I use dragonframe to capture my frames though you should note that it's neither the software nor the camera that makes an animation good, sure they can boost the quality in terms of visuals but it's the animator who brings that to life so in short any software that captures frames and offers a variety of fps and a device that has a camera will do the job nicely!

I reccomend a c920 over a phone as its very mobile and can fit into scenes a lot better than a phone can
