The big difference between the v1 and v2, only the new v3 provides sound&power through the USB port. The previous gen always needed a 3.5mm plug to connect to your PC for instance.
Very nice review. After 8 years my old Bose Companion speakers died. I have a decent SONY wireless headset, so I looked for a “Budget” desktop replacement. AT UNDER $35.00 - bought the Creative Pebble V3 ‘ - ordered yesterday; Just arrived -- Simple hookup and very happy with sound at that price point.
Do you have a comparison of the Edifier G1000 VS Creative Pebble V3? I don't know which one to buy, which one is better and has better bass, etc. On top of that, they cost the same on sale, 30 euros.
So if you are forced to place the right side speaker to the left on the desk and vice versa due to the PC placement on the left, how do you reverse the right and left sound?
Does it have any sort of sound effect on itself? I was thinking about buying another model, but after searching for a review, I have found that it has some crappy sound effects that cannot be turned off. When the speaker was turned on, it output some cheesy effect sound and a crappy TTS machine voice that said "Power on, sound card mode." What were the makers thinking? Ugh. And not just that product, a lot of other cheaper Bluetooth speakers had annoying loud sound effects when a Bluetooth device is connected or disconnected, or even when I changed the volume. I wanted to know if Pebbles V3 has any sound effects in this video, but your review did not address it.
@@KnowledgeSharingTech was thinking of getting the edifier r1280t. What are your thoughts on it? Is it worth the extra bucks (it costs 3x more than create pebbles v3)
@@KnowledgeSharingTech I have seen both of your videos, they are really helpful. while I don't know how it is in reality, I assume the creative pebble will lack in bass, right?
These are £28 for a reason and that reason is that you get £28 worth of quality and no more. Just bought these on 08/10/22 and I am disappointed as this channel and quite a few others said they were good. The bass is terrible. If you have little cash and need 'something' then they look okay on your desk. Other than that do some overtime and get some decent speakers as they sound rubbish.
Finally someone who realises that our speakers and his mic will have an impact on how we will hear the sound of the test speakers
Very good review. I especially liked your concluding remarks with pros and cons and the sound demonstration.
Glad it was helpful!
i rarely trust review videos which are sponsored, so thank you for this! :)
No problem and BTW, this is not sponsored

Hi. Nice video mate. Can we directly connect to monitor's in-built USB hub? I have Lenovo 24m
As long as the Hub is connected to the PC, then yes
Awesome review sir, as always! Could you please do a review of the pebble pro? I'm planning to get one. Thanks!

Thanks for your video. I'm looking for usb speaker that will me on this because I connect only 1 thunderbolt cable to my laptop.

Yes and yes

I don't have a direct comparison but I tried them both. The Pebbles are louder but the G1000 have more sound details
Great detailed video! Thankyou!
My pleasure!
The V1 pebble is £18.00 on Amazon right now or the Amazon Basics are £14, which would you choose?
Pebble without any hesitation
What chip does this use for amplification? Pam8403?
is the v2 and v3 have any sound difference?
Yes, the v3 sounds deeper and has better bass then the v2
@@KnowledgeSharingTech ah interesting..the v3 is more pricey so i thought id just get v2 if the sound quality is the same
Checkout also the Amazonbasics speakers, they are good: ua-cam.com/video/9TNdskq7Fmw/v-deo.html

Shaken, not stirred!
are they good for 3meters X 5meters living room?
Yes
do they have a high pitch buzz noise when not playing music?
No
Would you say the sound quality On the pebble V3 has a noticeable difference when comparing to the pebble v2?
I don't think so
@@KnowledgeSharingTech which has better sound quality when comparing the pebble V1 vs the pebble V2?
very informative video
Glad you think so!
do they make any sound when you aren't playing audio, i have used a couple of usb speakers before and they always make a quiet static sound ?
Not these
What is a better, pebble v3 or edifier g2000?
G2000. Here's a video for it: ua-cam.com/video/tE5CXbDEAr4/v-deo.html
can anyone tell me if I can feed power via usb-a or -c from the PC. & use AUX-in, the audio jack in the back.... at the same time ?
Creative pebble v3
or
Edifier g1000
?
If you want LED lights, go with the G1000 but for all other aspects, go with the Pebbles v3
Will this work with a 3.5mm connection Subwoofer?? Please, I need some answers so bad so I can finalize my purchase :(
no , you cant use a sub on these
@@nunosantos0000 thank you! I did not buy them hahahaha
Should I get the v3 or 2.1 plus?
If you want powerful bass, go with the 2.1. If you want better specs ans better speakers overall, go with the v3

sir, between this one and edifier r1700, which one is better overall?

An Italian talking about speakers making music but only gives amplified noise. WOT.. no Vivaldi? No Verdi?
"led" is not correct, instead say "L-E-D" like the rest of us in the world lol.
Thanks for the advise
There's no right or wrong way of saying "LOl"
True - but harsh!
And where yuu from to say that?
