That plate is AWESOME Aidan !!!! Love those bore holes in the cut. The blasting opened up some nice veins. Wanted to say though, Remember the black polished rocks I sent ya? I use them for mounting specimens like the block you used. I remember you were wondering about those. Many blessings Aidan and Happy Holidays. PS; I haven't forgot about your box brother. Just been spending all my money on my car which I now have to tear the engine apart. Bummed. Over 400 in parts I probably didn't need. I promise you will get some cool Colorado stuff. Before I die. LOL Joke.

Wow, those are some good sized crystals for dogs tooth, everything I’ve ever found has little tiny druzy stuff, none of the crystals were nearly that size… awesome spot, makes me miss limestone

Excellent video. Roadcuts are some of the most overlooked prospecting places (glad that's not the case with you)! I love the close-up shots with your microscope. ✨

Why are all the mines abandonned in Québec .. do you know.? Especially Cobalt .. which was THE place to go before we had Toronto and Montréal.

The Canadian shield is a big reason, the geology is just different

I prefer the switch from collecting to cleaned piece and back again type of video. Nice little hole. Time to put your camera on a stick and shove it in there and see what's around.

Yeah, went back later and checked the hole again, someone cleared out the entrance which meant I could reach in farther and pull out more stuff.

Egg cartons make great storage for collecting.. There are some interesting Calcite's there. Could be graphite inclusions but I'd be more confident with a hydrocarbon of some sort. Cheers!!
      Andrew..

Thanks, yeah cartons are handy, but I don't get eggs from the grocer so i dont have a regular supply of them unfortunately. Hydro carbon might be a good bet, but I haven't noticed the smell that is usually associated with their presence.

@@Ontario_Rockhound If they are inclusions and not on surface you may not smell anything. It was just a thought anyway. A microscope would help in proper ID.
