Videocult really has a way of making dying machines sound and *feel* chilling. The extreme pain silver shrieks before abruptly stopping. Like a sudden brake while driving. The can going dark…. It’s just horror done well.

I love the sound design of this game, the "received damage" sounds remind me a bit of caretakers from DRG Also, it is funny to me how Saint uses her tongue like a reaction control system.
I feel like they planned for this in the normal game, but it became too much for regular gameplay, so they adapted it into a challenge Or they realized it didn't make sense timeline wise
@@baratadragon4447 sliver of straw did not create the saint. while personally, I think that would be the most satisfying answer, devs have stated that saint and sos had nothing to do with each other and saint was born way way out of the scope of the timeline for that to be the case. they didn't elaborate further or explain anything about either saint or SOS' situation that would disprove this theory though, so I'm not a fan of how they handled it. if they didn't want us thinking it was true, they could have done a number of things in universe that would disprove it, like putting challenge 70 with a random unnamed iterator instead of sliver specifically, or dropping lore hints. I don't like when developers of games just shoot down lore theories outside of the game without giving more information. it just makes it feel like they want to maintain a sense of artificial ambiguity, so they have to get rid of theories that make too much sense without putting in the actual work to make them not feasible

It only dies when the slugcat's head is in it In other words, you won't die even if your body comes in to a certain extent So if it's hard to avoid, there are some situations where you can live if you turn around and take out your head

Press and hold the z button (shoot) and move to the direction key. You have to hold it down.

this shows what an iterator is actually capable of.
