well depends of the owners that took care of service.. most known is that they can drink oil and later engine lose compression... ,dsg mech unit failure isnt cheap...
overall great car not much goes wrong but when it goes is around 1.5k € to fix.. (dsg or engine replacement..)
but normaly they last quite long.. some go even 250k kms with out problem so...

also the care offers alot of fun as first car or a car that is realy hard to lose licence with cuz you can drive "slower" and have fun... while in other newer car they dont have soul and are just stupid fast...
