Hi. Thanks for sharing. I am going to use your recipe. By the way, some recipes talk about butting the Turkey in a brine. What does the brining do? Did you brine yours or do you think it’s not necessary?
We have not had a real Thanksgiving dinner since my wife passed in Oct 2021. I will be attempting this for the first time. Wish me luck. I miss her so much and miss having a woman in the house.
I JUST MADE THIS TURKEY FOR A FRIENDSGIVING AND MAN LET ME TELL YOU. THEY FINISHED THE WHOLE THING!! USUALLY TURKEYS LAST A DAY OR 2. IM NOW THE TURKEY GUY THANKS TO THIS AMAZING RECIPE!
My son & I canceled Thanksgiving plans with our family due to possible coved. We decided to make our very own 1st Thx Giving Turkey ourselves... thx to your recipe & easy instructions our Turkey was a hit, it was moist & tasty . although it was just the 2 of us" it didn't matter as long as we were together" thx for making our Thx Giving a special one.
I MADE THIS TURKEY YESTERDAY FOR THANKSGIVING AND EVEN THO I DID NOT HAVE THE BAG THIS TURKEY WAS THE BEST TASTING & JUICIEST TURKEY EVER. IT WAS A BIG HIT. THANKS
I made this turkey today. Butterball turkey came already brined. I spatchcocked my turkey so I didn’t end up using what you did to fill your turkey. I also didn’t use a bag. LET ME TELL YOU THOUGH…BEST TURKEY I HAVE EVER HAD. My whole family said the same and usually Turkey isn’t everyone’s favorite but this year it was!

I cooked my 18lbs turkey according to your recipe minus the chicken seasoning ‘cause I didn’t have it on hand, and the turkey came out so juicy and beautiful. I did spray the skin with some cooking spray before putting turkey inside the oven. Cooked uncovered for about an hour, then covered the whole time with aluminum foil since I forgot to buy the oven bag, and took off the cover on the last 20-30 minutes. I didn’t mess with the turkey while it was cooking. Turkey was delicious and juicy. Thank you!
Second year Making Turkey. I don't want to brine in marinade. Ain't nobody got time for all that. Lol...I'll be using your recipe. Looks amazing. Thanks
This recipe saved our thanksgiving. Never tasted a juicier Turkey! Next year we’ll know to let sit overnight but I can’t imagine it would be anymore flavorful. Thank you!
@@debgal26 I don’t know about this recipe specifically. But you 100% have to brine your Turkey for at least 12 hrs. I do it for 24. Salt, pepper, rosemary, thyme, and brown sugar are the bare necessities. Make sure your Turkey is dry before you put seasoning on. The salt will pull out the moisture, and then it will be sucked back in with the seasonings. I don’t use this bag, so if you don’t either, then make sure to brush off the excess seasoning before you cook, or it will burn. Baste with seasoned olive oil every 30-45 minutes.
I know you probably won’t see this but todays my first thanksgiving after being a homeowner for 4 years. Turkey is in the oven now and I went step by step. I have all my faith in you 🥺❤

Thank you! Thank you!! Thank you!!! This was my first time making a full turkey and because of your video, it came out great and everyone loved it! I'm making another one for Christmas!!!
Followed the recipe!! went a little crazy on the seasoning though lol🤭 it’s currently sitting in my fridge, waking up at 5am to start it 🤩 I have a 20lb and doubled the ingredients
I'm just laying down. 🥱 Greens✅ Yams✅ Dressing prep✅ Turkey✅ I will say, trussing the turkey gave me a run for my money. I was flipping that thang and reversed all the butter off of it. I knew by looking at the video not to season the bird before trussing because clumping. 🤷🏾 I seasoned the cavity, buttered under the skin and meant to season it too (I forgot 🤭). Buttered the outside, truss, and sprinkle the seasoning. Next time I will sprinkle the seasoning in the cavity, stuff it, butter under the skin, season under the skin, truss it, butter it, and season.
Thank you so much Kiana for sharing your recipe, it was a daunting task because it was my first turkey 🦃 but it came out so crazy 😝 delicious, people couldn’t believe it was my first time!!

I will say, trussing the turkey gave me a run for my money.
That’s a juicy assssss turkey! I’m definitely using this recipe thank you!
You’re welcome!

I made your recipe for this years thanksgiving and it turned out delicious 😋
I’m going to keep commenting until tomorrow and the turkey is done. So the first step! THAT BUTTER!!! It was so hard to spread. Omg. I had to get my daughter to help me. Idk what she was doing to make it work. It’s like she was finger painting all over it. She’s 10 so she thought it was fun.
For real!! I don't know how she got her butter spread on there so easily 😭
Try melting the butter first
I made this turkey . It is the best recipe I ever tasted ! Thank you for sharing ❤
