favourite albums by them and honestly I think they've grown. This might be their best album, but I think the next will be even better
