This is the most well-explained step-by-step tutorial of partnership accounting I have ever watched. However, I would like to draw your attention to the share of profit aspect of the profit and loss appropriation account, where Ama was given 4/9 of the residual profit instead of 3/9 of the residual profit. Also, in the question, Ama's current account had a debit balance of 24,000, but in the partners' current account you wrote 2,400. It was a bit confusing to me because I was solving the question with you at the same time, but then I realized that it was an oversight on your part. I'm not sure if you have noticed this mistake, but I stand to be corrected. I really enjoy your tutorials. God bless you!

Hello.
Actually you are right but let be explain for you. The first point is you can correct the name for the share of the partner as per agreed ratios by yourself . The second is I also noticed this error but its a typing error and before this video there is also one another video on Control Accounts where Sir mentioned the error in the comments.
So, overall what I mean is go and correct the error by removing one extra zero from the figure. Thanks

Thank you very much sir, your lecture is very helpful but I have a little observation which there is a mistake concerning the current accounts. For Akua the debit side is 28,400 and not 20,300. While Ama's credit side is 25,200 and the difference is 8200 on the debit side and not 13600. Dede's own is correct. Thank you

There's an error in the Current account section, Akua b/f is 24,000(credit) according to the question, not 2,400 that you later used. except if there's an error in the question

Sir pls I think with the sharing of the profit..the name start from Ekua , Ama and Dede with their respective sharing ratio so the first name which is Akua should take 4/9, Ama 3/9 and Akua 2/9..but it seems the sharing ratio was misplaced in corresponding to the names..
