Hi Camirra ☺️! That’s how MAJORITY of stewed meats are cooked in Caribbean cultures. First we marinate it overnight for best flavor if you have the time. But either way the flavor penetrates to the bone. We hardly EVER fry raw meat. Also the “broth” that you mentioned is what we use as “gravy”. We do a little extra to it to perfect it in order to put it over our rice. It’s a process and technique you would have to visually see to do. But yup, I’m haitian and that’s the process of any stewed meat with gravy or “sauce” as we call it. You know what you’re doing in that kitchen sis ☺️!
@ Camirra: Yes it is! And also A LOT of us eat the same thing it’s just named differently is all. Or the same dish is seasoned differently due to who our colonizers were and integration. Nonetheless it’s due to our West African roots.
Your cooking reminds me of my paternal grandmother (R.I.P)😇💘💔💗 You have so many recipes on your UA-cam channel. I've yet to copy....BUT I will be doing some this week!! THANKS!!!💗💜💗
First of all I was SHOOK when you said you can steam the meat before frying it. Thank you!! Also I’ll be trying just about all of your recipes lol. Amazing job! ❤
I'm so glad you enjoying it! funny one of my neightbors started watching my videos and now she is on it too! Toney need to cut me a check hahaha. Also I loved the layout of H- mart! Lots of nice items
I think I did about 7-8 min. Just long enough to get brown. Remember they were kinda partially precooked so no need to over do it. Them sprinkle with seasoning

Do u think I can put them in an air fryer instead of frying
yes for sure! I would coat with olive oil then season and airfry
@@CamirrasKitchen that's for respond and great video. How long would you suggest air frying after steaming? And temp
I would do it at 385. I would just watch it until it gets brown. Probably take like 8 min.
Great video!! how did the turkey wings get brown before you added them to the grease?
Yes.if the fit
Technically she didn’t steam anything she oiled them
