I have one of those in my garage. I’m going to install before my next trip. I just finished a 16 day adventure and only popped the Nemo a handful of times. Maybe I will like the enclosure more?
@@OverlandProductions You might. I guess it would depend. But solely based on value for money, it would be a no brainer. I don't see $250 in this Nemo thing at all. They make great stuff, but it seems to be quite a stretch.
I have a 5 gallon Sea to Summit water bag that has a shower nozzle on one end. I see this tent has the light hanging from a nylon strap. Do you think that strip would hole a 5 gallon bag of water, or is there a way to put another carabiner through the small hole at the top, if there is a hole? Thanks.
@@OverlandProductions Sorry , should have said 10 liter bag, which is around 2.6 gallons which weight around 20lbs. I sewed in my own strap onto the existing loop and which I can attach a carabiner and the bag too. Worlds just fine.
Yes it does, several loops for guy lines. Mine has been battered at the beach before and held up well. I brought extra long stakes to bury in the sand and put heavy objects inside like a case of water to hold it down.
Nice video dude .... I don't like it and I'm a huge fkn Nemo fan from Aussie ....I just take the pop up shelter save money and it's like 2mins setup ..... No matter what frame or no frame there not stable like a gazebo it's wierd.....
What up man! Thanks for the comment. It’s not for everyone I guess. My last trip my friend had one of those pop up self inflating models. It was cool but it didn’t have a floor or a roof. I did tie mine down like 5 ways due to wind but I was at the beach so I take some of that blame for so many tie downs
@@OverlandProductions look at the Spinifex branded shower tents we have here in Aus just google it or look on anaconda has a floor and roof etc Yeah gotta be sheltered mate and tie to trees or cars helps better lol
I am impressed how quickly the privacy tent can be assembled! Sure beats long walks in the middle of the night!
Marcia Rayne agreed!
Great video! Thanks for the detailed info on your experience with the Nemo Heliopolis.
Thanks for subscribing!
Very helpful and efficient video! I'm incredibly impressed with Nemo's customer service as well. Definitely buying from them in the future!
Glad it was helpful!
Nemo's shower tent looks transparent. If the sun shines or there are lights inside, does it look like there are people outside?
Amazing in depth review! Thanks for this!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I need a beverage holder in my privy!
For $250, an awning style shower seems like a great option instead.

Can you use an external shower with this tent? Such as the Mr Heater Basecamp unit?
The Kriptoker yes, interior dimensions are 4ft by 4ft. Plenty of room
@@OverlandProductions Awesome, thanks!
Any experience with the Nemo Wagontop tents?
I do not. They look fancy. I like the vestibule room for shoes and packs.
I have had the wagontop 4 for about 6 years and I love it. Also bought the garage and love it as well.
Best tent ever , i have 6p ,, but the 8p looks like hotel room , pure glamping

No, you’re taking about 42-45 pounds hanging from a hook designed for 4 ounces. It would not hold up for very long
