Floor and Tarja are having so much respect and love for each other and for the music. It heals all wounds. And those who are really fans of Nightwish, would never say anything bad about any singer of the band, including Anette. They are all brilliant in their own way. Keep the love going.
What wounds are you talking about? Both ladies have sung on the same band but have they had any bad blood between each other? I don't think so.

I am talking about the wounds about the time when Tarja was thrown out of the band and the wounds of all the bad blood that was going on between the band and Tarja in those times and even years after. I am not talking about any wounds between Tarja and Floor, there are none in fact.

Floor has idolized Tarja as a teen. They 1st met in 2002. Floor was with her 1st band After Forever when they were asked to open for Nightwish in the Century Child tour. There has never ever been bad blood between the Ladies. Floor went to Tarja to get her blessing before accepting the band's offer of membership.
Floor did set ground rules that she would not sing certain songs like Bye Bye Beautiful the 1st single with Anette in lead. A mean spitired attack to deflect blame.
Now I mention Floor, Tarja , and Marko are all touring their solo projects.

Floor and Tarja became best friends since 2002 when Nightwish and After Forever were touring together across Europe. They did a chat together during lockdown which is also worth watching.
You guys said it right: Tarja always take the initiative. In a recent interview, she said that she approached Marko about the festival in July and was like "hey, let's sing Phantom together?" and she said sh didn't expect it to be so emotional. She said that Marko came to her after her set was done, and he was in tears and they hugged a lot. And I really hope I can see them both together here in Brazil in March. They are doing nine concerts here, and there is one that fits my schedule, but I don't know if I'll have the moey for it.

Great to see them perform together even if the sound and video are really poor . This is a lesson for Nightwish " fans". Tarja and Floor love and respect each other. Do the same! At the end of the day, you have to give respect to Tarja. Even though there was a majority that was accepting of Floor joining Nightwish (which benefited both parties), this was Tarja way of telling everyone to chill the fuck out, and that she was happy for her. At this time, Tarja just came out with her second album, and was still pretty much successful that people expected even with her still growing as an artist. She was still book and busy. At this point, she didn’t need a Nightwish return, she was good on her own.
Also, I’m sure She was happy for Floor, and wouldn’t be surprised if she shared some experience and knew the heights it would take her.
I believe this is an incredible way of ending the year. It represents leaving old feelings behind and embracing love and beauty and friendship and music for the new year.

Great to see Tarja and floor perform together, even though the sound and video are so poor. I hope this is a lesson for Nightwish “fans”. To me this feels like a really special reaction.
This also shows the hight difference between Floor and Tarja🤭 They both are probably wearing heels.
But still, both of them have such big voices and charisma.
And their voices fit so well together🫠🥰
And I really like the parts where Floor is singing with her classical voice and Tarja is using more of her chest voice like in 7:20.
Tarja is always so appreciating towards the people she performs with, and so is Floor❤ Tarja and Floor are so sweet. I love that they are friends. This shows the appreciation they have for each other.
I don't know how familiar Floor was with this song at this point🤔 she sang it perfectly but it's sweet to me that in 8:47 Tarja kinda nods to Floor "this is your part to sing" (even though Floor knows it). It just gives me the vibe that Floor might have not sang this song many times before this.🤷♀️
I don't think that many reactors have gone as deeply into Nightwish's history and catalogue as you two have. You truly appreciate all the members of Nightwish, as it should be.
And then on top of it none other reactor has done such a deepdive into Tarja's solo career and appreciated her so much.
But you have also looked into what other projects Floor, Marko and Tuomas have done.

Floor first gigs with NW ,october 2012...this is a video from MFVF ,october 2013 and we got the news that Floor was officially the new NW singer ...Tarja was the headliner,before her we had Floor's Revamp, Stream of Passion and Anneke van Giersbergen...the day before we had Lacuna Coil, Delain with Sharon from Within Temptation as special guest, Leaves Eyes ,VoA, Kobra and the Lotus 🙂

Thanks a lot for the reaction and request. I'm glad that it's finally time for this performance as well. And I think it was great timing, because things like this performance, Poet and The Pendulum, Ghost Love Score or Master Passion Greed, Diva or Enough can only be fully understood after knowing the history. Although the artists would probably disagree, because of course the songs are independent even without knowing any history.
At the same time, it is quite paradoxical that at the time Tarja was worried that the fans would bully Floor because of her, and today, on the contrary, it is rather Tarja who needs that support.
I would really like to hear Floor and Tarja on some professional recording. I love the positive energy between them. This always reminds me how st...pid these fights between fans are.
As I read some of the comments here, I can see that some people really don't like the idea that Tarja and Floor are friends, and their fan hatred is quite illusory. Some just need to hate.
Dunno abt "healing" but it was definitely a message for some fans back then to grow up and just enjoy the music. Tarja being really enthusiastic seemed to have caught Floor off guard for a sec at 10:03 with that grand gesture. A good 7 yrs later when Floor appeared in her Instagram chat, Tarja mentioned just how tall Floor seemed when they performed together. Even though Tarja remembered wearing 10cm heels. With that unexpected hug, Floor had to reach down quite a bit which looks kinda awkward. I can imagine the few seconds it took her to regain composure. Cheers!

As many here have already stated, Floor and Tarja are really close friends, and have been for nearly 20 years. In fact, when receiving the offer, it was Floor who asked Tarja for permission to join Nightwish. She explicitly wanted Tarja’s blessing to do that, which she received.
It is because of that friendship that Floor absolutely REFUSES to sing Bye Bye, Beautiful, which is one of the reasons why the three “letters” from Dark Passion Play will never be played again.
I'm not at all sure about Floor asking for Tarja's permission. I never found it anywhere. But I have no doubt that they are longtime friends and respect each other. But I found a part in the article:
_Jansen was recently asked by Finland's Radio Rock whether she has spoken to her friend, former NIGHTWISH singer Tarja Turunen, about their shared experience of fronting the band and the circumstances that led to Tarja's departure from the group. "Not really. No," Floor replied. "Because I feel everyone is different. Time and times have been different. People grow, people change. And I don't wanna go down that road. I'd rather see what happens around me and be in the here and the now with the people I work with and don't go behind backs and [say], 'How was it for you? What happened?' You know. I don't do that."_
_Regarding whether she has any fears that, due to the band's troubled history with lead vocalists, her time with NIGHTWISH will not last very long, Floor said: "No. And whether this is in NIGHTWISH or in anything with anyone in everyone's lives, what guarantees do you have? And I believe in the chemistry that we have today, 'cause it's been very strong since the beginning and grew to be better throughout the months. It's still a very recent thing. But what feels good now, that's where you should go from, and that's what I do."_
After all, they weren't classmates from elementary school, but professionals. It is possible that they talked about it in private, but we will probably never know.
@@PetraPola I agree with you, Petra. I don't know where this "permission" thing came from but it doesn't make any sense. First of all Floor was asked to join Nightwish seven years after Tarja was fired and started her solo career, second if Floor needed "permission" or "blessing" she would have asked for it to Annette that was the actual singer at the time. Floor was asked to do a job and she did it beautifully. She and Tarja are two of the greatest singers and are very good friends since many years. Just as simple as that.

Floor and Tarja are great friends for many years. One thing i noticed is that i have never heard of anyone in the whole music industry talk one bad word about Floor. She's the real deal as a perron and oh so humble
I wouldn’t be to surprice to see Tarja and Marko together with Floor on stages soon. NW as I think is no lounger existing. They will realese the 10th album next year, they are mixning it now so maybe in april or so. Jukka Koskinen just joined another band, Tuomas and Troy they will go away with that Auri (not my cup of Tea music) Empuu I don’t know and Kai I don’t know if he have classes in drums? Or if he is in another band…

@@PetraPolaThis guy is just a Floor fanatic that doesn’t like being called out on his past behaviors on Tarja reactions. The big reaction channels rarely react to NW because of the Floor fan base. They’ve seen people’s channels be completely destroyed because they trash anyone that isn’t Floor. They would harass anyone that even seemed like they could like Tarja better. They would accuse them of being Tarjaholics already, and they only started their channel to praise Tarja. It was sick. Some just got sick of it and quit reacting altogether.
Too bad this was filmed on a fan cam and apparently not very good one of that. Also Floor was showing the sound engineer to set her mic level's up
With all due respect to Tarja but Floor's stage presence is another level, that's why she is our metal Goddess.
