A tip for your dodgy punch: if you put two pieces of paper in together - so A4 bits or fold the piece you want to cut out in half... - and then cut, it should give you a smooth edge all round. I am looking forward to it all! My punch like that does better if I tuck a scrap of like weight paper behind the image I am cutting. It seems to like thicker paper. I totally understand what you mean about your garden. When I owned a home I had a vegetable garden and 6 flowerbeds. Then I moved to another state and rented in the country. I revived 2 flowerbeds that were there and had a vegetable garden. I now live in an apartment and only have flowerpots on my small patio. It helps me relax and keep my sanity! ❤ I like how you punched some of the images into circles. It really made things cohesive.
I love listening to you while you do masterboards while i craft. Your wisdom about life and your business is so very interesting and calming. Im glad that you stay true to your style and just create.😊❤❤merry christmas to you and to you a goodnight😂 i have circle punches that i love but they are finicky and ive yried like you to sharpen etc. They are expensive so i take my chances😊❤

If you feel you need to change your thumbnail design,, go for it. But yours are my favorite already. I can instantly spot which videos are yours in sea of little boxes, and I know where I’m clicking! So please do go with something consistent that we can learn to recognize as you again. In other words, your current design stands out in a good way and I hope your new design will too. Also, I think your thumbnail photos are great the way they are, even though I understand the artist always wants to do better. I always know what to expect in the video and can very easily find any project of yours I want to reference again.
I'll be changing them to make the image bigger but they'll still have a thin coloured border, and yes I'll keep them consistent moving forward so they'll be recognisable.

Great master board Ceri. I would love to see your garden, as I miss mine... EK tools circle punches are the best I have. They fold down & lock in place so they are easy to store. A little pricey, but if you grab them on sale....I'm a huge fan of quality tools. Have a beautiful day. xo
Wishing you the best as you overhaul your site. I started that process some time back on mine and funny when you mention blogging…. I’ve tried multiple times to keep up with that and have failed! Now that area of my site is called “blog-ish” lol. Interesting about UA-cam algorithms changing. I need to put more into my channel next year and need to learn more. (Mine is mostly glass art related but I’ve shared a few paper projects too.) Thanks for another lovely project video! I have a travel magazine that I started using the pages to collage onto, and watching this makes me want to dig that out and work through a pile of printed digital scrap pieces. Merry Christmas!

There are no rules Julie, I don’t normally do more than two layers as the master boards I make are normally for ephemera so I’m aware of the bulk.

I have a punch like yours. If I use two layers of paper instead of just one it cuts much better.
Sometimes that works with this punch sometimes not, I just can’t rely on it.
