Army Ranger Revisits D-Day with Best Defense Foundation

The Best Defense Foundation takes WWII veteran and former Army Ranger Roy Huereque back to the battlefields on which he fought. The sacrifices of these heroes will not be forgotten.
Former NFL player Donnie Edwards has spent the last 22 years supporting veterans, and he founded the Best Defense Foundation. Through it, they have accompanied hundreds of veterans (particularly from WWII and Vietnam) back to the battlefields of the past, and they have done it at no cost to the veteran. Not only do they seek to support the veteran and bring them a sense of closure and catharsis, but they also want these stories of true heroes to remain in living memory among all Americans.
