Your review quality is on par with the best pro UA-cam stars out there. Well done. Anyways I just ordered these speakers from a local computer store here in Canada and got them on sale for $40 CAD. Looking forward to picking them up today and trying them out. Thanks again and keep up the great work. Also I hit subscribe because you did a fantastic job. :)

@@DTiPNZ Well Daniel, after 6 days or so with these speakers I have to say that I'm quite impressed. The sound quality is amazing for what they are. Definitely happy with these speakers and strongly recommend them to anyone that's on a budget, but still wants excellent sound. Great awesome speakers all around and they work great with both my Mac and PC. Thanks again Daniel for a great video review.
@@DirkMeister Hi Dirk, thanks heaps for keeping me posted - not many people do! Glad to hear you're pleased with them. They really are a great wee set of speakers at a very fair price. I appreciate the update, keep well and keep enjoying them!
Thanks a bunch for reminder about V3, most shops still have V2. Besides the low price and relatively small size another advantage is that they come in white. Try finding white speakers in similar price range. My friends absolutely need to have everything in white, so that makes buying options much more limited.
Thanks for making this video with a lot valuable and unbiased information. I am currently choosing between pebble V3 and stage V2. Could do a review on stage V2 and comparison between the two? Thanks.
I have the speakers with the subwoofer and its 100% worth it. I tried unplugging the subwoofer and the quality decreases by like half. If you had the choice definitely choose the subwoofer option. The bass is amazing for the price, better than my +$100 JBL charge 4.
Thanks for letting us know! I've had a couple comments echoing the same thing - I was basing my opinion off other reviews I'd seen/read, but real world experience is always best. Only a few quid between the V2+ and V3, tricky decision!
IMHO: Worth the money. A bit too much of hight frequencies overall, I bit lacking definition in the mid frequencies. The bass - if we can say it this way - is not as deep as you would hope probably - but it's good enough for this size of speakers, assuming no additional processing is happening there and of course the price. I just bought mine and Im keeping them. Overall MBPro 2017 has rather good speakers, but after one hour of listening to Pebbles - it's just pain to go back.
Thanks! The tip for the USB power supply is key. I'm looking for a new set of computer speakers this holiday season and these are one of the set ups I'm considering.
Great Video Daniel and great review. Do these speakers have the ability to play sounds from USB input and the Bluetooth input at the same time? or do you need to change the source?
Hi Joe! Thanks for the support. I was gonna say no but thought I should test it first, turns out you can! Also turns out listening to AC/DC and Guns n' Roses at the same time is a very confusing experience.
@@DTiPNZThanks for the speedy reply! good choice of bands to test with as well. sounds like using the pebble v3 connected to my works laptop for video calls and streaming music via my iPhone in between the calls will work perfectly!
I just got em and yeah I think theyre pretty okay! I really just wanted them to watch UA-cam vids and movies so I can take my headset off and for that they are working just fine.
How about the speech quality? I will be listening mostly streams, talk shows and stuff like that and also some gaming. Wire between speakers seems to be only 1,35m long, which is close of being too short. Annoying that they often leave it so short even when people have multiple monitor setups nowadays. Do you know how these compare to older Logitech speakers setups? I have 15 year old 2.1 Logitech setup, which audio cable seems to be broken. I don't like how much space bass speaker takes from my desk, so I am looking something without it. I am wondering if these are popular mostly because of their unique shape. One downside seems to be that you cannot adjust bass from these. I am scared that they are too bass heavy, which makes speech annoying to listen.
Hows the bass compared to a speaker like JBL Flip 6? I connected it to my laptop but it seems to have a small delay, not ideal for gaming and there is no aux on the speaker
I have them. Excellent audio...for the price. So put your expectations accordingly. Good audio quality but excellent price/quality (the best price/quality of the pebble 2.0 models IMHO). They are berely more expansive than the pebble v1.
I love the way you review this speakers .. what do think the difference between pebble V3 vs V1(old version) in terms of sound ? Thanks for always answer all of our comments 👏🔥
Hi Aozawa, thanks for watching and commenting. I try to answer any questions whenever I can - one of the benefits of having a smaller YT channel! However this one I can’t comment on - I’ve not owned nor heard the V1. I remember it was (and still is) very popular - hence why they still manufacture and sell it, I guess - so must have been pretty good. In terms of difference, I would think they’d have make a few improvements across two versions, not sure if enough to justify an upgrade if you already have the V1, but certainly worth the price difference if you’re weighing up which model to buy. Sorry I can’t be more help, hopefully someone else on here has both and can chip in!
Can i ask.i connected them with adaptor usb to type c on 3.2 port usb on my computer.when connected via bluetoooth the blue light pulsing the high gain and the sound is awesome.when i press the bt button to chance the connection to the usb th bluee light of high gain stands still that means i still have high gain sound but the volume is much lower than the bt connection.why?
I read somewhere that if you plug in a 30w adapter rather than in PC you get the best out of it.I cannot find the official adapter anywhere so I was thinking if I can buy another one from other companies. If so does anyone have a clue of what is compatible?
If you'll use it for watching movies or podcasts, buy it. Don't buy if you like listening to music because it has a excesive amount of compression that can't be deactivated and it plunges the volume peaks, thus destroying the dynamics of your music.
Hi! I can’t answer for certain as I guess it’d depend on the monitor. Though I’m thinking if you run an HDMI from the PS4 to the monitor, you should then be able to run the audio through the Pebbles using the AUX in cable - that’s assuming the monitor has an AUX out, of course. Sorry I couldn’t give a more definitive answer - I’d gladly test it myself but I don’t have a monitor to hook my PS4 up to!
I want to buy a Pebble V2 but I wonder if I should pay extra for the V3 version and here is my question, is there a difference in the sound between V2 and V3? Do you only pay extra for bluetooth?
Hi, I don't own the V2 so can’t compare, from what I understand they’re both great value speakers. I’d your looking to save some cash and don’t need the Bluetooth, go for the V2.
Have you tried using these via AUX? For me they don't work via AUX if I power them with a wall adapter. The blue light just flashes indefinitely no matter what. I only get sound if I plug the USB directly into the computer. But even then, if I switch to AUX mode, I get extremely annoying buzzing and static. I own a pair of V1s and V2s and neither have this problem. What's the deal with this?
Does anybody know how I can check in advance if my motherboard USB ports provide enough power for this? It's a high end motherboard (MSI X570 Tomahawk) but it would be nice to know before I make my purchase! Thank you :)
These are £28 for a reason and that reason is that you get £28 worth of quality and no more. Just bought these on 08/10/22 and I am disappointed as this channel and quite a few others said they were good. The bass is terrible. If you have little cash and need 'something' then they look okay on your desk. Other than that do some overtime and get some decent speakers as they sound rubbish.
