They just land on midge nets and crawl through holes-use tights over skipped cap to keep your face clear. Midges can make it break a trip. At night build a fire and use wind break guide smoke briefly by you riding you off them. Scotland is the best

That laugh! :-D. There are some good alternatives to disposable bbqs that fold flat for storage and you can also use them as a fire pit. I’m new to the channel so there’s lots to catch up on. :)

Ooo interesting, a crack in your actual engine? Or like in a pipe running into your engine? Philly suspects a cracked pipe, it seems to be worse when it's hot or been driving for a long time, like it's expanding with the heat or something.
my favourite artist lives in Aberdeen I think she's a painter she is always talking about how the weather changes rapidly, mind you I would love to go there but our son can only travel to Tasmania such a bummer and my sister-inlaw lives in Glasgow she sends me pictures for me to paint.

Just a quick hello hope all is well thought of this when parked on a slope build a board to slip under all things your using with inch or half inch edges like they use for square meals on boats . If your not sure research what the term square meal originated from and you’ll see they square plates and things they used while sailing on tall ships . Talk about broken screens, I went fishing with the guys fell over board took 5 guys to haul me back up on the boat ,I wouldn't suggest falling into the cold Alaskan sea. Lost my phone to Davy Jones, but still caught loads of fish bonus we got to talk to people off the Cornelius Marie of Deadliest catch that was a plus but took 2 weeks for a new phone because Alaska bites that way and 3 days later broke my screen so yea understand the cracked screen thing hah
@ChapterByChapterVlog the guys are relentless, they bought me floaties and yell when I get close to the edge as you may have guessed we are Alaskan fisherman and woman hah
Hi guys, such a good video today. I had to look on the map to find the falls of Glomach and underneath the name on the map it said “strenuous hike to a secluded cascade.” It was wonderful to see the waterfalls however, I also appreciate that Keeley made the decision that was right for her and said “NO, I’m not climbing down there because I don’t fancy climbing up again.” I think it is so important to be able to say no at times. It was great to see Tom in the video too and when you were all practicing your Scottish accents, Tom’s was the best of the three, which is not saying much. It had me laughing and laughing and the cup of tea I was drinking, was literally slopping all over the place. There again I do have Scottish parents who came from Inverness so I knew what accent I was looking for and it wasn’t quite the one Tom achieved ! I wonder if they teach you Scottish ( not Gaelic) on Dúolingo. I so want Tom to achieve the ability to say loch properly. It really isn’t difficult. It’s only an aspirated H sound, so try saying loch again and again please Tom 😅. Keeley you were so brave, jumping straight into that pool at the end, and don’t you just love the brownish peaty color in the water in the burns in the pools in Scotland? when I lived in Scotland we filled the bathtub up it was that color too. Somehow it just feels like it’s good for you that water. Great video. Thanks very much for doing the editing. I’m so sorry that you had to do it on a sunny day. I’m off to check out the AG one link for my greens now. Oh, and the next video of Tom’s that I watch, I’m going to remind him to practice saying LOCH ! 😂

OMG that was such a feel good video.Tom has some motivation walking away from all that fun into the rain by himself. I thought you were getting a new laptop Keely, is that still the one that got liquid damage or another broken one? Hope the weather has picked up, it seems better than it has been this week.
Glad you enjoyed it 🥰🥰 It's the same one, I realised if I took out the battery and disconnected everything and added external peripherals I can pretty much use it as a screen, but the screen is also broken, and it randomly turns off because the chips aren't happy, so it probably has about 10% functionality lol. But editting laptops aren't cheap, tom been trying to convert me to Mac, but never used one before so been fighting spending the dollar, but it's defo needed haha.
@@phillyandkeely Oh I see, well if it works! Might be worth getting the screen fixed at least, it's an easy job and should be cheap to do. I know people love Macs for editing, but they are super expensive and impossible to repair without giving even more money to apple (even the hard drive is soldered in and can't be upgraded). I'd always stick with Windows as it's just more flexible. Oh other thing you could do to make more use of the semi broken laptop is remote into it from a low spec laptop or even a tablet with something like Teamviewer.
😂😂 we do buy good quality coffee, but because of that we restrict ourselves to 2-3 cups a day (depending on whether it's an edit day or not) it's not actually too much. Less than a weekly Starbucks anyway. I will admit when I was a teacher I would drink between 8-10 cups, but coffee was free in school and I worked in East London, so you needed it to survive 😂, Once we moved into the van and started drinking good coffee I quickly reduced that 😂
No we don't live anywhere really, we are from N Ireland, but we move around so much who knows where we live 🤣 but we have enjoyed the last three months living here in beautiful scotland. Not done Perthshire, need to add this to the list for when we are back next time 🥰🥰

Ooo interesting, a crack in your actual engine? Or like in a pipe running into your engine? Philly suspects a cracked pipe, it seems to be worse when it's hot or been driving for a long time, like it's expanding with the heat or something.

Just a quick hello hope all is well thought of this when parked on a slope build a board to slip under all things your using with inch or half inch edges like they use for square meals on boats . If your not sure research what the term square meal originated from and you’ll see they square plates and things they used while sailing on tall ships . The idea works well for every situation. 😊 any how cheers and have a coffe on me

Talk about broken screens, I went fishing with the guys fell over board took 5 guys to haul me back up on the boat ,I wouldn't suggest falling into the cold Alaskan sea. Lost my phone to Davy Jones, but still caught loads of fish bonus we got to talk to people off the Cornelius Marie of Deadliest catch that was a plus but took 2 weeks for a new phone because Alaska bites that way and 3 days later broke my screen so yea understand the cracked screen thing hah

Hi guys, such a good video today. I had to look on the map to find the falls of Glomach and underneath the name on the map it said “strenuous hike to a secluded cascade.” It was wonderful to see the waterfalls however, I also appreciate that Keeley made the decision that was right for her and said “NO, I’m not climbing down there because I don’t fancy climbing up again.” I think it is so important to be able to say no at times.
It was great to see Tom in the video too and when you were all practicing your Scottish accents, Tom’s was the best of the three, which is not saying much.
It had me laughing and laughing and the cup of tea I was drinking, was literally slopping all over the place.
There again I do have Scottish parents who came from Inverness so I knew what accent I was looking for and it wasn’t quite the one Tom achieved !
I wonder if they teach you Scottish ( not Gaelic) on Dúolingo. I so want Tom to achieve the ability to say loch properly.
It really isn’t difficult.
It’s only an aspirated H sound, so try saying loch again and again please Tom 😅.

when I lived in Scotland we filled the bathtub up it was that color too.

OMG that was such a feel good video.Tom has some motivation walking away from all that fun into the rain by himself. I thought you were getting a new laptop Keely, is that still the one that got liquid damage or another broken one? Hope the weather has picked up, it seems better than it has been this week.
Glad you enjoyed it 🥰🥰 It's the same one, I realised if I took out the battery and disconnected everything and added external peripherals I can pretty much use it as a screen, but the screen is also broken, and it randomly turns off because the chips aren't happy, so it probably has about 10% functionality lol. But editting laptops aren't cheap, tom been trying to convert me to Mac, but never used one before so been fighting spending the dollar, but it's defo needed haha.
@@phillyandkeely Oh I see, well if it works! Might be worth getting the screen fixed at least, it's an easy job and should be cheap to do. I know people love Macs for editing, but they are super expensive and impossible to repair without giving even more money to apple (even the hard drive is soldered in and can't be upgraded). I'd always stick with Windows as it's just more flexible. Oh other thing you could do to make more use of the semi broken laptop is remote into it from a low spec laptop or even a tablet with something like Teamviewer.
So nobody in Scotland told you to buy Avon ‘skin so soft’ spray? I live in Scotland and it really works against midges.

😂😂 we do buy good quality coffee, but because of that we restrict ourselves to 2-3 cups a day (depending on whether it's an edit day or not) it's not actually too much. Less than a weekly Starbucks anyway. I will admit when I was a teacher I would drink between 8-10 cups, but coffee was free in school and I worked in East London, so you needed it to survive 😂, Once we moved into the van and started drinking good coffee I quickly reduced that 😂

No we don't live anywhere really, we are from N Ireland, but we move around so much who knows where we live 🤣 but we have enjoyed the last three months living here in beautiful scotland. Not done Perthshire, need to add this to the list for when we are back next time 🥰🥰
