Reports suggest that Call of Duty may stop having annual releases , Apex Legends and the ALGS have announced multiview is coming to the scene, and Xbox confirms they will honor Call of Duty deals with PlayStation.

I have been dying for a single CoD for years. Build it around competitive balance, turn it into a game that can last the test of time like CS or League. You don't need to keep changing the mechanics, a GOOD and FAIR game will last forever. CoD mobile is the best CoD there ever was because it took everything good about CoD and shoved it all into one game. A game like that for Console/PC, make it free to play, make it esports ready, include a ranked system and boom.

you can bet that there are no more COD PS exclusives after the contract runs out. MS will honor existing contracts, that's it. there WILL BE xbox (timed) exclusive content after that.

I’m sure there will be xbox exclusives now, but I’d be willing to bet they’ll just have different exclusives per platform. Similar to how Fortnite would have different exclusive skin packs depending on platform
