I've had my Hyper X Cloud X for a few years now. These have been the longest surviving headset I've owned and these are literally used everyday from business calls during pandemic life to gaming on my xbox and my PC.
Ordered these a few days ago and I just watched this review and just the emotion and happiness shows me these could be pretty decent 👍 keep up the good content !!

The potential white noise in the background could be that noise suppression is off and the drivers (hd audio realteck) could be out of date, so you might need to update those, for pc players anyway. You can access noise suppression on the control panel, sound, microphone
I own the CloudX since 2016. Purchase price was approx 100 USD at the time. For 50 dollars these are a steal. I have had no feedback about static coming from the microphone via PC or Xbox. Glasses wearer as well, no excessive pressure on my face. Perhaps because I wear low profile glasses. No disrespect to this review video but it was rather subject. I'd check out a more spec driven review video before making a purchase. I dont know how to measure "umph"
I've used my CloudX for almost 2 or 3 years now and its by far one of the most tolerant headsets i've ever used, I have dropped them and accidentally thrown them in the ground and etc and it barley even got a scratch and the foam is still goes back to its original form, the only thing that would stop me from selling them as brand new never used headphones is the cable is a little bent at the connector but that happens to any headphone that you use in the same position for a while
I play on PS4 bit I dont like blue colours in general. However, that headset looks blue but it has a PS4 logo on it so if u wanna rock these outside.. u will look weird

@@cdy9567 I main the headset as of right now on pc after switching from Xbox.. Still sounds good of almost 2 1/2 years of use. Definitely recommend. I don't use the included microphone anymore, because I use a studio grade stand alone microphone, but the mic still works and sounds great.
Just bought these over the Astro a10s hopefully I picked the right choice! And that pressure point you were talking about might also be alleviated by taking off your hat
I have the PlayStation ones personally I love them I got them on sale for $40 best gaming headset I have purchased the only downside is they’re not wireless but if you want wireless you have to pay more but if you don’t mind the cord these are a perfect Choice I wear them 6-8 hour sessions all the time never have a comfort problem
Oh yeah I don’t like the press against my head on headsets, so the static noise my ps4 friend uses them and when I play fortnite with him with the cross platform feature, I hear it from him, but my xbox party chat with my friend I never hear the static noise and they have the same headset, so I’m guessing it’s ether the ps4 controller jack, or the console. After watching your Razer V2X and TB recon 500 ,I’m switching these out ,bought as a backup pair ,good but not great. I also feel my glasses quite quickly ,an hour or so and I feel the pressure
Just got these for Christmas today (12-25-20) and they are amazing!! Looked at reviews and seen SOME negativity. No echo for me. Sound quality is A+ would absolutely recommend if you’re looking for a corded headset 👍👍👍

Ik this is old but I use mine for my pc and yes they will but it's not USB so you will need a female to dual Male headphone splitter so you can use the mic while still getting audio.
I've had these for about 2 years or so. The only problem I've encountered is if you hit the wire where its plugged into the controller itll lose connection and you have to unplug and plus it back in. Kindve annoying.

For $100 the best your gonna get for console is either these or the steel series arctis 3. If you wanna spend $50 more you can get some Astro A40’s and they’re reallyyyyyy good

@@TheTechne i just got it, and i really have a bad experience. My right ear just got hurt so much. and the comfort isn't well. Ear Sweat after half an hour of using . The velour pads including is so itchy that i can't wear on for about 5 minutes. Can I do something to fix this Mr Techne. Or should i sell it to got the CM MH752 instead ?My ears are small so the fact that my ears touching the drivers is not gonna happen. I don't know what to do know. Really confusing...

the 50$ headset market is so big though, so many options.
The mic is terrible, though the build quality is okay. A corsair void is a much better option in the same pricerange

the static had happened to me it is an easy fix just turn down bass boost in sound setting on ur pc(exact steps in comments)

The Techne I have the Dolby atmos on my pc so will that give me full 7.1 surround or just stereo. Thanks

The problem I have is that after using the mute buton for a while it generated balance issues with the sound, that button is really cheap bro.
