Unemployment a ‘failure’ of policy, not temporary foreign workers: advocate | Canada Tonight

Syed Hussan, executive director of Migrant Workers Alliance for Change, says reducing the number of temporary foreign workers won’t lower the unemployment rate. Instead, it’s a ‘failure of provincial policy’ put on those who have ‘very few’ rights in Canada. The comments came after Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced that the federal government would reduce the number of temporary foreign workers in Canada.
