It appears that the director's intent was to evoke a girl putting on a favorite record and dancing by herself, for herself, in her room... at least that's what I got. I was surprised when she leaped up and came down into a full split!
I love this, the whole thing. The dancer, the music, the stomping Northern beat...........and plus the singer is worth a fiddle!
